The Sealed of Israel
1After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, ⚓holding the four winds of the earth, ⚓that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.
2Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,
3saying, ⚓“Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God ⚓on their foreheads.”
4⚓And I heard the number of those who were sealed. ⚓One hundred and forty-four thousand ⚓of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:
5of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Manassehtwelve thousand were sealed;
7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed;
of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
A Multitude from the Great Tribulation
9After these things I looked, and behold, ⚓a great multitude which no one could number, ⚓of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, ⚓clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
10and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ⚓“Salvation belongs to our God ⚓who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
11⚓All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and ⚓worshiped God,
12⚓saying:
“Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom,
Thanksgiving and honor and power and might,
Be to our God forever and ever.
Amen.”
13Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in ⚓white robes, and where did they come from?”
14And I said to him, “Sir, you know.”
So he said to me, ⚓“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and ⚓washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will ⚓dwell among them.
16⚓They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; ⚓the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;
17for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne ⚓will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. ⚓And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

144.000 người trong dân Ít-ra-en
1Sau những việc ấy tôi thấy bốn thiên sứ đứng ở bốn góc trên đất. Các thiên sứ nắm bốn hướng gió lại không cho thổi trên đất, biển hoặc cây cối nữa.
2Rồi tôi thấy một thiên sứ khác từ phía Đông đi đến, trong tay có ấn của Thượng Đế hằng sống. Người kêu lớn cùng bốn thiên sứ đã được Thượng Đế trao quyền làm hại đất và biển
3rằng, “Đừng làm hại đất, biển và cây cối cho đến khi chúng ta đã đánh dấu xong trên trán những người phục vụ Thượng Đế chúng ta.”
4Rồi sau đó tôi nghe số người được đóng dấu. Tất cả các chi tộc Ít-ra-en có một trăm bốn mươi bốn ngàn người được đánh dấu.
5chi tộc Giu-đa mười hai ngàn người được đánh dấu,
chi tộc Ru-bên mười hai ngàn,
chi tộc Gát mười hai ngàn,
6chi tộc A-se mười hai ngàn,
chi tộc Náp-ta-li mười hai ngàn,
chi tộc Ma-na-xe mười hai ngàn,
7chi tộc Xi-mê-ôn mười hai ngàn,
chi tộc Lê-vi mười hai ngàn,
chi tộc Y-xa-ca mười hai ngàn,
8chi tộc Xê-bu-lôn mười hai ngàn,
chi tộc Giô-xép mười hai ngàn,
và chi tộc Bên-gia-min mười hai ngàn người được đánh dấu.
Đoàn người đông đảo thờ phụng
Thượng Đế
9Sau các việc ấy, tôi nhìn thì thấy một đoàn người vĩ đại, đông vô số, không thể đếm được. Họ từ mọi quốc gia, mọi chi tộc, mọi dân, mọi thứ tiếng trên thế giới. Tất cả đứng trước ngôi và Chiên Con, mặc áo trắng, tay cầm nhành chà là.
10Họ kêu lớn, “Sự cứu rỗi thuộc về Thượng Đế chúng ta, Đấng ngồi trên ngôi và về Chiên Con.”
11Tất cả các thiên sứ đứng quanh ngôi cùng các trưởng lão và các con vật. Ai nấy đều sấp mặt trước ngôi và bái lạy Thượng Đế
12kêu lên rằng, “A-men! Nguyện sự ca ngợi, vinh hiển, khôn ngoan, cảm tạ, danh dự, quyền lực thuộc về Thượng Đế đời đời. A-men!”
13Rồi một trong các trưởng lão hỏi tôi, “Những người mặc áo dài trắng đó là ai vậy? Họ từ đâu đến?”
14Tôi đáp, “Thưa ngài, ngài biết điều ấy.”
Trưởng lão nói với tôi, “Đó là những người đã thoát cơn khốn khổ lớn. Họ đã giặt áo⚓ mình và làm sạch trong huyết Chiên Con.”
15Nhờ đó họ được đứng trước ngôi Thượng Đế. Họ thờ phụng ngày và đêm trong đền thờ Ngài. Đấng ngồi trên ngôi sẽ ở với họ mãi mãi.
16Họ sẽ không còn đói hay khát nữa. Mặt trời cũng không làm hại họ, sức nóng cũng không làm phỏng họ.
17Vì Chiên Con ở giữa ngôi sẽ chăn dắt họ. Ngài sẽ dẫn họ đến suối nước sự sống. Thượng Đế sẽ lau hết nước mắt khỏi họ.
