2"Lah hom ma phung ƀon lan Israel, Aơ jêng mpa rêh khân may dơi sa bơh lĕ rngôch mpa gŭ ta neh ntu.
3Khân may lơi sa mpô mpa geh nchop tâm nkhah tâm dâng nđâp ta kalơ ndôp jêh ri blau njuah sa gơ̆.
4Ƀiălah tâm mpa blau njuah sa gơ̆ mâu lah geh nchop tâm nkhah, mpa aơ khân may mâu dơi sa ôh; seh samô, yorlah păng blau mƀlah gơ̆ ƀiălah mâu geh nchop nkhah ôh, jêng mâu kloh ma khân may;
5rpai bri, yorlah păng blau njuah gơ̆ ƀiălah jâng mâu tâm nkhah nchop ôh, jêng mâu kloh ma khân may;
6jêh ri rpai, yorlah păng blau njuah gơ̆ ƀiălah jâng mâu nkhah nchop ôh, jêng mâu kloh ma khân may;
7jêh ri sŭr, yorlah păng geh nchop tâm nkhah tâm dâng jêh ri kalơ, ƀiălah mâu blau njuah gơ̆ ôh, jêng mâu kloh ma khân may.
8Khân may mâu dơi sa nglay khân păng ôh, jêh ri khân may mâu dơi rbot săk jăn khĭt khân păng ôh; khân păng mâu jêng kloh ôh ma khân may.
9Mpa aơ khân may dơi sa tâm lĕ rngôch mpa gŭ tâm dak. Khân may dơi sa lĕ rngôch mpa tâm dak geh rsâng dai jêh ri nsiap gĭt lah tâm dak rlai mâu lah tâm dak n'hor.
10Ƀiălah lĕ rngôch mpa tâm dak rlai mâu lah dak n'hor mâu geh rsâng jêh ri nsiap, mpa nsong tâm dak jêh ri mpa rêh gŭ tâm dak jêng mpa khân may tâm rmot.
11Khân păng jêng mpa ăn khân may tâm rmot ƀa ƀơ; khân may mâu dơi sa nglay khân păng ôh, jêh ri ăn khân may tâm rmot ma săk jăn khĭt khân păng.
12Lĕ rngôch mpa gŭ tâm dak mâu geh rsâng dai jêh ri nsiap jêng mpa khân may tâm rmot.
13Ntil sĭm aơ ăn khân may tâm rmot, mpa aơ bu mâu dơi sa ôh, khân păng jêng mpa tâm rmot: klang, grât, klang nglang,
14klang ntơp, klang ƀŭng, tĭng nâm mpôl păng;
15lĕ rngôch ntơp tĭng nâm mpôl păng,
16ôtrus, klang kô, sĭm te văch, klang pah gui, tĭng nâm mpôl păng;
17klang bưt bưng, kômôran ibis,
18sĭm njơch dak, rchiăng, klang sa iăm ôm,
19sĭm klang kok, kik dak tĭng nâm mpôl păng, sĭm breng ba jêh ri mbing (vât).
20Lĕ rngôch mpa geh năr hăn puăn jâng jêng mpa khân may tâm rmot.
21Ƀiălah khân may dơi sa mpa geh năr hăn puăn jâng tơ lah geh jâng krŭng kalơ jâng khân păng blau nsăt ta kalơ neh.
22Mpa aơ khân may dơi sa; krah tĭng nâm mpôl păng, krah phŭ tĭng nâm mpôl păng jêh ri krah nsăt tĭng nâm mpôl păng.

25jêh ri mbu nâm ndjôt săk jăn khĭt khân păng mra pih kho ao păng jêh ri jêng ƀơ̆ tât măng.
26Ăp mpô mpa geh nchop tâm nkhah tâm dâng ƀiălah mâu tâm nkhah ta kalơ mâu lah mâu blau njuah gơ̆ ôh jêng ƀơ̆ ma khân may. Ăp mpa pah khân păng mra jêng ƀơ̆.
27Lĕ rngôch mpa hăn ma mpang jâng jêng ƀơ̆ ma khân may; mbu nâm pah săk jăn khĭt khân păng mra jêng ƀơ̆ tât măng,
28jêh ri mbu nâm ndjôt săk jăn khĭt khân păng mra pih bok ao păng jêh ri mra jêng ƀơ̆ tât măng; khân păng jêng ƀơ̆ ma khân may.
