1Therefore, ⚓laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking,
2⚓as newborn babes, desire the pure ⚓milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
3if indeed you have ⚓tasted that the Lord is gracious.
The Chosen Stone and His Chosen People
4Coming to Him as to a living stone, ⚓rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,
5you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
⚓“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
7Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,
⚓“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”
8and
⚓“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”
⚓They stumble, being disobedient to the word, ⚓to which they also were appointed.
9But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of ⚓darkness into His marvelous light;
10⚓who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Living Before the World
11Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts ⚓which war against the soul,
12⚓having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, ⚓they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
Submission to Government
13⚓Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme,
14or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good.
15For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men—
16⚓as free, yet not ⚓using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
17Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear ⚓God. Honor the king.
Submission to Masters
18⚓Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh.
19For this is⚓commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.
20For ⚓what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.
21For ⚓to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, ⚓leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:
22“Who ⚓committed no sin,
Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
23⚓who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but ⚓committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
24⚓who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, ⚓that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—⚓by whose stripes you were healed.
25For ⚓you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned ⚓to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

2ăn khân may rŏng ma dak toh brah jêh ri kloh nâm bu kon se mhe deh, gay ma ndơ nĕ khân may văch ma toyh ma nau tâm rklaih,
3tơlah khân may chiăm ăn gĭt Kôranh Brah jêng ueh.
4Hăn hom khân may dăch ta păng, nơm jêng lŭ rêh, bu klŭp lơi jêh, ƀiălah Brah Ndu săch, jêh ri jêng khlay ta năp păng,
5jêh ri khân may nơm jêng nâm bu lŭ rêh. Rdâk hom khân may gay njêng du mlâm ngih brah, jêng phung kôranh ƀư brah kloh ueh, gay nhơr ndơ ƀư brah, ƀư maak ma Brah Ndu ma Yêsu Krist.
6Yorlah geh nau nchih jêh nâm pô aơ:
"Aơ, gâp dơm ta Siôn du mlâm lŭ njônh, gâp săch jêh ri khlay,
Jêh ri mbu nơm chroh ma păng nĕ, mâu mra bêk ôh."
7Nâm nđĕ ma khân may, phung chroh jêh, păng jêng khlay, ƀiălah ma phung mâu chroh.
"Lŭ phung ƀư ngih mƀăr lơi jêh, păng jêng lŭ tơm ta njônh".
8Jêh ri, "Păng jêng lŭ chêh bu, jêh ri lŭ toyh ƀư prah bu. "Khân păng prah tom lŭ nĕ yorlah khân păng mâu tông ma nau ngơi, jêh ri nau nĕ prăp jêh ma khân păng.
9Ƀiălah khân may jêng phung Brah Ndu săch jêh, phung kôranh ƀư brah ma hđăch, phung mpôl kloh ueh phung ƀon lan jêng jêh ndơ Brah Ndu ŭch, gay ma khân may mbơh nau ueh nơm kuăl khân may bơh nau ngo tât ta nau ang khlay păng.
10Khân may kăl e mâu jêng du phung ƀon lan ôh, ƀiălah aƀaơ jêng phung ƀon lan Brah Ndu, kăl e ri mâu mâp geh nau yô̆ ma khân may ôh, ƀiălah aƀaơ geh jêh nau yô̆ ma khân may.
Nau Nti Êng Êng
11Hơi phung gâp rŏng, khân may jêng nâm bu phung bu năch jêh ri phung gŭ njưh ƀâtlât tâm neh ntu, gâp vơh vơl ma khân may ăn khân may dun ma nau nglay săk kơnh, yorlah păng tâm lơh đah huêng khân may.
12Ăn khân may gŭ ngao krao sach ueh tâm nklang phung bu năch, ŭch ma tơlah khân păng nchơt khân may jêng bunuyh mhĭk, khân păng mra saơ kan ueh khân may ƀư, jêh ri rnê ma Brah Ndu tâm nar Păng mra văch.
13Yor Kôranh Brah ăn khân may tông lĕ nau vay bunuyh nkra jêh, ma hđăch toyh lơn,
14Mâu lah ma kôranh toyh jêng oh mon ma hđăch, gay ma tâm rmal phung mhĭk jêh ri tâm rnê ma phung ueh.
15Yorlah pô aơ nau Brah Ndu ŭch, ma nau khân may ƀư ueh khân may mra ăn phung rluk mâl gŭ rklăk.
16Khân may jêng bunuyh kon me, mâu dŏng ôh nau kon me jêng bok nkŭm nau tih mhĭk, ƀiălah ăn khân may ƀư nâm bu phung oh mon ma Brah Ndu.
17Ăn khân may yơk ma lĕ rngôch bunuyh. Rŏng ma phung oh nâu. Yơk jêh ri klach ma Brah Ndu. Yơk ma hđăch.
18Hơi phung oh mon ma lĕ nau klach, ăn khân may tông ma phung kôranh khân ay may, mâu di ôh knŏng ma phung kôranh ueh jêh ri rdơ̆, ƀiălah nđâp ma phung kôranh geh nau mĭn mhĭk tâm ban lĕ.
19Tơlah knŏng ma nuih n'hâm sŏng ta năp Brah Ndu mra dơn nau rêh ni mâu di lah bơh nau tih păng ƀư, nau nĕ jêng nau ueh uĭn.
20Yorlah moh nau tâm rnê dơi geh tơlah srôih dơn nau bu dong yor nau ƀư tih? Ƀiălah tơlah khân may srôih dơn nau rêh ni yor ƀư ueh, nau nĕ jêng nau ueh uĭn ta năp Brah Ndu.
21Jêh ri ma nau nĕ Brah Ndu kuăl jêh khân may, yorlah Brah Krist dơn jêh nau rêh ni ma khân may gay ăn ma khân may du nau tâm ntĭt, gay ma khân may kơt têl păng.
22"Păng mâu mâp ƀư tih ôh, jêh ri tâm trôm mbung păng mâu mâp saơ nau mƀruh lĕ."
23Bu rtăp rak ma păng, păng mâu rtăp rak ma bu ôh; bu ƀư mhĭk ma păng, păng mâu thăm rmat ma bu ôh; ƀiălah păng jao nau păng ma nơm phat dôih sŏng.
24Păng djôt nau tih he tâm săk jăn păng nơm ta klơ tơm si, gay ma he, phung khĭt jêh ma nau tih, mra rêh ma nau sŏng. Jêh ri ma sôt rmanh păng, khân may bah jêh.
25Yorlah khân may jêng nâm bu kon biăp nkhah du ƀiălah aƀaơ khân may plơ̆ sĭt jêh ma rmăk biăp jêh ri ma nơm chiă huêng khân may.
