Chân đèn

 1CHÚA bảo Mô-se, 2“Nói với A-rôn rằng: Hãy đặt bảy ngọn đèn để soi sáng phía trước chân đèn.”
  3A-rôn làm theo, đặt bảy ngọn đèn để soi sáng vùng phía trước chân đèn; ông vâng theo lời CHÚA truyền dặn Mô-se. 4Chân đèn làm bằng vàng giát mỏng, từ đế cho đến hoa. Chân đèn được chế tạo đúng theo cách CHÚA đã chỉ Mô-se.

Người Lê-vi được biệt riêng
cho Thượng Đế

 5CHÚA bảo Mô-se, 6“Hãy mang người Lê-vi riêng ra khỏi những người Ít-ra-en khác, và làm sạch họ. 7Phương thức làm sạch họ như sau: Rưới nước tẩy⚓ trên người họ và bảo họ cạo lông toàn thân thể, rồi giặt quần áo họ thì họ sẽ được sạch.
  8Họ phải mang một con bò đực tơ và của lễ chay gồm bột mịn tẩm dầu. Rồi lấy một con bò tơ đực thứ nhì làm của lễ chuộc tội. 9Mang người Lê-vi đến trước Lều Họp và tập họp tất cả dân Ít-ra-en lại quanh họ. 10Khi con mang người Lê-vi ra trước mặt CHÚA thì dân Ít-ra-en sẽ đặt tay trên họ⚓. 11A-rôn sẽ trình diện dân Ít-ra-en trước mặt CHÚA như một của lễ do người Ít-ra-en dâng lên. Sau đó người Lê-vi sẽ sẵn sàng lo công việc CHÚA.
  12Người Lê-vi sẽ đặt tay trên đầu hai con bò đực, một con sẽ làm của lễ chuộc tội dâng lên cho CHÚA, con kia làm của lễ thiêu, dùng gỡ tội của người Lê-vi để họ thuộc về CHÚA. 13Đặt người Lê-vi đứng trước mặt A-rôn và các con trai người rồi dâng họ lên như một của lễ cho CHÚA. 14Làm như thế để các con biệt riêng người Lê-vi ra khỏi những người Ít-ra-en khác; người Lê-vi sẽ thuộc về ta.
  15Hãy làm cho người Lê-vi tinh sạch và dâng họ như một của lễ, để họ đến phục vụ tại Lều Họp. 16Họ sẽ được dâng hoàn toàn cho ta, biệt riêng hẳn khỏi những người Ít-ra-en khác; ta đã chọn họ cho ta, thay cho các con đầu lòng của các phụ nữ Ít-ra-en. 17Tất cả các con đầu lòng trong Ít-ra-en từ người cho đến súc vật đều thuộc về ta. Khi ta giết mọi con đầu lòng trong xứ Ai-cập, ta chọn các con đầu lòng của Ít-ra-en cho ta. 18Nhưng ta đã chọn người Lê-vi thay cho các con đầu lòng trong Ít-ra-en. 19Từ trong cả dân Ít-ra-en, ta đã giao người Lê-vi cho A-rôn và các con trai người, để họ phục vụ toàn dân Ít-ra-en trong Lều Họp. Họ sẽ giúp đỡ trong việc chuộc tội dân Ít-ra-en và cũng để cho không có thảm họa nào xảy ra cho người Ít-ra-en, khi họ đụng vào những vật thánh.”
  20Vậy Mô-se, A-rôn, và toàn dân Ít-ra-en vâng lời và làm cho người Lê-vi y theo mọi điều CHÚA truyền dặn Mô-se. 21Người Lê-vi dọn sạch mình và giặt quần áo. Rồi A-rôn dâng họ lên như một của lễ cho CHÚA. Ông cũng dâng của lễ chuộc tội, để họ được thanh sạch. 22Sau đó người Lê-vi đến Lều Họp để làm việc. A-rôn và các con trai ông chỉ bảo họ những gì phải làm. Dân chúng làm cho người Lê-vi y theo điều CHÚA truyền dặn Mô-se.
  23CHÚA bảo Mô-se, 24“Lệnh nầy dành cho người Lê-vi. Tất cả người Lê-vi từ hai mươi lăm tuổi trở lên phải đến Lều Họp vì có việc cho họ làm tại đó. 25Đến năm mươi tuổi họ phải về hưu, không còn làm việc nữa. 26Sau khi về hưu họ có thể giúp đỡ các người Lê-vi khác trong công tác nơi Lều Họp, nhưng không được đích thân làm công tác. Đó là cách con giao việc cho người Lê-vi.”

Arrangement of the Lamps

 1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2“Speak to Aaron, and say to him, ‘When you ⚓arrange the lamps, the seven ⚓lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.’ ” 3And Aaron did so; he arranged the lamps to face toward the front of the lampstand, as the Lord commanded Moses. 4⚓Now this workmanship of the lampstand was hammered gold; from its shaft to its flowers it was⚓hammered work. ⚓According to the pattern which the Lord had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.

Cleansing and Dedication of the Levites

 5Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel and cleanse them ceremonially. 7Thus you shall do to them to cleanse them: ⚓Sprinkle water of purification on them, and ⚓let them shave all their body, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean. 8Then let them take a young bull with ⚓its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, and you shall take another young bull as a sin offering. 9⚓And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of meeting, ⚓and you shall gather together the whole congregation of the children of Israel. 10So you shall bring the Levites before the Lord, and the children of Israel ⚓shall lay their hands on the Levites; 11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before the Lordlike a ⚓wave offering from the children of Israel, that they may perform the work of the Lord. 12⚓Then the Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the young bulls, and you shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the Lord, to make atonement for the Levites.
  13“And you shall stand the Levites before Aaron and his sons, and then offer them like a wave offering to the Lord. 14Thus you shall ⚓separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be ⚓Mine. 15After that the Levites shall go in to service the tabernacle of meeting. So you shall cleanse them and ⚓offer them like a wave offering. 16For they are⚓wholly given to Me from among the children of Israel; I have taken them for Myself ⚓instead of all who open the womb, the firstborn of all the children of Israel. 17⚓For all the firstborn among the children of Israel are Mine, both man and beast; on the day that I struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them to Myself. 18I have taken the Levites instead of all the firstborn of the children of Israel. 19And ⚓I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the work for the children of Israel in the tabernacle of meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Israel, ⚓that there be no plague among the children of Israel when the children of Israel come near the sanctuary.”
  20Thus Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel did to the Levites; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them. 21⚓And the Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes; then Aaron presented them like a wave offering before the Lord, and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them. 22⚓After that the Levites went in to do their work in the tabernacle of meeting before Aaron and his sons; ⚓as the Lord commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
  23Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24“This is what pertains to the Levites: ⚓From twenty-five years old and above one may enter to perform service in the work of the tabernacle of meeting; 25and at the age of fifty years they must cease performing this work, and shall work no more. 26They may minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of meeting, ⚓to attend to needs, but they themselves shall do no work. Thus you shall do to the Levites regarding their duties.”
