1After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor. 2With a mighty voice he shouted: “ ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’⚓ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal. 3For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”
Warning to Escape Babylon’s Judgment
4Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “ ‘Come out of her, my people,’⚓ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; 5for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes. 6Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Pour her a double portion from her own cup. 7Give her as much torment and grief as the glory and luxury she gave herself. In her heart she boasts, ‘I sit enthroned as queen. I am not a widow;⚓ I will never mourn.’ 8Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.
Threefold Woe Over Babylon’s Fall
9“When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. 10Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: “ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city, you mighty city of Babylon! In one hour your doom has come!’ 11“The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes anymore— 12cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls; fine linen, purple, silk and scarlet cloth; every sort of citron wood, and articles of every kind made of ivory, costly wood, bronze, iron and marble; 13cargoes of cinnamon and spice, of incense, myrrh and frankincense, of wine and olive oil, of fine flour and wheat; cattle and sheep; horses and carriages; and human beings sold as slaves. 14“They will say, ‘The fruit you longed for is gone from you. All your luxury and splendor have vanished, never to be recovered.’ 15The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn 16and cry out: “ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city, dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet, and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls! 17In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!’ “Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off. 18When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’ 19They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out: “ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city, where all who had ships on the sea became rich through her wealth! In one hour she has been brought to ruin!’
20“Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”
The Finality of Babylon’s Doom
21Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said: “With such violence the great city of Babylon will be thrown down, never to be found again. 22The music of harpists and musicians, pipers and trumpeters, will never be heard in you again. No worker of any trade will ever be found in you again. The sound of a millstone will never be heard in you again. 23The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world’s important people. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray. 24In her was found the blood of prophets and of God’s holy people, of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

