Teem txim rau cov Yixayee

  1“Cov pov thawj 'e, cia li mloog tej no.
   Cov Yixayee 'e, cia li tig ntsej mloog.
   Vajntxwv caj ces 'e, cia li mloog.
  Nej yuav raug teem txim,
   vim nej ua rooj ntxiab caws
   rau ntawm lub moos Mixapa,
  thiab ua rooj hlua cuab
   ntawm lub moos Thanpau.
  2Lawv khawb qhov taub tob tob
   rau ntawm lub moos Sithi,
  tiamsis kuv yuav nplawm qhuab qhia
   lawv cov ntawd sawvdaws.

  3“Kuv paub Efa‑i,
   thiab Yixayee nraim tsis dhau kuv,
  Efa‑i 'e koj mus deev hluas nraug
   Yixayee kuj qias puas tsuas.
  4Tej uas lawv ua tsis kheev lawv rov los
   cuag lawv tus Vajtswv,
  vim lub siab uas nyiam deev luag
   nyob hauv lawv, thiab lawv tsis paub Yawmsaub.
  5Yixayee txojkev khav theeb
   kuj rov ua timkhawv kom lawv lawm,
  Yixayee thiab Efa‑i yuav dawm ntog
   vim ob tug tej kev txhaum,
   Yuda kuj yuav dawm ntog nrog ob tug ua ke.
  6Lawv yuav coj yaj coj tshis coj nyuj
   mus nrhiav Yawmsaub,
  los kuj nrhiav tsis ntsib,
   nws twb ncaim lawv lawm.
  7Lawv tau fav xeeb rau Yawmsaub,
   rau qhov lawv yug menyuam tsaub xwb.
  Tej kevcai hnub hli xiab yuav muab lawv
   thiab lawv tej teb rhuav tshem tag.

  8“Cia li tshuab raj kub yaj
   rau hauv lub moos Kinpe‑a,
   cia li tshuab raj xyu rau hauv lub moos Lama,
  cia li qw suab ceeb toom
   rau ntawm lub moos Npe‑avee.
   Npeeyamee 'e, cia li coj lawv mus.
  9Hnub uas teem txim,
   Efa‑i yuav raug nyob do cuas.
  Kuv tshaj tawm txog tej uas muaj tseeb
   rau hauv Yixayee tej xeem.
  10Yuda cov thawj ntxeev ua zoo li
   cov uas txav luag ciam teb,
  kuv yuav nchuav kuv txojkev npau taws
   rau saum lawv ib yam li nchuav dej.
  11Efa‑i raug quab yuam
   thiab raug muab tsuj txiav txim,
  vim yog nws npaj siab mus
   raws kua tej uas qhuav qhawv xwb.
  12Vim li no kuv zoo yam nkaus li
   tus kab noj Efa‑i,
  thiab zoo yam li qhov lwj kas
   rau Yuda caj ces.
  13Thaum Efa‑i pom nws qhov mob
   thiab Yuda pom nws lub qhov txhab,
  Efa‑i kuj mus nrhiav cov Axilia
   thiab txib neeg mus thov lawv tus vajntxwv loj.
  Tiamsis nws kho tsis tau nej
   thiab kho tsis tau nej lub qhov txhab zoo.
  14Kuv yuav zoo yam li
   tus tsov ntxhuav rau Efa‑i,
  kuv yuav zoo yam li tus thav tsov ntxhuav
   rau Yuda caj ces.
  Kuv, yog kuv ntag,
   yuav muab dua tag li khiav mus,
  kuv yuav muab cab mus
   thiab tsis muaj leejtwg yuav cawm tau.
  15Kuv yuav rov mus rau kuv lub chaw,
   mus txog thaum lawv lees paub lawv tej kev txhaum
   thiab nrhiav kuv lub xubntiag.
  Thaum lawv raug kev txom nyem
   nyuaj siab lawv yuav los nrhiav kuv.”

Impending Judgment on Israel and Judah

  1“Hear this, O priests!
   Take heed, O house of Israel!
   Give ear, O house of the king!
   For yours is the judgment,
   Because you have been a snare to Mizpah
   And a net spread on Tabor.
   2The revolters are deeply involved in slaughter,
   Though I rebuke them all.
   3I know Ephraim,
   And Israel is not hidden from Me;
   For now, O Ephraim, you commit harlotry;
   Israel is defiled.
  4“They do not direct their deeds
   Toward turning to their God,
   For the spirit of harlotry is in their midst,
   And they do not know the Lord.
   5The pride of Israel testifies to his face;
   Therefore Israel and Ephraim stumble in their iniquity;
   Judah also stumbles with them.
  6“With their flocks and herds
   They shall go to seek the Lord,
   But they will not find Him;
   He has withdrawn Himself from them.
   7They have dealt treacherously with the Lord,
   For they have begotten pagan children.
   Now a New Moon shall devour them and their heritage.
  8“Blow the ram’s horn in Gibeah,
   The trumpet in Ramah!
   Cry aloud atBeth Aven,
   ‘Look behind you, O Benjamin!’
   9Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke;
   Among the tribes of Israel I make known what is sure.
  10“The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark;
   I will pour out My wrath on them like water.
   11Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment,
   Because he willingly walked by human precept.
   12Therefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth,
   And to the house of Judah like rottenness.
  13“When Ephraim saw his sickness,
   And Judah saw his wound,
   Then Ephraim went to Assyria
   And sent to King Jareb;
   Yet he cannot cure you,
   Nor heal you of your wound.
   14For I will be like a lion to Ephraim,
   And like a young lion to the house of Judah.
   I, even I, will tear them and go away;
   I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.
   15I will return again to My place
   Till they acknowledge their offense.
   Then they will seek My face;
   In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
