The Joy of Going to the House of the Lord
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
1I was glad when they said to me,
⚓“Let us go into the house of the Lord.”
2Our feet have been standing
Within your gates, O Jerusalem!
3Jerusalem is built
As a city that is ⚓compact together,
4⚓Where the tribes go up,
The tribes of the Lord,
To ⚓the Testimony of Israel,
To give thanks to the name of the Lord.
5⚓For thrones are set there for judgment,
The thrones of the house of David.
6⚓Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you.
7Peace be within your walls,
Prosperity within your palaces.”
8For the sake of my brethren and companions,
I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9Because of the house of the Lord our God
I will ⚓seek your good.

1我喜樂，
因人對我說：「我們到耶和華的殿去。」
2耶路撒冷啊，
我們的腳站在你門內。
3耶路撒冷被建造，
如同連結整齊的一座城。
4眾支派就是耶和華的支派，上那裏去，
按以色列的法度頌揚耶和華的名。
5他們在那裏設立審判的寶座，
就是大衛家的寶座。
6你們要為耶路撒冷求平安：
「願愛你的人興旺！
7願你城中有平安！
願你宮內得平靜！」
8為我弟兄和同伴的緣故，我要說：
「願你平安！」
9為耶和華－我們上帝殿的緣故，
我要為你求福！