29Aơ jêng mpa ƀơ̆ ma khân may tâm mpa phung ta kalơ neh ntu aơ; sŭk, ne (đe), jêh ri nglonh tĭng nâm mpôl păng,
30pŭk ke, rya, bŭl ka, rchaih, nkuay păr.
31Mpa nây jêng ƀơ̆ ma khân may tâm lĕ mpa phung, mbu nâm rbot săk jăn khĭt păng mra jêng ƀơ̆ tât măng.
32Tơ lah săk jăn khĭt khân păng tŭp ta du mlâm mpa, mpa nây jêng ƀơ̆, mâu lah ndơ ƀư ma si, bok ao, ndơ ƀư ma ntâu, dŭng, lĕ rngôch mpa bu geh kan dŏng; ăn bu trăm păng tâm dak jêh ri păng mra jêng ƀơ̆ tât măng, jêh ri păng mra jêng kloh.
33Tơ lah mpa nây tŭp tâm yăng, lĕ mpa gŭ tâm nây mra jêng ƀơ̆ jêh ri ăn khân may nchah lơi yăng nây.
34Lĕ rngôch mpa tâm păng bu dơi sông sa vay dŏng dak ndrel mra jêng ƀơ̆; jêh ri lĕ rngôch ndơ bu vay nhêt tâm yăng tâm ban pô nây mra jêng ƀơ̆.
35Jêh ri ăp ntil mpa tơ lah du gâl săk jăn khĭt tŭp ta păng mra jêng ƀơ̆, gĭt lah năk mâu lah lŭ năk, ăn bu nchah lơi; khân păng jêng ƀơ̆, jêh ri ăn khân may kơp păng jêng ƀơ̆.
36Ƀiălah tu dak jêh ri ntu prăp dak mra jêng kloh; ƀiălah moh mpa pah săk jăn khĭt khân păng mra jêng ƀơ̆.
37Tơ lah du gâl bơh săk jăn khĭt khân păng tŭp ta kalơ ndơ prăp ntil bu mra srih, păng jêng kloh.
38Ƀiălah tơ lah bu dơm dak ta kalơ ndơ prăp ntil jêh ri du kô̆ bơh săk jăn khĭt tŭp ta ndơ prăp ntil ndơ prăp ntil nây jêng ƀơ̆ ma khân may.
39Tơ lah du mlâm mpa khân may dơi sa khĭt, mbu nâm pah săk jăn khĭt păng mra jêng ƀơ̆ tât mhaơ.
40Mbu nâm mra sa săk jăn păng khĭt păng mra pih bok ao păng jêh ri jêng ƀơ̆ tât măng; jêh ri mbu nâm djôt leo săk khĭt păng mra pih bok ao păng jêh ri jêng ƀơ̆ tât mhaơ.
41Lĕ rngôch mpô mpa phung ta neh ntu jêng mpa ăn khân may tâm rmot; bu mâu dơi sa mpa nây ôh.
42Moh mpa vơr ma ndŭl păng jêh ri moh mpa hăn ma puăn jâng, mâu lah moh mpa geh âk jâng, lĕ rngôch mpa phung ta kalơ neh ntu, khân may mâu dơi sa ôh, yorlah mpa nây jêng mpa ăn khân may tâm rmot.
43Lơi ta khân may njêng ôh ma khân may nơm mpa Yêhôva rmot, yor du mlâm mpa phung, jêh ri lơi ƀư ƀơ̆ khân may nơm ma mpa nây ôh, klach lah khân may jêng ƀơ̆.
44Yorlah gâp jêng Yêhôva Brah Ndu khân may; pô ri prăp an khân may nơm, jêh ri jêng kloh ueh, yorlah gâp nơm jêng kloh ueh. Lơi khân may ƀư ƀơ̆ khân may nơm yor du mlâm mpa phung vơr ta kalơ neh ntu.
45Yorlah gâp jêng Yêhôva njŭn leo jêh khân may luh bơh n'gor Êjipt, gay jêng Brah Ndu khân may; pô ri ăn khân may jêng kloh ueh, yorlah gâp nơm jêng kloh ueh.
