Thơ Đa-vít Cho Nhạc Trưởng, Có Đàn Dây Phụ Họa
1Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin nghe tiếng kêu van của tôi,
Xin lắng nghe lời cầu nguyện của tôi.
2Từ nơi tận cùng quả đất
Tôi sẽ kêu cầu Ngài khi tôi ngã lòng.⚓
Xin dẫn tôi đến núi đá cao hơn tôi.
3Vì Ngài là nơi trú ẩn cho tôi,
Là ngọn tháp kiên cố chống lại kẻ thù.
4Xin cho tôi ở trong trại Ngài mãi mãi,
Và trú ẩn an toàn⚓ dưới cánh Ngài. Sê-la
5Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, vì Ngài đã nghe lời hứa nguyện của tôi.
Ngài đã ban cho tôi sản nghiệp của những người kính sợ danh Ngài.
6Xin gia tăng tuổi thọ cho vua,
Thêm các năm người đến nhiều đời.
7Nguyện người cai trị đời đời trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời.
Xin Ngài truyền tình yêu thương và chân lý⚓ gìn giữ người.
8Như vậy, tôi sẽ ca ngợi danh Ngài mãi mãi,
Và hằng ngày làm trọn lời hứa nguyện tôi.

1Hear my cry, O God;
listen to my prayer.
2From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3For you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the foe.
4I long to dwell in your tent forever
and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.⚓
5For you, God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6Increase the days of the king’s life,
his years for many generations.
7May he be enthroned in God’s presence forever;
appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.
8Then I will ever sing in praise of your name
and fulfill my vows day after day.
