1The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were⚓in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin,
2to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of ⚓Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, ⚓in the thirteenth year of his reign.
3It came also in the days of ⚓Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, ⚓until the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, ⚓until the carrying away of Jerusalem captive ⚓in the fifth month.
The Prophet Is Called
4Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
5“Before I ⚓formed you in the womb ⚓I knew you;
Before you were born I ⚓sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
6Then said I:
⚓“Ah, Lord God!
Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”
7But the Lord said to me:
“Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’
For you shall go to all to whom I send you,
And ⚓whatever I command you, you shall speak.
8⚓Do not be afraid of their faces,
For ⚓I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.
9Then the Lord put forth His hand and ⚓touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me:
“Behold, I have ⚓put My words in your mouth.
10⚓See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To ⚓root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.”
11Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”
And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.”
12Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”
13And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?”
And I said, “I see ⚓a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.”
14Then the Lord said to me:
“Out of the ⚓north calamity shall break forth
On all the inhabitants of the land.
15For behold, I am ⚓calling
All the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the Lord;
“They shall come and ⚓each one set his throne
At the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem,
Against all its walls all around,
And against all the cities of Judah.
16I will utter My judgments
Against them concerning all their wickedness,
Because ⚓they have forsaken Me,
Burned ⚓incense to other gods,
And worshiped the works of their own ⚓hands.
17“Therefore ⚓prepare yourself and arise,
And speak to them all that I command you.
⚓Do not be dismayed before their faces,
Lest I dismay you before them.
18For behold, I have made you this day
⚓A fortified city and an iron pillar,
And bronze walls against the whole land—
Against the kings of Judah,
Against its princes,
Against its priests,
And against the people of the land.
19They will fight against you,
But they shall not prevail against you.
For I am with you,” says the Lord, “to deliver you.”

Arô Cớp Patâp Yê-ramia
1Nâi la máh santoiq Yê-ramia con samiang Hil-kia khoiq pai. Hil-kia la muoi noaq tễ tỗp tễng rit sang tâng vil Ana-thôt, cruang Ben-yamin.
2Yiang Sursĩ atỡng Yê-ramia tâng cumo muoi chít la pái bo Yô-sia, con samiang Amon, cỡt puo cruang Yuda.
3Yiang Sursĩ atỡng sĩa Yê-ramia bo Yê-hôi-akim con samiang Yô-sia cỡt puo cruang Yuda. Vớt ki, Yiang Sursĩ atỡng Yê-ramia sa‑ữi trỗ ễn toau toâq cumo muoi chít la muoi bo Sê-dakia con samiang Yô-sia cỡt puo. Tâng casâi sỡng cumo ki, noau cỗp máh cũai proai tâng vil Yaru-salem cớp dững chu cruang canŏ́h.
Yiang Sursĩ Rưoh Yê-ramia
4Yiang Sursĩ pai chóq cứq neq:
5“Cứq khoiq dáng mới nhũang cứq tỡ yũah tễng tỗ mới tâng púng mpiq; cớp nhũang mpiq mới sễt mới, cứq khoiq rưoh mới chơ dŏq mới atỡng parnai cứq yỗn máh cruang cũai dáng tê.”
6Cứq ta‑ỡi neq: “Ơ Yiang Sursĩ Ncháu Nheq Tữh Cũai ơi! Cứq tỡ dáng nŏ́q ễ pai chóq máh cũai, yuaq cứq noâng póng.”
7Ma Yiang Sursĩ pai chóq cứq neq: “Mới chỗi pai mới noâng póng, ma cóq mới pỡq chu máh cũai cứq ớn mới pỡq ramóh, cớp atỡng alới tễ dũ ŏ́c cứq ớn mới atỡng.
8Chỗi ngcŏh tỗp alới, yuaq cứq ỡt níc cớp mới cớp chuai mới. Cứq Yiang Sursĩ toâp pai máh ŏ́c nâi!”
9Chơ Yiang Sursĩ aloŏh atĩ satoaq tâng bỗq cứq, cớp atỡng cứq neq: “Nhêng! Cứq ntôm ĩt máh santoiq cứq, chóq tâng bỗq mới dŏq mới têq pai.
10Tâng tangái nâi cứq yỗn mới nhêng salĩq máh cũai proai cớp máh cruang cutễq; cóq mới pũiq rêh, talốh táh, cớp pupứt; chơ cóq mới táq loah tamái cớp chóh loah ễn.”
11Yiang Sursĩ blớh cứq neq: “Yê-ramia ơi! Mới hữm ntrớu noâq?”
Cứq ta‑ỡi neq: “Cứq hữm muoi abễng aluang al-mon.”
12Yiang Sursĩ pai chóq cứq neq: “Mới hữm pĩeiq lứq, yuaq cứq ỡt kĩaq nhêng máh santoiq cứq pai yỗn cỡt moâm.”⚓
13Chơ Yiang Sursĩ blớh cứq ễn neq: “Mới hữm acán ntrớu noâq?”
Cứq ta‑ỡi: “Cứq hữm muoi bễng adéh ntôm sarloac ỡt coah angia pỡng; mŏ adéh ki to moat chu nâi.”
14Yiang Sursĩ atỡng cứq neq: “Máh ranáq rúng pứt cheq ễ toâq tễ angia pỡng pỡ máh cũai tâng cruang nâi, ariang dỡq sarloac loŏh tễ adéh.
15Yuaq cứq ễ arô máh tỗp cũai tễ angia pỡng yỗn toâq. Máh puo alới ễ toâq cớp alới miar achúh cachơng puo tacu bân ngoah toong vil Yaru-salem; alới crŏ́q lavíng viang vil nâi, dếh máh vil canŏ́h hỡ tâng cruang Yuda.
16Chơ cứq manrap máh cũai proai cứq, cỗ tian ranáq lôih tỗp alới táq, yuaq alới khoiq calỡih cứq cớp bốh crơng chiau sang yỗn yiang canŏ́h, dếh táq rup cớp cucốh sang.
17Ơ Yê-ramia ơi! Cóq mới thrũan cớp pỡq atỡng dũ náq alới sâng tễ santoiq cứq ớn mới pai. Chỗi ngcŏh! Khân mới sâng ngcŏh, cứq táq yỗn mới cỡt ngcŏh lứq ễn toâq mới ỡt cớp tỗp alới.
18-19Ơ Yê-ramia ơi, cóq mới tamứng! Dũ náq cũai tâng cruang nâi, la máh puo, máh cũai sốt, máh cũai tễng rit sang, cớp máh cũai proai, nheq náq alới ễ chíl mới. Ma tangái nâi cứq yỗn mới bữn bán rêng dŏq mới riap to táng tỗp alới; mới la samoât vil bữn viang khâm, bữn tanũl tac, cớp bữn viang sapoan. Tỗp alới tỡ riap chíl mới, yuaq cứq toâp bán curiaq mới. Cứq Yiang Sursĩ toâp pai máh ŏ́c nâi.”
