Conspiracy Against Nehemiah
1Now it happened ⚓when Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall, and that there were no breaks left in it ⚓(though at that time I had not hung the doors in the gates),
2that Sanballat and Geshem ⚓sent to me, saying, “Come, let us meet together among the villages in the plain of ⚓Ono.” But they ⚓thought to do me harm.
3So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”
4But they sent me this message four times, and I answered them in the same manner.
5Then Sanballat sent his servant to me as before, the fifth time, with an open letter in his hand.
6In it was written:
It is reported among the nations, and Geshem says, that you and the Jews plan to rebel; therefore, according to these rumors, you are rebuilding the wall, ⚓that you may be their king.
7And you have also appointed prophets to proclaim concerning you at Jerusalem, saying, “There is a king in Judah!” Now these matters will be reported to the king. So come, therefore, and let us consult together.
8Then I sent to him, saying, “No such things as you say are being done, but you invent them in your own heart.”
9For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, “Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.”
Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
10Afterward I came to the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was a secret informer; and he said, “Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us close the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you; indeed, at night they will come to kill you.”
11And I said, “Should such a man as I flee? And who is there such as I who would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in!”
12Then I perceived that God had not sent him at all, but that ⚓he pronounced this prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
13For this reason he was hired, that I should be afraid and act that way and sin, so that they might have cause for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
14⚓My God, remember Tobiah and Sanballat, according to these their works, and the ⚓prophetess Noadiah and the rest of the prophets who would have made me afraid.
The Wall Completed
15So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.
16And it happened, ⚓when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for ⚓they perceived that this work was done by our God.
17Also in those days the nobles of Judah sent many letters to Tobiah, and the letters of Tobiah came to them.
18For many in Judah were pledged to him, because he was the ⚓son-in-law of Shechaniah the son of Arah, and his son Jehohanan had married the daughter of ⚓Meshullam the son of Berechiah.
19Also they reported his good deeds before me, and reported my words to him. Tobiah sent letters to frighten me.

Phung Rlăng Nchră Ŭch Lơh Ma Y-Nêhêmi Nau Chroh Jêh Ri Nuih N'hâm Nâp Rjăp Păng
1Tơlah bu mbơh ma Y-Sanbalat, ma Y-Tôbia jêh ri ma Y-Gêsem, phung mpôl Arap, jêh ri ma phung rlăng hên êng, ma nau rdâk hŏ nkra jêh pêr ƀon, mâu hôm geh ntŭk djơh, ntŭk bluh ôh tâm pêr, nđâp tơlah dôl rnôk nây mpông gâp ê-hŏ ntrŭp ôh ta n'gâng pêr,
2pôri Y-Sanbalat jêh ri Y-Gesem, prơh bunuyh hăn tât mbơh ma gâp, "Văch hom, ăn he tâm mâp ndrel tâm du rplay ƀon ta nŭk Neh Lâng Ônô." Ƀiălah khân păng mĭn ŭch ƀư djơh gâp.
3Gâp prơh hăn phung bunuyh tât lah ma khân păng, "Gâp khan ƀư du ntil kan toyh, pônây gâp mâu dơi trŭnh hăn ôh. Di ngăn ƀư ăn lôch nau kan dôl chalơi păng gay hăn tâm mâp ma khân may?"
4Khân păng lah ma gâp puăn tơ̆ nâm bu nây lĕ; ƀiălah gâp plơ̆ lah ma khân păng tâm ban du nau dơm.
5Tơ̆ rơh prăm, Y-Sanbalat prơh oh mon păng hăn tât ma gâp mbơh tâm ban nau saơm nây lĕ, djôt leo sămƀŭt njuăl tâm ti păng;
6tâm sămƀŭt geh chih, lah: "Ta nklang phung ntil mpôl êng bu tăng lư jêh ri Y-Gesem lah tâm ban lĕ, lah ma nau nây, ma may jêh ri phung Yuda ŭch mĭn ma nau tâm rdâng; yor nau nây, ri dĭng may rdâk nkra jêh pêr ƀon toyh; jêh ri tĭng nâm nau bu nkoch nây, may ro yơh hao ƀư hađăch ma khân păng."
