Jesus Cleanses a Leper

1When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant

5Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
7And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
8The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.
10When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

Peter’s Mother-in-Law Healed

14Now when Jesus had come into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever. 15So He touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she arose and served them.

Many Healed in the Evening

16When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
  “He Himself took our infirmities
   And bore our sicknesses.”

The Cost of Discipleship

18And when Jesus saw great multitudes about Him, He gave a command to depart to the other side. 19Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
21Then another of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”
22But Jesus said to him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Wind and Wave Obey Jesus

23Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Two Demon-Possessed Men Healed

28When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. 29And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
30Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. 31So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.”
32And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water.
33Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region.

潔淨痲瘋病人

(可1.40-45;路5.12-16)

1耶穌下了山,有一大羣人跟着他。 2這時,一個痲瘋病人前來拜他,說:「主啊,你若肯,你能使我潔淨。」 3耶穌伸手摸他,說:「我肯,你潔淨了吧!」他的痲瘋病立刻就潔淨了。 4耶穌對他說:「你要注意,不可告訴任何人,只要去,讓祭司為你檢查,並獻上摩西所吩咐的祭物,作為證據給眾人看。」

治好百夫長的僮僕

(路7.1-10)

5耶穌進了迦百農,有一個百夫長進前來,求他, 6說:「主啊,我的僮僕癱瘓了,躺在家裏,非常痛苦。」 7耶穌說:「我去醫治他。」 8百夫長回答:「主啊,你到舍下來,我不敢當;只要你說一句話,我的僮僕就會痊癒。 9因為我在人的權下,也有兵在我以下。我對這個說:『去!』他就去;對那個說:『來!』他就來;對我的僕人說:『做這事!』他就去做。」 10耶穌聽了就很驚訝,對跟從的人說:「我實在告訴你們,這麼大的信心,就是在以色列,我也沒有見過。 11我又告訴你們,從東從西,將有許多人來,在天國裏與亞伯拉罕以撒雅各一同坐席; 12本國的子民反而被趕到外邊黑暗裏去,在那裏要哀哭切齒了。」 13耶穌對百夫長說:「你回去吧!照你的信心成全你了。」就在那時,他的僮僕好了。

治好許多病人

(可1.29-34;路4.38-41)

14耶穌到了彼得家裏,見彼得的岳母正發燒躺着。 15耶穌一摸她的手,燒就退了,於是她起來服事耶穌。
16傍晚的時候,有人帶着許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前,他只用一句話就把邪靈都趕出去,並且治好了一切有病的人。 17這是要應驗以賽亞先知所說的話:
  「他代替了我們的軟弱,
  擔當了我們的疾病。」

跟從耶穌應有的準備

(路9.57-62)

18耶穌見許多人圍着他,就吩咐渡到對岸去。 19有一個文士進前來對他說:「老師,你無論往哪裏去,我都要跟從你。」 20耶穌說:「狐狸有洞,天空的飛鳥有窩,人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」 21又有一個門徒對耶穌說:「主啊,容許我先回去埋葬我的父親。」 22耶穌說:「讓死人埋葬他們的死人。你跟從我吧!」

平靜風和海

(可4.35-41;路8.22-25)

23耶穌上了船,門徒跟着他。 24海裏忽然起了猛烈的風暴,以致船幾乎被波浪淹沒,耶穌卻睡着了。 25門徒去叫醒他,說:「主啊,救命啊,我們快沒命啦!」 26耶穌說:「你們這些小信的人哪,為甚麼膽怯呢?」於是他起來,斥責風和海,風和海就大大平靜了。 27眾人驚訝地說:「這是怎樣的一個人?連風和海都聽從他。」

治好加大拉被鬼附的人

(可5.1-20;路8.26-39)

28耶穌渡到對岸去,到加大拉的地區,有兩個被鬼附的人從墳墓迎着他走來。他們極其兇猛,甚至沒有人敢從那條路經過。 29他們喊着說:「上帝的兒子,你為甚麼干擾我們?時候還沒有到,你就上這裏來叫我們受苦嗎?」 30離他們很遠,有一大羣豬正在吃食。 31鬼就央求耶穌,說:「若要把我們趕出去,就打發我們進入豬羣吧!」 32耶穌對他們說:「去吧!」鬼就出來,進入豬羣。一轉眼,整羣豬都闖下山崖,投進海裏,淹死了。 33放豬的就逃進城去,把這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴眾人。 34全城的人都出來迎見耶穌,見了他以後,就央求他離開他們的地區。