Păng jêng jêh ntŭk phung brah mhĭk gŭ, mpêr n'gar ma lĕ rngôch brah mhĭk ƀơ̆, mpêr n'gar ma lĕ rngôch phung sĭm ƀơ̆ jêh ri bu tâm rmot. 3Yorlah lĕ rngôch mpôl băl nhêt jêh ndrănh nau ji nuih bơh nau văng tĭr păng, phung hđăch ta neh ntu ƀư jêh nau văng tĭr đah păng, jêh ri phung tăch drăp ta neh ntu jêng ndrŏng jêh ma nau brah bơh nau ueh păng!" 4Jêh ri gâp tăng tă bơh trôk du bâr êng lah nâm pô aơ: "Hơi phung ƀon lan gâp, luh hom tă bơh tâm nklang păng gay lơi ăn khân may ƀư tih ndrel ma păng, jêh ri khân may mâu dơn ôh nau rêh ni ndrel ma păng. 5Yorlah nau tih păng bun tât ta klơ trôk, jêh ri Brah Ndu kah gĭt ma nau kue păng. 6Mplơ̆ lơi ma păng nâm bu păng ƀư jêh, jêh ri ăn ma păng bar tăp tĭng nâm kan păng; tâm kchok păng nkhŭt jêh, kêt ma păng bar tơ̆. 7Tĭng nâm păng tâm rnê ma păng nơm jêh ri jao păng nơm ma nau ueh, tâm ban lĕ ăn ma păng nau rêh ni jêh ri nau klâng ndrê. Yorlah păng lah tâm nuih n'hâm păng: 'Gâp gŭ jêh tâm ban ma hđăch bu ur, gâp mâu jêng bu ur khĭt sai ôh jêh ri gâp mâu mra saơ nau klâng rvê ôh.' 8Yor nau nây mâu tâm nar nây lĕ nau rêh ni ma păng jêng tât, nâm bu ntĭt nau khĭt, nau klâng ndrê, jêh ri nau sa sât ji ngot, jêh ri păng nơm ŭnh mra sa; yorlah Kôranh Brah Ndu, Nơm phat dôih păng jêng Nơm brah." 9Jêh ri lĕ rngôch phung hđăch ta neh ntu ƀư jêh nau văng tĭr jêh ri rêh ma nau mpŭng drăp ndơ đah păng mra nhĭm jêh ri rngot klâng yor păng, tơlah khân păng saơ ŭnh nhhuk ta păng. 10Khân păng gŭ dâk ngai đah nau klach ma nau ƀư rêh ni păng, jêh ri khân păng lah: "Rêh ni, rêh ni yơh, hơi Babilôn, ƀon toyh jêh ri ktang! Tâm du mông nau phat dôih ma may tât jêh." 11Phung tăch drăp ta neh ntu nhĭm jêh ri klâng ndrê yor păng, yorlah mâu hôm geh bunuyh rvăt tay ndơ khân păng tăch, 12ndơ tăch mah, prăk, lŭ khlay, lŭ rmah, bok mhay, bok chăng krăk, bok ek ndrŭng, bok sut, ăp ntil ndơ ma la, ăp ntil ndơ ma si khlay ngăn, ma kông, ma loih, jêh ri ma lŭ marbrơ, 13ma sinamôm, ndơ ƀâu kah, dak ƀâu kah, dak si tăng, dak si ƀâu kah, dak play kriăk ƀâu, dak ngi, rnih muy, ba me, ndrôk biăp, seh, ndeh, jêh ri dĭk, nâm bu ntĭt huêng bunuyh. 14Play huêng may kơnh jêh du ngai jêh đah may, jêh ri lĕ rngôch ndơ hăch jêh ri ueh roh jêh đah may jêh ri may mâu mra saơ khân păng ôh! 15Phung tăch ndơ nĕ jêng ndrŏng jêh yor păng mra gŭ ngai tâm nau klach ma nau ƀư rêh ni păng. Khân păng mra nhĭm jêh ri klâng ndrê jêh ri lah: 16"Rêh ni, rêh ni yơh, hơi ƀon toyh, soh jêh ao mhay rhên, bok chăng krăk jêh ri chăng sut, nhom ma mah, lŭ khlay jêh ri lŭ ang! 17Tâm du mông lĕ nau ndrŏng nây rai lĕ jêh. Lĕ rngôch phung rmăk kŭmpăn jêh ri lĕ rngôch phung tăch drăp tâm dak mƀŭt gŭ ngai." 18Jêh ri khân păng nter dôl saơ nhhuk ŭnh sa păng: "Mbu ƀon jêng nâm bu ƀon toyh nĕ?" 19Khân păng suy ndruyh neh ta bôk khân păng. Khân păng nhĭm, klâng ndrê jêh ri nter lah nâm pô aơ: "Rêh ni, rêh ni yơh hơi ƀon toyh ta nây lĕ rngôch phung geh kŭmpăn ta dak mƀŭt geh nau ndrŏng jêh ma nau păng ndrŏng! Tâm du mông păng rai jêh. 20Hơi trôk, răm maak hom ma nau may ƀư rai păng, hơi phung kloh ueh, phung kôranh oh mon, jêh ri phung kôranh nơm mbơh lor; yorlah Brah Ndu sŏng đah khân may jêh dôl phat dôih păng!" 21Pô nây du huê tông păr ueh brah ngăn sŏk du mlâm play lŭ nâm bu mpăl toyh, jêh ri klŭp păng tâm dak mƀŭt, jêh ri lah pô nây bu mra klŭp ma nau ktang Babilôn ƀon toyh, jêh ri mâu mra saơ păng ôh. 22Bu mâu mra hôm tăng ôh tâm may, nteh phung kreh gong rêng, phung mprơ, phung uh n'hôm jêh ri nŭng, tâm may bu mâu mra saơ du huê bunuyh pah kan êng ôh; tâm may bu mâu mra tăng nteh mpăl ôh. 23Nau ang ŭnh kđen mâu mra nchrang tâm may ôh, jêh ri tâm may bu mâu hôm tăng bâr ur mâu lah sai ôh. Yorlah phung tăch drăp may jêng phung toyh ta neh ntu, jêh ri lĕ rngôch mpôl băl bunuyh tŭp jêh tâm nau may ndơm. 24Jêh ri tâm păng mra saơ jêh mham phung kôranh nơm mbơh lor jêh ri phung kloh ueh, jêh ri lĕ rngôch phung bu tâm nkhĭt ta neh ntu.
