Hành trình của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên từ Ai Cập đến đồng bằng Mô-áp
1Đây là các cuộc hành trình của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên khi họ ra khỏi xứ Ai Cập theo từng đội ngũ, dưới sự lãnh đạo của Môi-se và A-rôn.
2Môi-se vâng lệnh Đức Giê-hô-va ghi lại cuộc hành trình của dân chúng theo từng chặng đường. Sau đây là các chặng đường kể theo những điểm khởi hành:
3Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên khởi hành từ Ram-se vào ngày rằm tháng giêng, một ngày sau lễ Vượt Qua. Họ ra đi một cách dạn dĩ trước sự chứng kiến của người Ai Cập.
4Trong lúc đó, người Ai Cập lo chôn cất những con đầu lòng mà Đức Giê-hô-va đã trừng phạt vì Ngài đã phán xét các thần của chúng.
5Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rời Ram-se và đến đóng trại tại Su-cốt,
6rồi rời Su-cốt đến đóng trại tại Ê-tam ở cuối hoang mạc.
7Kế đó, họ rời Ê-tam, đi vòng về hướng Phi Ha-hi-rốt đối diện với Ba-anh Sê-phôn và đóng trại trước Mít-đôn.
8Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rời Phi Ha-hi-rốt, vượt qua biển hướng về hoang mạc và đi ba ngày đường trong hoang mạc Ê-tam rồi đóng trại tại Ma-ra.
9Họ rời Ma-ra đến Ê-lim. Ở Ê-lim có mười hai suối nước và bảy mươi cây chà là; rồi họ đóng trại tại đó.
10Rời Ê-lim, họ đến đóng trại gần Biển Đỏ.
11Họ rời Biển Đỏ và đóng trại trong hoang mạc Sin.
12Rời hoang mạc Sin, họ đóng trại tại Đáp-ca.
13Họ rời Đáp-ca và đóng trại tại A-lúc.
14Rời A-lúc, họ đóng trại tại Rê-phi-đim là nơi không có nước cho dân chúng uống.
15Họ rời Rê-phi-đim và đóng trại trong hoang mạc Si-na-i.
16Kế đó, họ rời hoang mạc Si-na-i và đóng trại tại Kíp-rốt Ha-tha-va.
17Rời Kíp-rốt Ha-tha-va, họ đóng trại tại Hát-sê-rốt.
18Họ rời Hát-sê-rốt và đóng trại tại Rít-ma.
19Rời Rít-ma, họ đóng trại tại Ri-môn Phê-rết.
20Họ rời Ri-môn Phê-rết và đóng trại tại Líp-na.
21Rời Líp-na, họ đóng trại tại Ri-sa.
22Kế đó, họ rời Ri-sa và đóng trại tại Kê-hê-la-tha.
23Rời Kê-hê-la-tha, họ đóng trại tại núi Sê-phe.
24Họ rời Sê-phe và đóng trại tại Ha-ra-đa.
25Rời Ha-ra-đa, họ đóng trại tại Mác-hê-lốt.
26Họ rời Mác-hê-lốt và đóng trại tại Ta-hát.
27Rời Ta-hát, họ đóng trại tại Ta-rách.
28Họ rời Ta-rách và đóng trại tại Mít-ga.
29Rời Mít-ga, họ đóng trại tại Hách-mô-na.
30Họ rời Hách-mô-na và đóng trại tại Mô-sê-rốt.
31Rời Mô-sê-rốt, họ đóng trại tại Bê-nê Gia-a-can.
32Họ rời Bê-nê Gia-a-can và đóng trại tại Hô Ghi-gát.⚓
33Rời Hô Ghi-gát, họ đóng trại tại Dốt-ba-tha.
34Họ rời Dốt-ba-tha và đóng trại tại Áp-rô-na.
35Rời Áp-rô-na, họ đóng trại tại Ê-xi-ôn Ghê-be.
36Họ rời Ê-xi-ôn Ghê-be và đóng trại tại hoang mạc Xin⚓ nghĩa là tại Ca-đe.
37Kế đó, họ rời Ca-đe và đóng trại trên núi Hô-rơ, biên giới của Ê-đôm.
38Thầy tế lễ A-rôn lên núi Hô-rơ theo lệnh của Đức Giê-hô-va và qua đời tại đó nhằm ngày mồng một tháng năm, năm thứ bốn mươi sau khi dân Y-sơ-ra-ên ra khỏi Ai Cập.⚓
39A-rôn qua đời trên núi Hô-rơ, hưởng thọ một trăm hai mươi ba tuổi.
40Bấy giờ, vua A-rát là người Ca-na-an ở Nê-ghép của xứ Ca-na-an, nghe tin dân Y-sơ-ra-ên đã đến.⚓
41Dân Y-sơ-ra-ên rời núi Hô-rơ và đóng trại tại Xa-mô-na.
42Rời Xa-mô-na, họ đóng trại tại Phu-nôn.
43Họ rời Phu-nôn và đóng trại tại Ô-bốt.
44Kế đó, họ rời Ô-bốt và đóng trại tại Y-giê A-ba-rim trên biên giới Mô-áp.
45Rời Y-giê A-ba-rim, họ đóng trại tại Đi-bôn Gát.
46Họ rời Đi-bôn Gát và đóng trại tại Anh-môn Đíp-la-tha-im.
