3Dũn mán chĩn pái adéh dỗi bữn noau doc phễp rit Yiang Sursĩ, Ncháu alới, yỗn alới tamứng; chơ dũn mán chĩn pái adéh dỗi ễn, tỗp alới ngin kho tễ máh ranáq lôih alới khoiq táq, cớp rôm sang toam Yiang Sursĩ, Ncháu alới, hỡ.
4Ntốq nâi bữn ntrỡn dŏq yỗn cũai Lê-vi tayứng; ramứh alới la neq: Yê-sua, Bani, Cat-miel, Sê-bania, Buni, Sê-rabia, Bani, cớp Khê-nani. Tỗp alới câu na sưong casang chu Yiang Sursĩ, Ncháu alới.
5Tỗp Lê-vi canŏ́h arô cũai proai toâq sang toam Yiang Sursĩ; ramứh alới la neq: Yê-sua, Cat-miel, Bani, Hasap-nia, Sê-rabia, Hô-dia, Sê-bania, cớp Pê-tahia. Tỗp alới pai neq: “Yuor tayứng cớp khễn Yiang Sursĩ, Ncháu anhia! Yuaq Ncháu la tễ dâu lứq, cớp parsốt lứq! Cóq dũ náq cũai khễn ramứh án ca sốt toâr lứq; ramứh Yiang Sursĩ la ramứh parnheq ŏ́c khễn.”

6Chơ cũai proai câu ngin kho neq: “Ống Ncháu toâp la lứq Yiang Sursĩ! Anhia toâp tễng paloŏng cớp dũ ŏ́c poang tâng paloŏng, cutễq cớp dỡq mưt, cớp dũ ramứh tâng ki. Dũ ramứh ca tamoong, lứq anhia toâp yỗn bữn tamoong, cớp máh ramứh sốt tâng paloŏng la sang toam anhia tê.
7“Yiang Sursĩ ơi! Anhia khoiq rưoh Apram, cớp dững aloŏh án tễ vil Urơ tâng cruang Ba-bulôn; chơ anhia amứh án ramứh tamái la A-praham.
8Anhia dáng án táq tanoang tapứng chóq anhia, chơ anhia táq tếc parkhán cớp án, pai ễ chiau cutễq tỗp Cana-an, Hêt, Amô-rit, Pê-rasit, Yê-but, cớp Kir-casit, yỗn cỡt mun án cớp tŏ́ng toiq án ễn. Anhia yống níc máh santoiq anhia khoiq parkhán, yuaq anhia la Ncháu tanoang tapứng níc.
9“Tâng cruang Ê-yip-tô anhia hữm achúc achiac hếq chĩuq tanhĩr máh ŏ́c túh coat; pỡ dỡq mưt Cusâu, ki achúc achiac hếq arô sễq anhia chuai.
10Anhia táq máh ranáq salễh toâr lứq dŏq chíl puo Ê-yip-tô, cũai ayững atĩ puo, cớp máh cũai proai tâng cruang ki, yuaq anhia khoiq dáng máh cũai ki padâm táq túh coat lứq achúc achiac hếq, la cũai proai anhia. Chơ ramứh ranoâng anhia cỡt parchia parhan níc toau toâq sanua.
11Anhia cayoah dỡq mưt cỡt rana dŏq tỗp alới têq tayáh pỡq ien khễ, chơ alới bữn tayáh pỡq tâng cutễq sa‑ỡt; ma tữ cũai par‑ũal rapuai alới toâq, dỡq mưt ki culứp nheq alới; alới cỡt ariang cỗc tamáu dớp tâng dỡq yarũ.
12Anhia táq sapom ramứl dŏq ayông tỗp alới pỡq tâng tangái, cớp anhia táq sapom pla ũih yỗn cỡt poang dŏq ayông alới pỡq tâng sadâu.
13“Anhia sễng tễ paloŏng pỡ cóh Si-nai; anhia táq ntỡng cớp cũai proai pỡ ntốq ki, dếh patâp cớp atỡng ống ŏ́c tanoang tapứng yỗn alới dáng, cớp chiau phễp rit o yỗn alới hỡ.