7Tâm ban nây lĕ may njêng jêh phung kôranh nơm mbơh lor gay mbơh nau di ma may tâm ƀon Yêrusalem.' Geh du huê hađăch tâm n'gor Yuda!' Aƀaơ ri bu mra nkoch mbơh nau ngơi aơ ma hađăch tâm ban lĕ. Pôri văch hom aƀaơ ri jêh ri ăn he tâm chră ndrel.
8Gâp prơh hăn bunuyh ma păng lah, "Mâu mâp geh ôh nâm bu lĕ nau may lah nây, yorlah may nklă êng sŏk tâm nau mĭn may nơm."
9Yorlah khân păng ŭch nhhu hên lĕ rngôch ăn geh klach-krit da dê, khân păng ntôn lah, "Ti khân păng mra chalơi, mâu hôm pah kan đŏng ôh." Pônây aƀaơ, Hơi Brah Ndu, ƀư katang hom ti gâp.
10Tơlah gâp lăp tâm ngih Y-Sêmay a, kon buklâu Y-Delaya, sau Y-Mêhêlabel, (nơm nây lĕ gŭ krap tanây), păng lah: "Ăn he tâm mâp ndrel hom tâm trôm ngih Brah Ndu, ta nklang ngih brah, jêh nây he ntĭl lơi mpông ngih brah; yorlah khân păng mra văch tât ŭch nkhĭt may; dôl bri măng phung nây ŭch nkhĭt may."
11Pôri gâp lah: "Du huê bunuyh nâm bu gâp mra klaih lĕ? Jêh ri moh ntil bunuyh nâm bu gâp dơi rêh lĕ? Gâp mâu lăp ôh."
12Gâp gĭt ro jêh ri mâu di ôh Brah Ndu prơh may hăn tât, yorlah may mbơh lor nây rdâng đah gâp; yorlah Y-Tôbia jêh ri Y-Sanbalat nkhôm may jêh.
13Yorlah ta nây, may lĕ geh prăk nkhôm gay ăn klach, nsŭk gâp ƀư tih, gay ma khân păng dơi sŭk nsôr ăn gâp geh nau djơh mhĭk, jêh ri ŭch mưch rmot ma gâp.
14Brah Ndu Kôranh Brah gâp! Kah gĭt hom ma Y-Tôbia jêh ri Y-Sanbalat, tĭng nâm nau bar hê khân păng ƀư jêh; jêh ri tâm ban lĕ ma H'Nôadia, kôranh nơm mbơh lor bu ur, jêh ri phung kôranh nơm mbơh lor êng ŭch nhhu ma gâp gay ăn gâp klach.
15Pôri, năng bar jê̆t ma prăm, khay Êlul, pêr ƀon toyh bu nkra lĕ lôch jêh, tâm prăm jê̆t ma bar nar.
16Tơlah phung rlăng hên gĭt nau nây, pôri lĕ ntil mpôl bunuyh êng gŭ jŭm hên geh nau klach, jêh ri geh nau rdja nuih n'hâm; yorlah khân păng gĭt saơ ma kan aơ dơi jêng yor tă Brah Ndu hên kơl.
17Rlau ma nây, tâm rnôk nây, geh phung ndrŏng n'gor Yuda njuăl âk sămƀŭt ma Y-Tôbia, jêh ri sămƀŭt Y-Tôbia njuăl ma khân păng.
18Yor tă phung Yuda geh âk bunuyh hŏ sơm du nau đah păng, yorlah păng jêng klay ma Y-Sêkania, kon buklâu Y-Ara; jêh ri kon buklâu păng Y-Jêhôhanan, hŏ nsông ur jêh đah kon bu ur Y-Mêsulam, jêng kon buklâu Y-Bêrêkia.
19Tâm ban lĕ, khân păng nkoch ngơi ndrel tanăp măt gâp; jêng nau kan ueh bơh păng jêh ri khân păng ntĭm tay ma păng ƀoi lĕ nau ngơi gâp. Bi ma Y-Tôbia njuăl sămƀŭt gay ăn gâp klach.
