God the Refuge of His People and Conqueror of the Nations

⚓A very present help in trouble.
2Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3⚓Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.

4There is a ⚓river whose streams shall make glad the ⚓city of God,
The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
5God is⚓in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;
God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
6⚓The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved;
He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
7The ⚓Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.

8Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
9⚓He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
⚓He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
⚓He burns the chariot in the fire.
10Be still, and know that I am God;
⚓I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
11The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge.

Thượng Đế gìn giữ dân Ngài
Soạn cho nhạc trưởng. Theo điệu a-la-mốt⚓. Thi thiên của con cháu Cô-rê.
Ngài luôn luôn cứu giúp trong lúc nguy nan.
2Cho nên chúng tôi chẳng sợ dù cho đất rung động
hay núi non sụp xuống biển,
3Dù cho biển gầm và sủi bọt,
hay núi lay chuyển vì sóng vỗ ầm ầm cũng vậy.

4Có một con sông mang lại niềm vui
cho thành của Thượng Đế,
nơi thánh mà Thượng Đế Chí Cao ngự.
5Thượng Đế ở trong thành đó,
nó sẽ không bị rúng động.
Vừa bình minh Chúa sẽ giúp đỡ thành ấy.
6Các dân tộc và vương quốc
chuyển lay.
Thượng Đế gầm thét, đất liền
sụp đổ.
7Chúa Toàn Năng ở cùng chúng tôi;
Thượng Đế của Gia-cốp là Đấng bảo vệ chúng tôi.

8Hãy đến xem những việc Chúa làm,
những điều diệu kỳ Ngài đã làm ra trên đất.
9Ngài dẹp yên giặc khắp nơi trên đất.
Ngài bẻ gãy cung tên, gươm giáo
và thiêu rụi các chiến xa.
10Thượng Đế phán, “Hãy im lặng và biết ta là Thượng Đế.
Ta là Chủ Tể các dân tộc;
Ta là Đấng Chí Cao trên khắp đất.”
11CHÚA Toàn Năng ở cùng chúng ta;
Thượng Đế của Gia-cốp là Đấng bảo vệ chúng ta.