14Anhia patâp alới yỗn noap máh Tangái Rlu cỡt tangái miar, dếh chiau ŏ́c patâp cớp phễp rit yỗn alới na Môi-se, la cũai táq ranáq anhia.
15“Toâq alới panhieih, anhia yỗn sana sễng tễ paloŏng; toâq alới ễ khlac dỡq, anhia yỗn dỡq hoi tễ côl tamáu yỗn alới bữn nguaiq. Anhia atỡng alới yỗn mut cheng ndỡm tâm cutễq bân ntốq anhia khoiq par‑ữq ễ chiau yỗn alới.
16Ma achúc achiac hếq ngian cớp cỡt mứt coang, cớp tỡ bữn trĩh loâng santoiq anhia patâp.
17“Alới tỡ bữn tamứng cớp khlĩr nheq máh ranáq salễh anhia khoiq táq. Alới tỡ ễq trĩh, dếh chóh cũai sốt dŏq ayông tỗp alới píh loah dŏq cỡt cũai sũl tâng cruang Ê-yip-tô. Ma anhia la Yiang Sursĩ ca táh lôih; anhia bữn mứt sarũiq cớp ayooq níc. Anhia tỡ bữn coâp cutâu, ma anhia sarũiq táq alới. Yuaq ngkíq anhia tỡ bữn táh tỗp alới.
18Alới táq rup ntroŏq con, chơ cucốh sang, cớp alới pai rup ki la yiang tỗp alới, yiang ca dững aloŏh alới tễ cruang Ê-yip-tô. Yiang Sursĩ ơi! Alới lóc acrieiq anhia!
19Cỗ anhia bữn ŏ́c ayooq toâr lứq, ngkíq anhia tỡ bữn táh tỗp alới tâng ntốq aiq; anhia tỡ bữn ĩt aloŏh sapom ramứl ca sadoi rana tâng tangái, cớp sapom pla ũih ca abal rana tâng sadâu yỗn alới têq pỡq.
20Anhia yỗn Raviei o anhia atỡng alới táq máh ranáq pĩeiq; anhia chứm siem alới na mana, cớp yỗn alới bữn dỡq nguaiq.
21Anhia chứm siem alới nheq pỗn chít cumo tâng ntốq aiq, cớp alới tỡ bữn ŏ́q muoi ramứh ntrớu; tampâc alới tâc tỡ bữn raháq, cớp ayững alới tỡ bữn áih.

23Anhia táq yỗn alới bữn con châu rứh rưong clứng lứq, cỡt samoât máh mantỗr tâng paloŏng; cớp anhia dững alới pỡq cheng ndỡm cutễq ca anhia khoiq par‑ữq cớp achúc achiac alới.
24Alới cheng bữn cutễq tỗp Cana-an, cớp anhia yỗn alới chíl riap cũai proai tâng ntốq ki hỡ; anhia yỗn alới bữn rêng dŏq táq samoât mứt alới yoc ễ táq chóq máh cũai proai cớp máh puo tỗp Cana-an.
25Alới cheng bữn máh vil bữn viang khâm, dếh cutễq phuor o, dống cớp máh mun chín cũai ki hỡ. Alới cheng ĩt dỡq parníq noau khoiq píq dŏq, nỡm o‑li‑vê, cớp máh aluang bữn palâi têq cha, dếh nưong nho hỡ. Alới bữn cha dũ ramứh samoât alới yoc, chơ cỡt plứm nín; cớp alới sâng bũi tâng dũ ramứh ca anhia khoiq thrũan dŏq yỗn alới.
26“Ma cũai proai tỡ bữn trĩh, cớp alới lớn-sarlớn níc chóq anhia, dếh chứng clĩ tễ phễp rit anhia hỡ. Alới cachĩt máh cũai tang bỗq anhia, ca toâq catoaih atỡng alới yỗn píh loah chu anhia. Alới mumat níc anhia.
27Yuaq ngkíq, anhia chiau alới yỗn cũai par‑ũal bữn chíl riap, cớp cỡt sốt alới hỡ. Toâq alới ramóh túh coat, alới arô sễq anhia rachuai; chơ tễ pỡng paloŏng anhia ta‑ỡi santoiq alới câu sễq. Cỗ anhia sâng sarũiq lứq alới, ngkíq anhia rưoh yỗn máh cũai ayông toâq rachuai alới yỗn vớt tễ cũai par‑ũal.
