Lời Tiên Tri Nghịch Am-môn
1Lời của CHÚA phán cùng tôi:
2“Hỡi con người, hãy hướng mặt về phía dân Am-môn và phán tiên tri nghịch cùng chúng.
3Hãy nói với dân Am-môn: ‘Hãy nghe lời của CHÚA Toàn Năng, CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: Vì ngươi đã nói “A ha!” về đền thánh của Ta khi nó bị ô uế, về đất đai Y-sơ-ra-ên khi nó bị hoang tàn, về nhà Giu-đa khi nó phải đi lưu đày.
4Cho nên, nầy, Ta sẽ trao ngươi cho dân đông phương làm tài sản; chúng sẽ đóng trại ở giữa ngươi, cư trú giữa ngươi; chúng sẽ ăn hoa quả và uống sữa của ngươi.
5Ta sẽ làm Ra-ba thành đồng cỏ cho lạc đà và Am-môn thành nơi nghỉ ngơi của súc vật; bấy giờ các ngươi sẽ biết rằng Ta là CHÚA.
6Thật vậy, CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: Vì ngươi đã vỗ tay, dậm chân vui mừng và lòng hết sức khinh bỉ đất Y-sơ-ra-ên;
7cho nên, nầy, Ta sẽ giương tay phạt ngươi, Ta sẽ trao ngươi cho các nước như của cướp; Ta sẽ loại bỏ ngươi khỏi các dân; Ta sẽ diệt ngươi khỏi các nước. Ta sẽ hủy diệt ngươi và ngươi sẽ biết rằng Ta là CHÚA.’ ”
Lời Tiên Tri Nghịch Mô-áp
8“CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: Vì Mô-áp và Sê-i-rơ nói rằng: ‘Kìa, nhà Giu-đa khác gì tất cả các nước khác;
9cho nên, nầy, Ta sẽ phá tan Mô-áp, các thành của chúng cho đến thành cuối cùng, tức là Bết-giê-si-mốt, Ba-anh-Mê-ôn và Ki-ri-a-tha-im, là vinh quang của xứ ấy.
10Ta sẽ trao Mô-áp cùng với dân Am-môn cho dân đông phương làm tài sản; như thế dân Am-môn sẽ bị quên lãng giữa vòng các nước.
11Ta sẽ trừng phạt Mô-áp và chúng sẽ biết rằng Ta là CHÚA.’ ”
Lời Tiên Tri Nghịch Ê-đôm
12“CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: ‘vì dân Ê-đôm đã hành động báo thù nhà Giu-đa và mắc tội khi báo thù chúng.
13Cho nên CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: Ta sẽ giương tay phạt Ê-đôm, loại bỏ người và thú vật ở đó. Ta sẽ làm cho nó hoang tàn; từ Thê-man đến Đê-đan, người ta sẽ ngã gục vì gươm.
14Ta sẽ dùng tay dân Ta, là Y-sơ-ra-ên để báo thù Ê-đôm. Dân ấy sẽ đối xử với Ê-đôm theo như cơn thịnh nộ và tức giận của Ta, bấy giờ chúng sẽ nếm biết sự báo thù của Ta, CHÚA Toàn Năng tuyên bố.’ ”
Lời Tiên Tri Nghịch Phi-li-tin
15“CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: ‘Vì dân Phi-li-tin đã hành động báo thù; vì mối thù truyền kiếp và lòng khinh bỉ chúng báo thù để hủy diệt.
16Cho nên CHÚA Toàn Năng phán như vầy: Nầy, Ta sẽ giương tay phạt Phi-li-tin. Ta sẽ loại bỏ dân Cơ-rết và hủy diệt những kẻ sống sót dọc bờ biển.
17Ta sẽ trừng phạt chúng nó trong cơn thịnh nộ để thi hành cuộc báo thù lớn lao; khi Ta báo thù, chúng sẽ biết rằng Ta là CHÚA.’ ”

Proclamation Against Ammon
1The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2“Son of man, ⚓set your face ⚓against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them.
3Say to the Ammonites, ‘Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God: ⚓“Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,
4indeed, therefore, I will deliver you as a possession to the men of the East, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.
5And I will make ⚓Rabbah ⚓a stable for camels and Ammon a resting place for flocks. ⚓Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”
6‘For thus says the Lord God: “Because you ⚓clapped your hands, stamped your feet, and ⚓rejoiced in heart with all your disdain for the land of Israel,
7indeed, therefore, I will ⚓stretch out My hand against you, and give you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish from the countries; I will destroy you, and you shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Moab
8‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because ⚓Moab and ⚓Seir say, ‘Look! The house of Judah is like all the nations,’
9therefore, behold, I will clear the territory of Moab of cities, of the cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and ⚓Kirjathaim.
10⚓To the men of the East I will give it as a possession, together with the Ammonites, that the Ammonites ⚓may not be remembered among the nations.
11And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
Proclamation Against Edom
12‘Thus says the Lord God: ⚓“Because of what Edom did against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended by avenging itself on them,”
13therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will also stretch out My hand against Edom, cut off man and beast from it, and make it desolate from Teman; Dedan shall fall by the sword.
14⚓I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel, that they may do in Edom according to My anger and according to My fury; and they shall know My vengeance,” says the Lord God.
Proclamation Against Philistia
15‘Thus says the Lord God: ⚓“Because ⚓the Philistines dealt vengefully and took vengeance with a spiteful heart, to destroy because of the old hatred,”
16therefore thus says the Lord God: ⚓“I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the ⚓Cherethites ⚓and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.
17I will ⚓execute great vengeance on them with furious rebukes; ⚓and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I lay My vengeance upon them.” ’ ”
