1 Kế ấy, Môi-se từ đồng bằng Mô-áp lên trên núi Nê-bô, nơi đỉnh Phích-ga, đối ngang Giê-ri-cô; rồi Đức Giê-hô-va cho người xem toàn xứ tự Ga-la-át chí Đan; 2 toàn Nép-ta-li, xứ Ép-ra-im và Ma-na-se, cả xứ Giu-đa cho đến biển tây, 3 miền Nam, đồng bằng, sông Giô-đanh và trũng Giê-ri-cô, thành cây chà là, cho đến Xoa. 4 Đức Giê-hô-va phán cùng người rằng: Đó là xứ mà ta đã thề ban cho Áp-ra-ham, Y-sác và Gia-cốp, mà rằng: Ta sẽ ban xứ ấy cho dòng giống ngươi. Ta cho tự mắt ngươi xem xứ ấy, nhưng ngươi không vào đó được.⚓ 5 Môi-se, tôi tớ của Đức Giê-hô-va, qua đời tại đó, trong đồng bằng Mô-áp theo như lịnh của Đức Giê-hô-va. 6 Đức Chúa Trời bèn chôn người trong trũng tại xứ Mô-áp, đối ngang Bết-Phê-o; cho đến ngày nay không có ai biết được mộ của người. 7 Vả, khi Môi-se qua đời, tuổi được một trăm hai mươi; mắt người không làng, sức người không giảm. 8 Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên khóc Môi-se trong ba mươi ngày tại đồng bằng Mô-áp. Những ngày khóc và ngày chịu tang cho Môi-se đã xong rồi là như vậy. 9 Giô-suê, con trai của Nun, được đầy dẫy thần khôn ngoan, vì Môi-se đã đặt tay mình trên người; dân Y-sơ-ra-ên bèn vâng lời người và làm theo điều Đức Giê-hô-va đã phán dặn Môi-se. 10 Về sau, trong Y-sơ-ra-ên không còn dấy lên tiên tri nào giống như Môi-se, mà Đức Giê-hô-va biết giáp mặt.⚓11 Không có ai bằng người, hoặc về các dấu kỳ, phép lạ mà Đức Giê-hô-va sai người làm tại trong xứ Ê-díp-tô, trước mặt Pha-ra-ôn, các quần thần, và cả xứ của người; 12 hoặc hết thảy công việc lớn lao và đáng sợ mà Môi-se cậy tay quyền năng mình làm tại trước mặt cả Y-sơ-ra-ên.

Moses Dies on Mount Nebo
1Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to ⚓Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan, 2all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea, 3the South, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, ⚓the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. 4Then the Lord said to him, ⚓“This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ ⚓I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.” 5⚓So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but ⚓no one knows his grave to this day. 7⚓Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. ⚓His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished. 8And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab ⚓thirty days. So the days of weeping and mourning for Moses ended. 9Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the ⚓spirit of wisdom, for ⚓Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses. 10But since then there ⚓has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses, ⚓whom the Lord knew face to face, 11in all ⚓the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land, 12and by all that mighty power and all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.
