Sorrow for Israel’s Sins
1Woe is me!
For I am like those who gather summer fruits,
Like those who ⚓glean vintage grapes;
There is no cluster to eat
Of the first-ripe fruit which⚓my soul desires.
2The ⚓faithful man has perished from the earth,
And there is no one upright among men.
They all lie in wait for blood;
⚓Every man hunts his brother with a net.
3That they may successfully do evil with both hands—
The prince asks for gifts,
The judge seeks a ⚓bribe,
And the great man utters his evil desire;
So they scheme together.
4The best of them is⚓like a brier;
The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge;
The day of your watchman and your punishment comes;
Now shall be their perplexity.
5⚓Do not trust in a friend;
Do not put your confidence in a companion;
Guard the doors of your mouth
From her who lies in your ⚓bosom.
6For ⚓son dishonors father,
Daughter rises against her mother,
Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
7Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will ⚓wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me.
Israel’s Confession and Comfort
8⚓Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
⚓When I fall, I will arise;
When I sit in darkness,
The Lordwill be a light to me.
9⚓I will bear the indignation of the Lord,
Because I have sinned against Him,
Until He pleads my ⚓case
And executes justice for me.
He will bring me forth to the light;
I will see His righteousness.
10Then she who is my enemy will see,
And ⚓shame will cover her who said to me,
⚓“Where is the Lord your God?”
My eyes will see her;
Now she will be trampled down
Like mud in the streets.
11In the day when your ⚓walls are to be built,
In that day the decree shall go far and wide.
12In that day ⚓they shall come to you
From Assyria and the fortified cities,
From the fortress to the River,
From sea to sea,
And mountain to mountain.
13Yet the land shall be desolate
Because of those who dwell in it,
And ⚓for the fruit of their deeds.
God Will Forgive Israel
14Shepherd Your people with Your staff,
The flock of Your heritage,
Who dwell solitarily in a ⚓woodland,
In the midst of Carmel;
Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,
As in days of old.
15“As⚓ in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt,
I will show them ⚓wonders.”
16The nations ⚓shall see and be ashamed of all their might;
⚓They shall put their hand over their mouth;
Their ears shall be deaf.
17They shall lick the ⚓dust like a serpent;
⚓They shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth.
⚓They shall be afraid of the Lord our God,
And shall fear because of You.
18⚓Who is a God like You,
⚓Pardoning iniquity
And passing over the transgression of ⚓the remnant of His heritage?
⚓He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in⚓mercy.
19He will again have compassion on us,
And will subdue our iniquities.
You will cast all our sins
Into the depths of the sea.
20⚓You will give truth to Jacob
And mercy to Abraham,
⚓Which You have sworn to our fathers
From days of old.

Kôranh chiă uănh ŭch geh drăp ndơ, jêh ri kôranh phat dôih dăn ndơ bu blŏl, bi ma bunuyh toyh ŭch ngơi nau mhĭk păng ŭch tâm nuih n'hâm; pôri khân păng tâm chră ndrel.
4Bunuyh ueh lơn tâm phung khân păng jêng nâm bu lok mâng glâng. bi ma nơm sŏng srăng lơn tâm phung khân păng jêng nâm bu mpach lok. Nau phung gak mbơh ma nar nau tâm rmal khân păng tât jêh; aƀaơ ri nau uh ah dăch tât jêh ma khân păng.
5Lơi ta iăt nchroh ma du huê bunuyh chiau meng khân may; jêh ri lơi ta rnơm nsing ma du huê mĭt jiăng may ôh. Njrăng hom ma nau may ngơi ndrel ma bu ur chŭn ta ntang ntơh may;
6yorlah kon bu klâu ƀư ma mbơ̆ păng ma nau tâm rmot, kon bu ur du dâk tâm rdâng đah mê̆ păng, ƀăn tâm rdâng đah me po, jêh ri bunuyh rlăng jêng bunuyh tâm ngih vâl may nơm.

7Bi ma gâp, gâp mra kâp uănh ma Yêhôva, gâp mra kâp gân Brah Ndu nơm tâm rklaih gâp; Brah Ndu gâp mra iăt gâp.
8Hơi nơm rlăng gâp, lơi ta răm maak ôh yor gâp, nđâp tơlah gâp lĕ chalôt, gâp mra dâk đŏng, nđâp tơlah gâp gŭ tâm ntŭk ngo klĕng,
Yêhôva mra jêng nau ang ma gâp.
9Gâp mra dơn nau Yêhôva nuih, yorlah gâp ƀư tih jêh ma păng, kŏ tât păng koh dŏng an dôih gâp jêh ri phat an dôih gâp.
Pôri păng mra njŭn leo gâp ma nau ang,
Gâp mra saơ nau sŏng Păng.
10Rnôk nây nơm rlăng ma gâp mra saơ, jêh ri mra prêng. Păng jêng nơm hŏ lah ma gâp,
"Ta ntŭk Yêhôva Brah Ndu may?"

11Moh nar prăp ma nau ndâk đŏng pêr khân may!

13Ƀiălah neh ntu mra jêng rngol yor phung gŭ tâm păng, yor play tă bơh nau khân păng ƀư.

14Chiă uănh hom phung ƀon lan may ma mâng jra may,
lĕ rngôch phung biăp jêng drăp ndơn may, phung gŭ êng tâm krŏng ta nklang Karmel; ăn khân păng sa gơ̆ ta bri Basan jêh ri tâm bri Galaat nâm bu rnôk saơm.
15"Nâm bu rnôk may du luh tă bơh n'gor bri Êjipt, gâp mra tâm mpơl ma khân păng kan khlay gâp ƀư"
16Phung mpôl băl bunuyh mra saơ jêh ri prêng nđâp ma lĕ nau katang khân păng;
khân păng mra gŭ klăk klêm mâu hôm geh nau ngơi ôh; tôr khân păng jêng tê̆k.
17Khân păng mra sa ler neh muy nâm bu du mlâm bêh, nâm bu mpa vơr ta neh.
Khân păng mra luh du padih pôih nâp khân păng ma nau râm nsâr, khân păng mra rle mpeh Yêhôva Brah Ndu he ma nau klach ngăn, jêh ri khân păng klach ma May.
18Mbu nơm jêng Brah Ndu nâm bu May, blau yô̆ an ma nau kue, jêh ri mâu klăp ndăng ôh nau rlau nau vay, ma phung hôm e jêng drăp ndơn păng?
