A Call to Repentance
1Come,⚓ and let us return to the Lord;
For ⚓He has torn, but ⚓He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2⚓After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3⚓Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established ⚓as the morning;
⚓He will come to us ⚓like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
Impenitence of Israel and Judah
4“O Ephraim, what shall I do to you?
O Judah, what shall I do to you?
For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud,
And like the early dew it goes away.
5Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets,
I have slain them by ⚓the words of My mouth;
And your judgments are like light that goes forth.
6For I desire ⚓mercy and ⚓not sacrifice,
And the ⚓knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7“But like men they transgressed the covenant;
There they dealt treacherously with Me.
8⚓Gilead is a city of evildoers
And defiled with blood.
9As bands of robbers lie in wait for a man,
So the company of ⚓priests ⚓murder on the way to Shechem;
Surely they commit ⚓lewdness.
10I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Israel:
There is the harlotry of Ephraim;
Israel is defiled.
11Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you,
When I return the captives of My people.

4Ma Yiang Sursĩ pai neq: “Ơ tỗp I-sarel cớp tỗp Yuda ơi! Nŏ́q cứq ễ táq chóq anhia? Anhia ayooq cứq mahỗi lứq, ariang talúc tỡ la dỡq latac pứt chái lứq tâng tarưp.
5Yuaq ngkíq, cứq ớn cũai tang bỗq cứq toâq rablớh cớp dững atoâq ranáq rúng pứt pỡ tỗp anhia. Máh ranáq cứq yoc ễ bữn tễ anhia la anhia têq hữm raloaih cớp anhia têq dáng samoât lứq neq:
6Cứq yoc anhia manoaq ayooq táq manoaq hỡn tễ cứq yoc anhia dững máh charán chiau sang yỗn cứq. Cứq ễq cũai proai cứq dáng cứq, hỡn tễ cứq yoc alới bốh máh crơng chiau sang yỗn cứq.
7“Ma tữ tỗp alới ỡt tâng ntốq ramứh Adam, alới hưoc táh nheq máh santoiq cứq khoiq parkhán cớp alới.
8Tâng vil Ki-liat bữn moang cũai tachoât cớp cũai cachĩt cũai canŏ́h.
9Tỗp tễng rit sang cỡt samoât cũai savễng ỡt crŏ́q tâng rana. Dếh tâng rana pỡq chu vil Se-kem hỡ,⚓ alới cachĩt cũai. Alới yoc lứq táq máh ranáq sâuq.
10Cứq khoiq hữm muoi ranáq liaq o ễ ngcŏh tâng tỗp I-sarel; máh cũai proai cứq khoiq cỡt nhơp cỗ alới cucốh sang máh rup yiang canŏ́h.
11“Ma anhia tỗp Yuda ễn, cứq khoiq anoat tangái ễ manrap anhia, la cỗ tian máh ranáq anhia táq sanua.
