The Kings Conquered by Moses
1These are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel defeated, and whose land they possessed on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun, ⚓from the River Arnon ⚓to Mount Hermon, and all the eastern Jordan plain:
2One king was⚓Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled half of Gilead, from Aroer, which is on the bank of the River Arnon, from the middle of that river, even as far as the River Jabbok, which is the border of the Ammonites,
3and ⚓the eastern Jordan plain from the Sea of Chinneroth as far as the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), ⚓the road to Beth Jeshimoth, and southward below ⚓the slopes of Pisgah.
4The other king was⚓Og king of Bashan and his territory, who was of ⚓the remnant of the giants, ⚓who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,
5and reigned over ⚓Mount Hermon, ⚓over Salcah, over all Bashan, ⚓as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and over half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.
6⚓These Moses the servant of the Lord and the children of Israel had conquered; and ⚓Moses the servant of the Lord had given it as a possession to the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh.
The Kings Conquered by Joshua
7And these are the kings of the country ⚓which Joshua and the children of Israel conquered on this side of the Jordan, on the west, from Baal Gad in the Valley of Lebanon as far as Mount Halak and the ascent to ⚓Seir, which Joshua ⚓gave to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their divisions,
8⚓in the mountain country, in the lowlands, in the Jordan plain, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the South—⚓the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:
9⚓the king of Jericho, one; ⚓the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;
10⚓the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;
11the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;
12the king of Eglon, one; ⚓the king of Gezer, one;
13⚓the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;
14the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
15⚓the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;
16⚓the king of Makkedah, one; ⚓the king of Bethel, one;
17the king of Tappuah, one; ⚓the king of Hepher, one;
18the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;
19the king of Madon, one; ⚓the king of Hazor, one;
20the king of ⚓Shimron Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;
21the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;
22⚓the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;
23the king of Dor in the ⚓heights of Dor, one; the king of ⚓the people of Gilgal, one;
24the king of Tirzah, one—⚓all the kings, thirty-one.

Ít-ra-en đánh bại
1Dân Ít-ra-en kiểm soát vùng đất phía đông sông Giô-đanh từ suối Ạc-nôn cho đến núi Hẹt-môn và toàn vùng đất dọc theo phía đông sông Giô-đanh. Những vùng đất nầy thuộc về các vua mà dân Ít-ra-en đã đánh bại.
2Xi-hôn, vua dân A-mô-rít cư ngụ trong thành Hết-bôn và cai trị dải đất từ A-rô-e nơi suối Ạc-nôn cho đến sông Gia-bốc. Đất của vua Xi-hôn bắt đầu từ giữa suối, tức ranh giới với dân Am-môn. Xi-hôn cai trị hơn phân nửa đất Ghi-lê-át
3và lấn qua phía đông Thung lũng sông Giô-đanh từ hồ Ga-li-lê cho đến Biển Chết. Ông cai trị từ Bết Giê-si-mốt về phía nam cho đến các sườn đồi Phích-ga.
4Óc, vua của Ba-san là một trong những vị vua cuối cùng của dân Rê-phai. Vua cai trị vùng đất từ Ách-ta-rốt và Ết-rê-i.
5Ông cũng cai trị vùng núi Hẹt-môn, Xa-lê-ca và toàn vùng Ba-san cho đến khu vực dân Ghê-su-rơ và Ma-a-ca sinh sống. Vua Óc cũng cai trị phần nửa đất Ghi-lê-át đến ranh giới của Xi-hôn, vua Hết-bôn.
6Mô-se, tôi tớ của Chúa, cùng dân Ít-ra-en đánh bại các vua nầy, rồi Mô-se cấp phần đất đó cho các chi tộc Ru-bên, Gát và Ma-na-xe phía đông làm sản nghiệp.
7Giô-suê và dân Ít-ra-en cũng đánh thắng các vua thuộc miền đất phía tây sông Giô-đanh. Ông cho dân chúng dải đất đó và phân chia lãnh thổ cho mười hai chi tộc làm sản nghiệp. Lãnh thổ đó nằm giữa Ba-anh Gát trong Thung Lũng Li-băng và núi Ha-lác gần Ê-đôm.
8Xứ đó gồm các núi và đồi phía tây, Thung Lũng sông Giô-đanh, vùng sườn đồi, vùng sa mạc và vùng nam Ca-na-an. Đó cũng là vùng đất mà dân Hê-tít, dân A-mô-rít, dân Ca-na-an, dân Phê-ri-xít, dân Hê-vít và dân Giê-bu-xít cư ngụ. Dân Ít-ra-en đánh bại vua của các thành sau đây:
9Giê-ri-cô, A-hi (gần Bê-tên),
10Giê-ru-sa-lem, Hếp-rôn,
11Giạt-mút, La-kích,
12Éc-lôn, Ghê-xe,
13Đê-bia, Ghê-đe,
14Họt-ma, A-rát,
15Líp-na, A-đu-lam,
16Ma-đê-ca, Bê-tên,
17Táp-bu-a, Hê-phe,
18A-phéc, La-sa-rôn,
19Ma-đôn, Hát-xo,
20Sim-rôn Mê-rôn, Ạc-sáp,
21Ta A-nác, Mê-ghi-đô,
22Kê-đe, Giốc-nam ở Cạt-mên,
23Đô-rơ (ở Na-phốt Đô-rơ), Gô-dim ở Ghinh-ganh và
