Jesus Transfigured on the Mount

¹Now ⚓after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; ²and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. ³And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. ⁴Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
⁵⚓While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, ⚓“This is My beloved Son, ⚓in whom I am well pleased. ⚓Hear Him!” ⁶⚓And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. ⁷But Jesus came and ⚓touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” ⁸When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
⁹Now as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead.”
¹⁰And His disciples asked Him, saying, ⚓“Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
¹¹Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will ⚓restore all things. ¹²⚓But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they ⚓did not know him but did to him whatever they wished. Likewise ⚓the Son of Man is also about to suffer at their hands.” ¹³⚓Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.

A Boy Is Healed

¹⁴⚓And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, ¹⁵“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. ¹⁶So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”
¹⁷Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and ⚓perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” ¹⁸And Jesus ⚓rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
¹⁹Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
²⁰So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, ⚓if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. ²¹However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Jesus Again Predicts His Death and Resurrection

²²⚓Now while they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men, ²³and they will kill Him, and the third day He will be raised up.” And they were exceedingly ⚓sorrowful.

Peter and His Master Pay Their Taxes

²⁴⚓When they had come to Capernaum, those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?”
²⁵He said, “Yes.”
And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from ⚓strangers?”
²⁶Peter said to Him, “From strangers.”
Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. ²⁷Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

耶稣登山显荣

（可9．2－13；路9．28－36）

¹过了六天，耶稣带着彼得、雅各和雅各的弟弟约翰，领他们悄悄地上了高山。 ²他在他们面前变了形像，他的脸明亮如太阳，衣裳洁白如光。 ³忽然，有摩西和以利亚向他们显现，与耶稣说话。 ⁴彼得回应，对耶稣说：“主啊，我们在这里真好！你若愿意，我就在这里搭三座棚，一座为你，一座为摩西，一座为以利亚。” ⁵说话之间，忽然有一朵明亮的云彩遮盖他们，又有声音从云彩里出来，说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜爱的。你们要听从他！” ⁶门徒听见，就俯伏在地，极其害怕。 ⁷耶稣进前来，拍拍他们，说：“起来，不要害怕！” ⁸他们举目，不见一人，只见耶稣独自一人。
⁹下山的时候，耶稣嘱咐他们说：“人子还没有从死人中复活，你们不要把所看到的告诉人。” ¹⁰门徒问耶稣：“那么，文士为什么说以利亚必须先来？” ¹¹耶稣回答：“以利亚的确要来，并要复兴万事； ¹²可是我告诉你们，以利亚已经来了，人不认识他，反倒任意待他。人子也将这样受他们的苦。” ¹³门徒这才明白耶稣所说的是指施洗的约翰。

治好被鬼附的孩子

（可9．14－29；路9．37－43）

¹⁴耶稣和门徒到了众人那里，有一个人来见耶稣，跪下， ¹⁵说：“主啊，可怜我的儿子。他害癫痫病很苦，屡次跌进火里，屡次跌进水里。 ¹⁶我带他到你门徒那里，他们却不能医治他。” ¹⁷耶稣回答：“唉！这又不信又悖谬的世代啊，我和你们在一起要到几时呢？我忍耐你们要到几时呢？把他带到我这里来！” ¹⁸耶稣斥责那鬼，鬼就出来；从那时起，孩子就痊愈了。 ¹⁹门徒私下进前来问耶稣：“我们为什么不能赶出那鬼呢？” ²⁰耶稣对他们说：“是因你们的信心小。我实在告诉你们，你们若有信心像一粒芥菜种，就是对这座山说：‘你从这边移到那边’，它也会移过去，并且你们没有一件不能做的事了。⚓”

耶稣第二次预言受难和复活

（可9．30－32；路9．43－45）

²²他们聚集在加利利的时候，耶稣对门徒说：“人子将要被交在人手里。 ²³他们要杀害他，第三天他要复活。”门徒就非常忧愁。

缴纳圣殿税

²⁴他们到了迦百农，收圣殿税⚓的人来见彼得，说：“你们的老师不纳圣殿税吗？” ²⁵彼得说：“纳。”他进了屋子，耶稣先对他说：“西门，你的意见如何？世上的君王向谁征收关税或丁税？是向自己的儿子呢？还是向外人呢？” ²⁶彼得说：“是向外人。”耶稣对他说：“既然如此，儿子就可以免了。 ²⁷但恐怕触犯他们，你往海边去钓鱼，把先钓上来的鱼拿起来，开了它的口，会发现一个司塔特⚓，可以拿去给他们，作你我的税钱。”