28“Ma toâq alới ỡt ien khễ, alới táq loah lôih sĩa. Yuaq ngkíq, anhia yỗn cũai par‑ũal bữn chíl riap alới sĩa. Toâq alới ralêq cỡt loah mứt tamái cớp sễq anhia chuai, ki anhia tamứng tễ pỡng paloŏng sưong santoiq alới câu sễq. Anhia chuai amoong alới sa‑ữi trỗ la cỗ anhia sâng sarũiq.
29Anhia prưt ễq alới trĩh máh santoiq anhia patâp, ma mứt alới cỡt ỗt cớp tỡ ễq táq puai phễp rit anhia. Ma khân cũai aléq trĩh phễp rit anhia, cũai ki têq bữn tamoong. Cỗ tian alới ngian, ngkíq alới tỡ bữn tamứng anhia.
30Dũn cumo ralua casâi anhia tĩeih atỡng alới na Raviei anhia yỗn máh cũai tang bỗq anhia pai sưoq alới; ma cũai proai anhia cỡt chíq cutũr túng, cớp ngian; yuaq ngkíq, anhia yỗn máh cũai ỡt mpễr cruang alới bữn chíl riap.
31Ma cỗ anhia sâng sarũiq lứq alới, ngkíq anhia ayuang, cớp tỡ bữn pupứt táh nheq alới. Anhia la Yiang ca bữn mứt saryóq cớp sarũiq táq.
32“Ơ Yiang Sursĩ, Ncháu hếq, ơi! Anhia la sốt lứq, cớp bữn chớc toâr lứq, cớp o yỗn hếq ngcŏh. Anhia yống pacái lứq máh santoiq anhia khoiq par‑ữq; ma sanua, sễq anhia sanhữ loah máh santoiq ki, yuaq tễ dỡi máh puo Asi-ria toau toâq sanua, tỗp hếq chĩuq níc túh coat, dếh puo cớp cũai sốt, cũai tễng rit sang, cớp cũai tang bỗq anhia, máh achúc achiac hếq, cớp nheq tữh hếq hỡ.
33Anhia manrap tỗp hếq la pĩeiq lứq, yuaq anhia táq tanoang tapứng lứq chóq hếq; ma hếq khoiq táq ranáq lôih níc.
34Achúc achiac hếq, dếh puo cớp cũai sốt, cớp cũai tễng rit sang la tỡ bữn yống pacái máh phễp rit anhia. Tỗp alới tỡ bữn trĩh santoiq anhia patâp, dếh santoiq anhia tĩeih atỡng.
35Bo alới bữn puo cớp bữn ỡt tâng cutễq la‑a cớp phuor o, ca anhia khoiq chiau yỗn alới, mŏ alới noâng tếng-tanhếng níc yoc táq ranáq lôih, cớp tỡ ễq táq ranáq anhia.
36“Ma sanua, tỗp hếq cỡt cũai sũl tâng cutễq ca anhia khoiq chiau yỗn achúc achiac hếq. Cutễq nâi la cutễq phuor o cớp bữn dũ ramứh crơng sana yỗn hếq têq cha.
37Cỗ tian hếq táq lôih, máh crơng sana cutễq amia mŏ cỡt nheq crơng puo cớp cũai sốt ca anhia yỗn cỡt sốt hếq. Alới táq chóq hếq cớp chóq máh charán hếq puai mứt alới yoc; yuaq ngkíq, hếq cỡt túh arức lứq!”

38Cỗ tian tễ máh ranáq ki, ngkíq tỗp hái cũai proai I-sarel ma chĩc ramứh táq tếc pruam tâng ntốq nâi. Chơ máh cũai sốt, tỗp Lê-vi, cớp máh cũai tễng rit sang catếh ta chóq tâng choâiq ki dŏq cỡt tếc.

The Israelites Confess Their Sins
1On the twenty-fourth day of the same month, the Israelites gathered together, fasting and wearing sackcloth and putting dust on their heads.
2Those of Israelite descent had separated themselves from all foreigners. They stood in their places and confessed their sins and the sins of their ancestors.
