through its streets and squares;

3The watchmen found me
as they made their rounds in the city.
“Have you seen the one my heart loves?”
4Scarcely had I passed them
when I found the one my heart loves.
I held him and would not let him go
till I had brought him to my mother’s house,
to the room of the one who conceived me.
5Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you
by the gazelles and by the does of the field:
Do not arouse or awaken love
until it so desires.
6Who is this coming up from the wilderness
like a column of smoke,
perfumed with myrrh and incense
made from all the spices of the merchant?
7Look! It is Solomon’s carriage,
escorted by sixty warriors,
the noblest of Israel,
8all of them wearing the sword,
all experienced in battle,
each with his sword at his side,
prepared for the terrors of the night.
9King Solomon made for himself the carriage;
he made it of wood from Lebanon.
10Its posts he made of silver,
its base of gold.
Its seat was upholstered with purple,
its interior inlaid with love.
Daughters of Jerusalem,
11come out,
and look, you daughters of Zion.
Look⚓ on King Solomon wearing a crown,
the crown with which his mother crowned him
on the day of his wedding,
the day his heart rejoiced.

4Gâp tâm rlet bơh khân păng ngai djê̆, gâp mâp bunuyh nuih n'hâm gâp rŏng Gâp ut păng, mâu ăn păng klaih ôh Kŏ tât gâp leo păng rlet ngih mê̆ gâp, Lăp tâm jrô nơm deh nkeng ma gâp.
5Hơi phung kon bu ur ƀon Yêrusalem, gâp ntĭnh ma khân ay Yor tă amoh Yơng mâu lah jun me tâm krŏng, Lơi nsônh, mâu lah rlay nau rŏng gâp ôh, ăn tât mông tơlah păng ŭch
6Mbu moh bunuyh nây văch tă bơh bri rdah, nâm bu n'gâng ŭch, geh ƀâu n'hôl âk ndơ ƀâu kah, geh nđâp lĕ ntil ranih ƀâu kah phung tăch drăp?
7Aơ, ndơ nây jêng rpê̆ tung Y-Salômôn! Geh prao jê̆t nuyh tâm phung dăng katang Israel Nchueng jŭm păng;
8Lĕ rngôch djôt đao da dê jêh ri jêng phung n'hăk lĕ nau tâm lơh; ăp nơm geh cheng đao ta bŭt gay njrăng rlăng nau ndơl dôl bri măng.
9Hađăch Salômôn ƀư ma păng nơm du mlâm rlê̆ ma tơm si tă bơh bri Liban.
10Păng ƀư mâng rnung păng ma prăk, ntŭk nsing ma miah ntŭk săp gŭ nkŭm ma bok rvanh chăng krăk; ma nau rŏng phung kon bu ur ƀon Yêrusalem tanh bok nkŭm tâm trôm.
11Hơi phung kon bu ur siôn, hăn hom, jêh ri uănh hađăch Salômôn, ndô đon hađăch mê̆ păng ndô jêh ta păng. Ta nar tâm nkol ur sai păng Ta hâk răm ma nuih n'hâm păng.
