Sorrow for Israel’s Sins

  1Woe is me!
   For I am like those who gather summer fruits,
   Like those who glean vintage grapes;
   There is no cluster to eat
   Of the first-ripe fruit whichmy soul desires.
   2The faithful man has perished from the earth,
   And there is no one upright among men.
   They all lie in wait for blood;
   Every man hunts his brother with a net.
  3That they may successfully do evil with both hands—
   The prince asks for gifts,
   The judge seeks a bribe,
   And the great man utters his evil desire;
   So they scheme together.
   4The best of them islike a brier;
   The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge;
   The day of your watchman and your punishment comes;
   Now shall be their perplexity.
  5Do not trust in a friend;
   Do not put your confidence in a companion;
   Guard the doors of your mouth
   From her who lies in your bosom.
   6For son dishonors father,
   Daughter rises against her mother,
   Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
   A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
   7Therefore I will look to the Lord;
   I will wait for the God of my salvation;
   My God will hear me.

Israel’s Confession and Comfort

  8Do not rejoice over me, my enemy;
   When I fall, I will arise;
   When I sit in darkness,
   The Lordwill be a light to me.
   9I will bear the indignation of the Lord,
   Because I have sinned against Him,
   Until He pleads my case
   And executes justice for me.
   He will bring me forth to the light;
   I will see His righteousness.
   10Then she who is my enemy will see,
   And shame will cover her who said to me,
   “Where is the Lord your God?”
   My eyes will see her;
   Now she will be trampled down
   Like mud in the streets.
  11In the day when your walls are to be built,
   In that day the decree shall go far and wide.
   12In that day they shall come to you
   From Assyria and the fortified cities,
   From the fortress to the River,
   From sea to sea,
   And mountain to mountain.
   13Yet the land shall be desolate
   Because of those who dwell in it,
   And for the fruit of their deeds.

God Will Forgive Israel

  14Shepherd Your people with Your staff,
   The flock of Your heritage,
   Who dwell solitarily in a woodland,
   In the midst of Carmel;
   Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,
   As in days of old.
  15“As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt,
   I will show them wonders.”
  16The nations shall see and be ashamed of all their might;
   They shall put their hand over their mouth;
   Their ears shall be deaf.
   17They shall lick the dust like a serpent;
   They shall crawl from their holes like snakes of the earth.
   They shall be afraid of the Lord our God,
   And shall fear because of You.
  18Who is a God like You,
   Pardoning iniquity
   And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?
  He does not retain His anger forever,
   Because He delights inmercy.
   19He will again have compassion on us,
   And will subdue our iniquities.
  You will cast all our sins
   Into the depths of the sea.
   20You will give truth to Jacob
   And mercy to Abraham,
   Which You have sworn to our fathers
   From days of old.

Dũ náq miar ễ táq ranáq sâuq chóq sễm ai bữm. 3Alới khễuq lứq táq ranáq sâuq. Máh cũai sốt cớp máh cũai rasữq toar yoc ễ bữn práq chang. Máh cũai bữn chớc táq ntỡng tễ ramứh alới yoc ễ bữn; ngkíq alới pruam aloŏh ngê ễ táq. 4Dếh cũai o calữi tễ yớu cớp cũai tanoang hỡn tễ cũai canŏ́h, la ŏ́q kia riang nỡm sarlia sâng.
 Tangái Yiang Sursĩ ễ yỗn máh cũai proai roap tôt khoiq toâq chơ, ariang án khoiq catoaih atỡng na máh cũai tang bỗq án. Máh cũai tang bỗq ki la machớng cũai dốq kĩaq sadâu, alới bữn mpỗl atỡng khân bữn ranáq croŏq criat toâq. Ma sanua nâi, alới cỡt tỡ dáng ntrớu loâng.
5Chỗi noap parnai cũai ỡt cheq anhia, tỡ la noap santoiq yớu ca anhia ratoi lứq. Cóq anhia nhêng o tễ parnai anhia ễ pai, cớp noap santoiq lacuoi anhia. 6Bo nâi ơiq, con samiang tỡ bữn yám noap mpoaq án; con mansễm chíl loah mpiq án; cớp cumân chíl loah yacán án. Dếh cũai ỡt muoi dống sũ, la cỡt manoaq par‑ũal chóq manoaq.
7Ma tỗ cứq, cứq ngcuang Yiang Sursĩ toâq chuai. Cứq acoan cớp sa‑âm Yiang Sursĩ chuai amoong cứq. Yiang Sursĩ cứq sang, án ễ tamứng santoiq cứq câu sễq tễ án.

