The Law Concerning Vows
1Then Moses spoke to ⚓the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the Lord has commanded:
2⚓If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or ⚓swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word; he shall ⚓do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
3“Or if a woman makes a vow to the Lord, and binds herself by some agreement while in her father’s house in her youth,
4and her father hears her vow and the agreement by which she has bound herself, and her father holds his peace, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement with which she has bound herself shall stand.
5But if her father overrules her on the day that he hears, then none of her vows nor her agreements by which she has bound herself shall stand; and the Lord will release her, because her father overruled her.
6“If indeed she takes a husband, while bound by her vows or by a rash utterance from her lips by which she bound herself,
7and her husband hears it, and makes no response to her on the day that he hears, then her vows shall stand, and her agreements by which she bound herself shall stand.
8But if her husband ⚓overrules her on the day that he hears it, he shall make void her vow which she took and what she uttered with her lips, by which she bound herself, and the Lord will release her.
9“Also any vow of a widow or a divorced woman, by which she has bound herself, shall stand against her.
10“If she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound herself by an agreement with an oath,
11and her husband heard it, and made no response to her and did not overrule her, then all her vows shall stand, and every agreement by which she bound herself shall stand.
12But if her husband truly made them void on the day he heard them, then whatever proceeded from her lips concerning her vows or concerning the agreement binding her, it shall not stand; her husband has made them void, and the Lord will release her.
13Every vow and every binding oath to afflict her soul, her husband may confirm it, or her husband may make it void.
14Now if her husband makes no response whatever to her from day to day, then he confirms all her vows or all the agreements that bind her; he confirms them, because he made no response to her on the day that he heard them.
15But if he does make them void after he has heard them, then he shall bear her guilt.”
16These are the statutes which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, and between a father and his daughter in her youth in her father’s house.

5jêh ri mbơ̆ păng tăng jêh nau păng ton, ndơ păng ton tâm nkol jêh ma păng nơm, jêh ri mbơ̆ păng mâu ngơi ôh ma păng; pô ri lĕ rngôch nau păng ton mra hôm e, jêh ri lĕ rngôch ndơ păng ton tâm nkol jêh ma păng nơm mra hôm e.
6Ƀiălah tơ lah mbơ̆ păng tâm mpơl nau păng mâu dơn ta nar păng tăng nau nây, nau păng ton jêh, jêh ri ndơ păng ton tâm nkol jêh ma păng nơm mâu mra hôm e ôh. Yêhôva mra yô̆ an ma păng, yorlah mbơ̆ păng dun jêh ma păng.
7Tơlah bu ur nây gŭ sai jêh, dôl păng geh nau ton mâu lah ma nau ngơi mâu mĭn luh tă trôm mbung păng, ma nau nây păng tâm nkol jêh păng nơm,
8jêh ri tơ lah sai păng tăng nau nây, jêh ri tơ lah ôbăl mâu ngơi ôh ma păng ta nar ôbăl tăng nau nây; pô nây nau păng ton jêh mra hôm e, jêh ri ndơ păng ton tâm nkol jêh ma păng nơm mra hôm e.
9Ƀiălah tơ lah ta nar sai păng tăng nau nây ôbăl tâm mpơh nau mâu dơn, pôri ôbăl mra ngroh lơi nau păng ton jêh, jêh ri nau păng ngơi mâu mĭn tă bơh trôm mbung păng, ma nau nây păng geh nau tâm nkol jêh păng nơm; jêh ri Yêhôva mra yô̆ ma păng.
10Ƀiălah nau ton du huê bu ur ndrô khĭt sai mâu lah du huê bu ur bu chalơi jêh, moh nau păng tâm nkol jêh păng nơm mra hôm e.
11Tơ lah păng ƀư nau ton tâm ngih sai păng, mâu lah tâm nkol ma păng nơm ma ndơ ton ndrel ma nau ton săk,
12jêh ri sai păng tăng nau nây jêh ri mâu ngơi ôh ma păng, jêh ri mâu dun ôh ma păng; pô ri lĕ rngôch nau păng lĕ ton jêh mra hôm e, jêh ri lĕ rngôch ndơ ton păng tâm nkol jêh păng nơm mra hôm e.
13Ƀiălah tơlah sai păng ngroh lơi nau nây nar ôbăl tăng, pô ri lĕ rngôch nau păng ngơi di ma nau păng ton mâu lah di ma ndơ păng ton mâu mra hôm e ôh; sai păng ngroh jêh nau nây, jêh ri Yêhôva mra yô̆ an ma păng.
14Sai păng dơi ƀư nâp mâu lah ngroh lĕ rngôch nau păng ton jêh ri lĕ rngôch nau păng ton tâm nkol ƀư rêh ni huêng păng nơm.
15Ƀiălah tơlah sai păng mâu ngơi ma păng ăp nar pô nây, ôbăl ƀư nâp lĕ rngôch nau păng ton jêh mâu lah lĕ rngôch ndơ ton păng ƀư jêh. Obăl ƀư nâp jêh nau nây, yorlah ôbăl mâu ngơi ôh ma păng ta nar ôbăl tăng nau nây.
16Ƀiălah tơ lah ôbăl ngroh nau nây jêh ôbăl tăng, pôri ôbăl mra anh nau kue păng."
17Nây nau vay Yêhôva ntĭnh jêh ma Y-Môis nâm bu nau ndrăng ur sai, jêh ri ndrăng mbơ̆ đah kon bu ur păng dơl ôbăl gŭ druh mom tâm ngih mbơ̆ păng.
