CHÚA Và Vị Vua Ngài Chọn Lựa
1CHÚA phán với Chúa tôi:
“Hãy ngồi bên phải ta,
Cho đến khi ta đặt các kẻ thù ngươi
Làm bệ dưới chân ngươi.”
2Từ Si-ôn CHÚA sẽ mở rộng vương quyền⚓ của ngươi.
Hãy cai trị giữa các kẻ thù ngươi.
3Trong ngày lâm chiến⚓
Dân ngươi sẽ hiến mình tình nguyện;⚓
Từ lúc sáng sớm rạng đông,
Những thanh niên tuấn tú
Được trang sức thánh sẽ đến với ngươi.⚓
4CHÚA đã thề
Và sẽ không đổi ý rằng:
“Ngươi là thầy tế lễ đời đời,
Theo ban Mên-chi-xê-đéc.”
5Chúa ở bên phải ngươi;
Trong ngày thịnh nộ, Ngài sẽ đập tan các vua.
6Ngài sẽ phán xét các nước, làm thây người chất đống;
Ngài đập tan các lãnh tụ trên khắp trái đất.
7Vua sẽ uống nước từ con suối bên đường,
Nhờ đó người sẽ ngước đầu lên.

A Psalm of David.
1The ⚓Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your ⚓footstool.”
2The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength ⚓out of Zion.
⚓Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
3⚓Your people shall be volunteers
In the day of Your power;
⚓In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.
4The Lord has sworn
And ⚓will not relent,
“You are a ⚓priest forever
According to the order of ⚓Melchizedek.”
5The Lord is⚓at Your right hand;
He shall execute kings ⚓in the day of His wrath.
6He shall judge among the nations,
He shall fill the places with dead bodies,
⚓He shall execute the heads of many countries.
7He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;
⚓Therefore He shall lift up the head.