47Kế đó, họ rời Anh-môn Đíp-la-tha-im và đóng trại tại núi A-ba-rim trước Nê-bô.
48Rời A-ba-rim, họ đóng trại tại đồng bằng Mô-áp, gần sông Giô-đanh đối diện Giê-ri-cô.
49Họ đóng trại gần sông Giô-đanh, từ Bết Giê-si-mốt đến A-bên Si-tim trong đồng bằng Mô-áp.
50Đức Giê-hô-va phán với Môi-se trong đồng bằng Mô-áp gần sông Giô-đanh, đối diện Giê-ri-cô, rằng:
51“Hãy bảo dân Y-sơ-ra-ên: ‘Khi các con vượt qua sông Giô-đanh để vào xứ Ca-na-an
52thì phải đuổi tất cả dân bản địa khỏi các con, phá hủy hết tượng chạm và tượng đúc cùng triệt hạ tất cả các nơi cao của chúng.
53Các con sẽ nhận xứ ấy làm sản nghiệp và định cư tại đó, vì Ta đã ban xứ ấy cho các con làm sản nghiệp.
54Hãy bắt thăm để phân chia đất tùy theo gia tộc các con. Gia tộc nào đông người thì cho một sản nghiệp lớn hơn; còn gia tộc nào ít người thì cho một sản nghiệp nhỏ hơn. Mỗi người sẽ nhận lãnh phần mình tùy theo thăm bắt được. Cứ theo từng bộ tộc của tổ phụ các con mà phân chia xứ.⚓
55Nhưng nếu các con không đuổi hết dân bản địa đi thì các dân mà các con còn để lại sẽ như gai trong con mắt và như chông nơi hông các con. Chúng sẽ theo quấy nhiễu các con trong đất mình đang ở.
56Rồi đến lúc Ta cũng sẽ đối xử với các con như Ta định đối xử với chúng vậy.’”

Israel’s Journey from Egypt Reviewed
1These are the journeys of the children of Israel, who went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the ⚓hand of Moses and Aaron.
2Now Moses wrote down the starting points of their journeys at the command of the Lord. And these are their journeys according to their starting points:
3They ⚓departed from Rameses in ⚓the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the Passover the children of Israel went out ⚓with boldness in the sight of all the Egyptians.
4For the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, ⚓whom the Lord had killed among them. Also ⚓on their gods the Lord had executed judgments.
5⚓Then the children of Israel moved from Rameses and camped at Succoth.
6They departed from ⚓Succoth and camped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.
7⚓They moved from Etham and turned back to Pi Hahiroth, which is east of Baal Zephon; and they camped near Migdol.
8They departed from before Hahiroth and ⚓passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, went three days’ journey in the Wilderness of Etham, and camped at Marah.
9They moved from Marah and ⚓came to Elim. At Elim were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; so they camped there.
10They moved from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
11They moved from the Red Sea and camped in the ⚓Wilderness of Sin.
12They journeyed from the Wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
13They departed from Dophkah and camped at Alush.
14They moved from Alush and camped at ⚓Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
15They departed from Rephidim and camped in the ⚓Wilderness of Sinai.
16They moved from the Wilderness of Sinai and camped ⚓at Kibroth Hattaavah.
17They departed from Kibroth Hattaavah and ⚓camped at Hazeroth.
18They departed from Hazeroth and camped at ⚓Rithmah.
19They departed from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon Perez.
20They departed from Rimmon Perez and camped at Libnah.
21They moved from Libnah and camped at Rissah.
22They journeyed from Rissah and camped at Kehelathah.
23They went from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.
24They moved from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
25They moved from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
26They moved from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
27They departed from Tahath and camped at Terah.
28They moved from Terah and camped at Mithkah.
29They went from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.
30They departed from Hashmonah and ⚓camped at Moseroth.
31They departed from Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan.
32They moved from ⚓Bene Jaakan and ⚓camped at Hor Hagidgad.
33They went from Hor Hagidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
34They moved from Jotbathah ⚓and camped at Abronah.
35They departed from Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber.
36They moved from Ezion Geber and camped in the ⚓Wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.
37They moved from ⚓Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the boundary of the land of Edom.
38Then ⚓Aaron the priest went up to Mount Hor at the command of the Lord, and died there in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.
39Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40Now ⚓the king of Arad, the Canaanite, who dwelt in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41So they departed from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
42They departed from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
43They departed from Punon and ⚓camped at Oboth.
44⚓They departed from Oboth and camped at Ije Abarim, at the border of Moab.
45They departed from Ijim and camped ⚓at Dibon Gad.
46They moved from Dibon Gad and camped at ⚓Almon Diblathaim.
47They moved from Almon Diblathaim ⚓and camped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.
48They departed from the mountains of Abarim and ⚓camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.
49They camped by the Jordan, from Beth Jesimoth as far as the ⚓Abel Acacia Grove in the plains of Moab.
Instructions for the Conquest of Canaan
50Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, saying,
51“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ⚓‘When you have crossed the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52⚓then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their engraved stones, destroy all their molded images, and demolish all their high places;
53you shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, for I have given you the land to ⚓possess.
54And ⚓you shall divide the land by lot as an inheritance among your families; to the larger you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance; there everyone’s inheritance shall be whatever falls to him by lot. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
55But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be⚓irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell.
56Moreover it shall be that I will do to you as I thought to do to them.’ ”
