1The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.
Israel Beloved of God
2“I⚓ have loved you,” says the Lord.
“Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?’
Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?”
Says the Lord.
“Yet ⚓Jacob I have loved;
3But Esau I have hated,
And ⚓laid waste his mountains and his heritage
For the jackals of the wilderness.”
4Even though Edom has said,
“We have been impoverished,
But we will return and build the desolate places,”
Thus says the Lord of hosts:
“They may build, but I will ⚓throw down;
They shall be called the Territory of Wickedness,
And the people against whom the Lord will have indignation forever.
5Your eyes shall see,
And you shall say,
⚓‘The Lord is magnified beyond the border of Israel.’
Polluted Offerings
6“A son ⚓honors his father,
And a servant his master.
⚓If then I am the Father,
Where is My honor?
And if I am a Master,
Where is My reverence?
Says the Lord of hosts
To you priests who despise My name.
⚓Yet you say, ‘In what way have we despised Your name?’
7“You offer ⚓defiled food on My altar,
But say,
‘In what way have we defiled You?’
By saying,
⚓‘The table of the Lord is contemptible.’
8And ⚓when you offer the blind as a sacrifice,
Is it not evil?
And when you offer the lame and sick,
Is it not evil?
Offer it then to your governor!
Would he be pleased with you?
Would he ⚓accept you favorably?”
Says the Lord of hosts.
9“But now entreat God’s favor,
That He may be gracious to us.
⚓While this is being done by your hands,
Will He accept you favorably?”
Says the Lord of hosts.
10“Who is there even among you who would shut the doors,
⚓So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain?
I have no pleasure in you,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
⚓“Nor will I accept an offering from your hands.
11For ⚓from the rising of the sun, even to its going down,
My name shall be great ⚓among the Gentiles;
⚓In every place ⚓incense shall be offered to My name,
And a pure offering;
⚓For My name shall be great among the nations,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
12“But you profane it,
In that you say,
⚓‘The table of the Lord is defiled;
And its fruit, its food, is contemptible.’
13You also say,
‘Oh, what a ⚓weariness!’
And you sneer at it,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
“And you bring the stolen, the lame, and the sick;
Thus you bring an offering!
⚓Should I accept this from your hand?”
Says the Lord.
14“But cursed be⚓the deceiver
Who has in his flock a male,
And takes a vow,
But sacrifices to the Lord ⚓what is blemished—
For ⚓I am a great King,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“And My name is to be feared among the nations.

4Tơlah phung Êdôm lah: Hên lĕ rai jêh, ƀiălah hên mra plơ̆ sĭt ndâk đŏng lĕ ntŭk djơh rai jêh, pôri Yêhôva phung tahan tâm ban lĕ lah jêh pôao: Khân păng mra ndâk, đŏng, ƀiălah gâp mra ƀư rlâm lơi, bu mra ntơ khân păng jêng N'gor Djơh Mhĭk, jêh ri jêng phung ƀon lan Yêhôva ji nuih n'ho ro.
5Măt khân may mra saơ, jêh ri khân may mra lah: Toyh ngăn Yêhôva, nđâp ma đah ri n' har neh Israel!
Yêhôva Nduyh Ma Phung Kôranh Ƀư Brah
6Duhuê kon bu klâu yơh ma mbơ̆ păng jêh ri du huê oh mon yơk ma kôranh păng. Pôri, tơlah gâp jêng du huê mbơ̆, ntŭk hŏ geh nau yơk ma gâp? jêh ri tơlah gâp jêng kôranh, ntŭk hŏ geh nau bu klach yơk ma gâp? Yêhôva phung tahan lah ma khân may, Hơi phung kôranh ƀư brah, jêng phung tâm rmot ma amoh gâp! Khân may lah: ntŭk geh hên tâm rmot amoh may?
7Khân may nhhơr piăng let ƀơ̆ ƀơch ta kalơ nơng gâp, jêh ta nây khân may lah: Ta ntŭk geh hên hŏ ƀư ƀơ̆ ƀơch ma may? Nây jêng nau mhĭk khân may lah: Sưng sông Yêhôva jêng ndơ mưch rmot.
8Tơlah khân may nhhơr du mlâm mpô mpa chieh măt ŭch ƀư brah, nau nây mâu hĕ jêng tih? Tơlah khân may nhhơr du mlâm mpô mpa kuet rvĕn mâu lah ji rôi, nau nây mâu hĕ jêng mhĭk? Lŏng nâl khân may nhhơr ndơ nây ma kôranh n'gor may, pôri păng mra maak jêh ri yô̆ dơn ndơ may lĕ? Yêhôva phung tahan lah.
9Aƀaơ vơh vơl hom ma nau Brah Ndu yô̆, gay ma păng yô̆ an ma he, mâu hĕ păng dơn du huê tâm phung khân may? Yêhôva phung tahan lah.
10Moh ndơ ŭch tâm khân may geh du huê bunuyh nchăng lơi mpông ngih brah, gay ma khân may mâu mpoh ŭnh dơm dam ta ntŭk nơng gâp! Yêhôva phung tahan lah: "Gâp mâu geh nau maak ôh ma khân may, jêh ri gâp mâu mra dơn ôh du ntil ndơ nhhơr tă bơh ti khân mây."
11Yorlah ntơm bơh luh nar tât ntŭk nhâp nar, amoh gâp mra jêng toyh ta nklang phung ntil mpôl bunuyh bri bu, Yêhôva phung tahan lah.
12ƀiălah khân may hŏ ƀư ƀơ̆ amoh gâp, jêh ri lah: Sưng sông Yêhôva jêng ƀơ̆ ƀơch, ndơ sa sông tă bơh păng, hên tâm rmot.
13Khân may lah: Rgănh hâu ngăn nau kan aơ! jêh ri khân may khek biănh ma ndơ nây. Yêhôva phung tahan lah: Khân may djôt tât ndơ bu nchâp, ndơ kuet rvĕn jêh ri ji rôi, nây jêng ndơ khân may leo nhhơr ma gâp. Gâp mra dơn lĕ ndơ nây tă bơh ti khân may? Yêhôva lah.
14Rak rtăp ngăn ma nơm ndơm, tâm phung păng geh du mlâm biăp nkuăng, păng hŏ ton nhhơr jêh, jêh ri nkhơng nhhơr biăp kuet rôi, ndơ nhhơr ƀư brah ma Yêhôva; yorlah gâp jêng Hađăch toyh, Yêhôva phung tahan lah, jêh ri bu mra klach amoh gâp ta nklang phung ntil mpôl bunuyh.