Yiang Sursĩ Dững Ŏ́c Chuai Amoong

8Chỗi yỗn tỗp par‑ũal hái bữn ca-iep cupriaq tỗp hái. Tỗp hái khoiq dớm, ma hái lứq yuor tayứng loah tamái. Sanua tỗp hái ỡt tâng ntốq canám, ma chumát Yiang Sursĩ yỗn hái ỡt tâng ntốq poang ễn. 9Tỗp hái khoiq táq lôih chóq Yiang Sursĩ; yuaq ngkíq, sanua nâi hái cóq chĩuq Yiang Sursĩ cutâu voai, toau toâq tangái án bễng chuai hái, cớp táq yỗn cũai pai tỡ o hái, cỡt pê parnai. Yiang Sursĩ ễ dững hái pỡq chu ntốq poang, cớp hái bữn hữm án chuai amoong hái. 10Chơ cũai par‑ũal hái lứq bữn hữm ŏ́c nâi, cớp alới sâng casiet táq. Dếh alới ca mumat tỗp hái neq: “Nléq Yiang Sursĩ anhia sang, sanua án ỡt léq?”
 Nỡ‑ra, hái lứq bữn hữm alới cỡt pê, pĩeiq noau tĩn sarúq asễng alới samoât noau tĩn talĩng tâng rana.
11Cũai proai tâng vil Yaru-salem ơi! Tangái anhia táq viang vil tamái cheq ễ toâq. Tâng tangái ki, cruang cutễq anhia cỡt la‑a hỡn ễn. 12Proai anhia bữn píh chu loah pỡ anhia; alới toâq tễ sa‑ữi ntốq: tễ cruang Asi-ria coah angia mandang loŏh, tễ cruang Ê-yip-tô coah angia pưn, tễ raloan crỗng Ơ-phơ-rat, tễ dỡq mưt, cớp tễ máh cóh ca yơng lứq. 13Ma cốc cutễq nâi lứq cỡt ntốq aiq, cỗ tian ranáq lôih cũai tâng ntốq ki táq.

Yiang Sursĩ Sâng Sarũiq Táq Tỗp I-sarel

14Ơ Yiang Sursĩ ơi! Sễq anhia rabán máh cũai proai anhia, la cũai anhia khoiq rưoh chơ, machớng cũai bán cữu kĩaq cữu toâq ralỡng án. Alới ỡt ống alới sâng tâng ntốq aiq, ma lavíng mpễr coah alới ki bữn cutễq phuor o. Sễq anhia yỗn alới pỡq chuaq cha tâng ruang bát cruang Basan cớp cruang Ki-liat, samoât alới cơi táq tễ dỡi mbŏ́q chơ.
15Ơ Yiang Sursĩ ơi! Sễq anhia táq ranáq salễh yỗn máh tỗp hếq nứng, ariang anhia khoiq táq bo anhia ayông tỗp hếq loŏh tễ cruang Ê-yip-tô. 16Chơ, máh cũai bữn hữm tễ máh ranáq salễh nâi; chơ alới cỡt casiet táq. Tam alới clứng lứq cớp bán rêng sa‑ữi, ma alới noâng sâng ngcŏh cớp dớt lứq. Ngkíq alới cubĩm bỗq cớp cupât chíq cutũr. 17Alới pỡq talor tâng cutễq samoât cusân, bo alới loŏh tễ ntốq parnoâng alới khâm lứq, dếh cangcoaih ngcŏh. Alới lứq ngcŏh Yiang Sursĩ, la Yiang tỗp hái sang.
18Ơ Yiang Sursĩ ơi! Lứq tỡ bữn yiang aléq ma samoât anhia; anhia táh lôih yỗn máh cũai proai anhia, la alới ca noâng khlâiq. Anhia tỡ bữn sâng cutâu níc, ma anhia sâng bũi pahỡm apáh ŏ́c ayooq anhia mantái níc yỗn tỗp hếq hữm. 19Nỡ‑ra, anhia ễ sarũiq táq tỗp hếq muoi trỗ ễn. Lứq ayững anhia toâp ễ tĩn sarúq máh lôih hếq táq, chơ sarpứt asễng lôih ki chu pưn dỡq mưt yarũ. 20Anhia ễ apáh ŏ́c tanoang tapứng cớp ŏ́c ayooq mantái níc yỗn cũai proai anhia, la tŏ́ng toiq A-praham cớp Yacốp, ariang anhia khoiq ữq cớp achúc achiac tỗp hếq tễ nhũang chơ.
