¹Lạy CHÚA, xin nghe lời cầu nguyện của tôi;
Vì lòng thành tín Chúa,
Xin lắng nghe lời cầu xin của tôi;
Trong sự công chính Ngài, xin đáp lời tôi.
²Xin chớ đoán xét tôi tớ Chúa
Vì không có người sống nào là công chính trước mặt Chúa.
³Vì kẻ thù săn đuổi linh hồn tôi;
Chà đạp mạng sống tôi dưới đất;
Bắt tôi ngồi trong bóng tối
Như kẻ chết từ lâu.
⁴Vì thế tinh thần tôi nao núng,
Lòng dạ tôi sầu não.
⁵Tôi nhớ lại những ngày xưa,
Tôi suy gẫm tất cả những phép lạ của Chúa;
Tôi suy tư về những công việc tay Ngài đã làm.
⁶Tôi giơ tay hướng về Chúa cầu nguyện,
Linh hồn tôi khao khát Chúa như vùng đất khô khan. Sê-la
⁷Lạy CHÚA, xin mau mau đáp lời tôi;
Tinh thần tôi bị nao núng;
Xin đừng lánh mặt khỏi tôi,
E rằng tôi sẽ như người đi xuống huyệt sâu.
⁸Buổi sáng xin cho tôi nghe thấy tình yêu thương Chúa
Vì tôi tin cậy nơi Ngài;
Xin dạy tôi con đường tôi nên theo
Vì linh hồn tôi ngưỡng vọng Chúa.
⁹Lạy CHÚA, xin giải cứu tôi khỏi kẻ thù;
Tôi trú ẩn nơi Chúa.
¹⁰Xin dạy tôi làm theo ý Chúa
Vì Ngài là Đức Chúa Trời tôi;
Xin thần linh tốt lành của Chúa
Hướng dẫn tôi vào vùng đất bằng phẳng.
¹¹Lạy CHÚA, vì cớ danh Ngài, xin ban sức sống cho tôi;
Vì sự công chính của Chúa xin giải cứu tôi khỏi cơn hoạn nạn.
¹²Vì lòng nhân từ của Ngài, xin diệt kẻ thù tôi;
Xin hủy diệt tất cả những kẻ áp bức tôi,
Vì tôi là tôi tớ Chúa.

¹Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
²Do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
⚓For in Your sight no one living is righteous.
³For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.
⁴⚓Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.
⁵⚓I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
⁶I spread out my hands to You;
⚓My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.

⁷Answer me speedily, O Lord;
My spirit fails!
Do not hide Your face from me,
⚓Lest I be like those who go down into the pit.
⁸Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness ⚓in the morning,
For in You do I trust;
⚓Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,
For ⚓I lift up my soul to You.
⁹Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
In You I take shelter.
¹⁰⚓Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
⚓Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in ⚓the land of uprightness.
¹¹⚓Revive me, O Lord, for Your name’s sake!
For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
¹²In Your mercy ⚓cut off my enemies,
And destroy all those who afflict my soul;
For I am Your servant.
