The Kings Conquered by Moses
1These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, ⚓from the River Arnon ⚓to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain:
2One king was⚓Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites,
3and ⚓the eastern Jordan plain from the Sea of Chinneroth as far as the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), ⚓the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and southward below ⚓the slopes of Pisgah.
4The other king was⚓Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of ⚓the remnant of the giants, ⚓who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5and reigned over ⚓Mount Hermon, ⚓over Salcah, over all Bashan, ⚓as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6⚓These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and ⚓Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.
The Kings Conquered by Joshua
7And these are the kings of the country ⚓which Joshua and the children of Israel conquered on this side of the Jordan, on the west, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon as far as Mount Halak and the ascent to ⚓Seir, which Joshua ⚓gave to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their divisions,
8⚓in the mountain country, in the lowlands, in the Jordan plain, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the South—⚓the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
9⚓the king of Jericho, one; ⚓the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;
10⚓the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
11the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
12the king of Eglon, one; ⚓the king of Gezer, one;
13⚓the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
14the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
15⚓the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
16⚓the king of Makkedah, one; ⚓the king of Bethel, one;
17the king of Tappuah, one; ⚓the king of Hepher, one;
18the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;
19the king of Madon, one; ⚓the king of Hazor, one;
20the king of ⚓Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;
21the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
22⚓the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;
23the king of Dor in the ⚓heights of Dor, one; the king of ⚓the people of Gilgal, one;
24the king of Tirzah, one—⚓all the kings, thirty-one.

1Đây là danh sách các vua phía đông sông Giô-đan bị người Y-sơ-ra-ên đánh bại và lãnh thổ của họ đã bị Y-sơ-ra-ên chiếm hữu. Đất của họ chạy dài từ thung lũng sông Ạt-nôn đến núi Hẹt-môn, gồm cả các đồng bằng miền Đông.
2Si-hôn vua người A-mo, đóng đô ở Hết-bôn, cai trị một vùng từ thành A-rô-e bên bờ sông Ạt-nôn, và từ giữa thung lũng này cho đến sông Gia-bộc, (biên giới của đất Am-môn), gồm phân nửa đất Ga-la-át.
3Đất vua này còn gồm các đồng bằng miền Đông, từ bờ phiá đông biển Ki-nê-rốt chạy cho đến Biển Mặn (đường đi về Bết-giê-si-mốt) và triền núi Phích-ga về phía nam.
4Óc vua Ba-san (người khổng lồ còn sót lại) đóng đô ở Ách-ta-rốt Ết-rê-i,
5cai trị vùng núi Hẹt-môn, vùng Sanh-ca, toàn đất Ba-san (giáp giới với đất của người Ghê-sua và người Ma-ca) và phân nửa đất Ga-la-át (giáp giới với đất của Si-hôn vua Hết-bôn).
6Các vua trên bị người Y-sơ-ra-ên đánh bại dưới thời Mai-sen. Mai-sen, tôi tớ của Chúa lấy phần đất này chia cho đại tộc Ru-bên, đại tộc Gát và phân nửa đại tộc Ma-na-se.
7Và đây là danh sách các vua phía tây sông Giô-đan bị Giô-suê và người Y-sơ-ra-ên đánh bại. (Đất của họ chạy dài từ Ba-anh Gát trong thung lũng Li-ban cho đến núi Ha-lác ngang núi Sê-i-rơ. Đất này được Giô-suê đem chia cho các đại tộc còn lại,
8gồm cả vùng cao nguvên, thung lũng, đồng bằng, triền núi, sa mạc và miền Nam. Đó là đất của người Hê-tít, A-mo, Ca-na-an, Phê-rết, Hê-vít và Giê-bu):
9Vua Giê-ri-cô, vua A-hi gần Bê-tên,
10vua Giê-ru-sa-lem, vua Hếp-rôn,
11vua Giạt-mút, vua La-ki,
12vua Éc-lôn, vua Ghê-xe,
13vua Đê-bia, vua Ghê-đe,
14vua Họt-ma, vua A-rát,
15vua Líp-na, vua A-đu-lam,
16vua Ma-kê-đa, vua Bê-tên
17vua Tháp-bu-ách, vua Hê-phe,
18vua A-phéc, vua La-sa-rôn,
19vua Ma-đôn, vua Hát-so,
20vua Sim-rôn-Mê-rôn, vua Ạc-sáp.
21vua Tha-a-nác, vua Mê-ghi-đô,
22vua Kê-đe, vua Giốc-nê-am ở Cát-mên,
23vua Đô-rơ ở Na-phát-đo, vua Gô-im ở Ghinh ganh,
24và vua Thiệt-sa. Tổng cộng ba mươi mốt vua.