46Nây jêng nau vay di ma mpô mpa, ma sĭm, ma lĕ rngôch mpa rêh mpât n'gơ nsong tâm dak, jêh ri lĕ rngôch mpa rêh geh phung ta kalơ neh ntu,
47gay ma êng mpa ƀơ̆ đah mpa kloh, mpa rêh bu dơi sa đah mpa rêh bu mâu dơi sa ôh.

Foods Permitted and Forbidden
1Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them,
2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ⚓‘These are the animals which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth:
3Among the animals, whatever divides the hoof, having cloven hooves and chewing the cud—that you may eat.
4Nevertheless these you shall ⚓not eat among those that chew the cud or those that have cloven hooves: the camel, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you;
5the rock hyrax, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you;
6the hare, because it chews the cud but does not have cloven hooves, is unclean to you;
7and the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud, ⚓is unclean to you.
8Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch. ⚓They are unclean to you.
9⚓‘These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers—that you may eat.
10But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales, all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are an ⚓abomination to you.
11They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination.
12Whatever in the water does not have fins or scales—that shall be an abomination to you.
13⚓‘And these you shall regard as an abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the buzzard,
14the kite, and the falcon after its kind;
15every raven after its kind,
16the ostrich, the short-eared owl, the sea gull, and the hawk after its kind;
17the little owl, the fisher owl, and the screech owl;
18the white owl, the jackdaw, and the carrion vulture;
19the stork, the heron after its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat.
20‘All flying insects that creep on all fours shall be an abomination to you.
21Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth.
22These you may eat: ⚓the locust after its kind, the destroying locust after its kind, the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.
23But all other flying insects which have four feet shall be an abomination to you.
Unclean Animals
24‘By these you shall become unclean; whoever touches the carcass of any of them shall be unclean until evening;
25whoever carries part of the carcass of any of them ⚓shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening:
26The carcass of any animal which divides the foot, but is not cloven-hoofed or does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. Everyone who touches it shall be unclean.
27And whatever goes on its paws, among all kinds of animals that go on all fours, those are unclean to you. Whoever touches any such carcass shall be unclean until evening.
28Whoever carries any such carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. It is unclean to you.
29‘These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the mole, ⚓the mouse, and the large lizard after its kind;
30the gecko, the monitor lizard, the sand reptile, the sand lizard, and the chameleon.
31These are unclean to you among all that creep. Whoever ⚓touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until evening.
32Anything on which any of them falls, when they are dead shall be unclean, whether it is any item of wood or clothing or skin or sack, whatever item it is, in which any work is done, ⚓it must be put in water. And it shall be unclean until evening; then it shall be clean.
33Any ⚓earthen vessel into which any of them falls ⚓you shall break; and whatever is in it shall be unclean:
34in such a vessel, any edible food upon which water falls becomes unclean, and any drink that may be drunk from it becomes unclean.
35And everything on which a part of any such carcass falls shall be unclean; whether it is an oven or cooking stove, it shall be broken down; for they are unclean, and shall be unclean to you.
36Nevertheless a spring or a cistern, in which there is plenty of water, shall be clean, but whatever touches any such carcass becomes unclean.
37And if a part of any such carcass falls on any planting seed which is to be sown, it remains clean.
38But if water is put on the seed, and if a part of any such carcass falls on it, it becomes unclean to you.
39‘And if any animal which you may eat dies, he who touches its carcass shall be ⚓unclean until evening.
40⚓He who eats of its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening. He also who carries its carcass shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening.
41‘And every creeping thing that creeps on the earth shall be an abomination. It shall not be eaten.
42Whatever crawls on its belly, whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet among all creeping things that creep on the earth—these you shall not eat, for they are an abomination.
43⚓You shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps; nor shall you make yourselves unclean with them, lest you be defiled by them.
44For I am the Lord your ⚓God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and ⚓you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
45⚓For I am the Lord who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. ⚓You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
46‘This is the law of the animals and the birds and every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps on the earth,
47⚓to distinguish between the unclean and the clean, and between the animal that may be eaten and the animal that may not be eaten.’ ”