3They stood where they were and read from the Book of the Law of the Lord their God for a quarter of the day, and spent another quarter in confession and in worshiping the Lord their God.
4Standing on the stairs of the Levites were Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani and Kenani. They cried out with loud voices to the Lord their God.
5And the Levites—Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah and Pethahiah—said: “Stand up and praise the Lord your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting.⚓ ”
“Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.
6You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.
7“You are the Lord God, who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham.
8You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.
9“You saw the suffering of our ancestors in Egypt; you heard their cry at the Red Sea.⚓
10You sent signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated them. You made a name for yourself, which remains to this day.
11You divided the sea before them, so that they passed through it on dry ground, but you hurled their pursuers into the depths, like a stone into mighty waters.
12By day you led them with a pillar of cloud, and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take.
13“You came down on Mount Sinai; you spoke to them from heaven. You gave them regulations and laws that are just and right, and decrees and commands that are good.
14You made known to them your holy Sabbath and gave them commands, decrees and laws through your servant Moses.
15In their hunger you gave them bread from heaven and in their thirst you brought them water from the rock; you told them to go in and take possession of the land you had sworn with uplifted hand to give them.
16“But they, our ancestors, became arrogant and stiff-necked, and they did not obey your commands.
17They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,
18even when they cast for themselves an image of a calf and said, ‘This is your god, who brought you up out of Egypt,’ or when they committed awful blasphemies.
19“Because of your great compassion you did not abandon them in the wilderness. By day the pillar of cloud did not fail to guide them on their path, nor the pillar of fire by night to shine on the way they were to take.
20You gave your good Spirit to instruct them. You did not withhold your manna from their mouths, and you gave them water for their thirst.
21For forty years you sustained them in the wilderness; they lacked nothing, their clothes did not wear out nor did their feet become swollen.
22“You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. They took over the country of Sihon⚓ king of Heshbon and the country of Og king of Bashan.
23You made their children as numerous as the stars in the sky, and you brought them into the land that you told their parents to enter and possess.
24Their children went in and took possession of the land. You subdued before them the Canaanites, who lived in the land; you gave the Canaanites into their hands, along with their kings and the peoples of the land, to deal with them as they pleased.
25They captured fortified cities and fertile land; they took possession of houses filled with all kinds of good things, wells already dug, vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees in abundance. They ate to the full and were well-nourished; they reveled in your great goodness.
26“But they were disobedient and rebelled against you; they turned their backs on your law. They killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you; they committed awful blasphemies.
27So you delivered them into the hands of their enemies, who oppressed them. But when they were oppressed they cried out to you. From heaven you heard them, and in your great compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them from the hand of their enemies.
28“But as soon as they were at rest, they again did what was evil in your sight. Then you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies so that they ruled over them. And when they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven, and in your compassion you delivered them time after time.
29“You warned them in order to turn them back to your law, but they became arrogant and disobeyed your commands. They sinned against your ordinances, of which you said, ‘The person who obeys them will live by them.’ Stubbornly they turned their backs on you, became stiff-necked and refused to listen.
30For many years you were patient with them. By your Spirit you warned them through your prophets. Yet they paid no attention, so you gave them into the hands of the neighboring peoples.
31But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
32“Now therefore, our God, the great God, mighty and awesome, who keeps his covenant of love, do not let all this hardship seem trifling in your eyes—the hardship that has come on us, on our kings and leaders, on our priests and prophets, on our ancestors and all your people, from the days of the kings of Assyria until today.
33In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous; you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly.
34Our kings, our leaders, our priests and our ancestors did not follow your law; they did not pay attention to your commands or the statutes you warned them to keep.
35Even while they were in their kingdom, enjoying your great goodness to them in the spacious and fertile land you gave them, they did not serve you or turn from their evil ways.
36“But see, we are slaves today, slaves in the land you gave our ancestors so they could eat its fruit and the other good things it produces.
37Because of our sins, its abundant harvest goes to the kings you have placed over us. They rule over our bodies and our cattle as they please. We are in great distress.
38“In view of all this, we are making a binding agreement, putting it in writing, and our leaders, our Levites and our priests are affixing their seals to it.”⚓
