Rejoicing in Answered Prayer
A Psalm of David.
1To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock:
⚓Do not be silent to me,
⚓Lest, if You are silent to me,
I become like those who go down to the pit.
2Hear the voice of my supplications
When I cry to You,
⚓When I lift up my hands ⚓toward Your holy sanctuary.
3Do not take me away with the wicked
And with the workers of iniquity,
⚓Who speak peace to their neighbors,
But evil is in their hearts.
4⚓Give them according to their deeds,
And according to the wickedness of their endeavors;
Give them according to the work of their hands;
Render to them what they deserve.
5Because ⚓they do not regard the works of the Lord,
Nor the operation of His hands,
He shall destroy them
And not build them up.
6Blessed be the Lord,
Because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
7The Lordis⚓my strength and my shield;
My heart ⚓trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.
8The Lordis their strength,
And He is the ⚓saving refuge of His anointed.
9Save Your people,
And bless ⚓Your inheritance;
Shepherd them also,
⚓And bear them up forever.

Thơ Đa-vít
1Con kêu cầu Chúa Hằng Hữu,
Là Vầng Đá, nơi con ẩn nấp
Xin Ngài đừng làm ngơ,
Nếu Chúa không chịu đáp,
Con tuyệt vọng như người xuống mộ sâu.
2Con đưa tay lên trời⚓ kêu xin cứu giúp,
Xin Chúa nghe lời cầu nguyện con.
3Xin đừng phạt con⚓ chung với kẻ ác,
Miệng lưỡi họ nghe thật ngọt ngào,
Nhưng lòng chỉ mưu hại người đồng loại.
4Xin Chúa phạt họ vì những việc gian ác,
Xin báo lại điều họ dã làm.
5Vì họ chẳng quan tâm đến công việc Chúa,
Chẳng chú ý đến công trình Ngài,
Nên họ sẽ bị Ngài tiêu diệt,
Chẳng bao giờ xây dựng họ lại.
6Hãy ca ngợi Chúa Hằng Hữu,
Vì Ngài đã nghe lời tôi nguyện cầu.
7Chúa là năng lực tôi, tấm khiên che chở,
Tôi tin cậy Ngài, nên được cứu giúp.
Lòng hoan hỉ, tôi hát cảm tạ Ngài.
8Chúa Hằng Hữu là năng lực của dân ta,
Là pháo đài giúp vua⚓ chiến thắng.
9Xin Chúa cứu nhân dân,
Ban phúc lành cho đồng bào,⚓
Xin chăn dắt, bồng bế họ mãi mãi.
