1Ƀing khua djă̱ akŏ djuai Gilead jing ană đah rơkơi Makhir, tơčô Manasseh, jing ƀing rai mơ̆ng sa djuai amăng ƀing kơnung djuai Yôsêp, rai pơhiăp ƀơi anăp Môseh laih anŭn ƀơi anăp ƀing khua djă̱ akŏ ƀing sang anŏ Israel.
2Ƀing gơñu laĭ tui anai, “Tơdang Yahweh pơđar kơ ih kiăng brơi anih lŏn anai kơ ƀing Israel jing kŏng ngăn ƀing gơ̆ pô hăng tơlơi ngă čram, Ñu pơtă kơ ih kiăng brơi sa kŏng ngăn ayŏng adơi gơmơi Zelophad kơ ƀing ană đah kơmơi ñu.⚓
3Samơ̆ tơdah ƀing gơñu dŏ kơ ƀing đah rơkơi phara kơnung djuai amăng Israel; giŏng anŭn arăng či mă hĭ lŏn kŏng ngăn gơñu mơ̆ng ơi adon gơmơi laih anŭn yap hrŏm hăng kŏng ngăn ƀing kơnung djuai gơñu pơdŏ anŭn yơh. Tui anŭn, črăn kŏng ngăn ngă čram laih kơ ƀing gơmơi arăng či mă pơđuaĭ hĭ yơh.
4Wơ̆t tơdah tơdang Thŭn Rŭ̱ Pơdơ̆ng Glaĭ kơ ƀing Israel truh, arăng či yap hĭ kŏng ngăn ƀing đah kơmơi anai mŭt hrŏm hăng kŏng ngăn djuai ƀing gơñu pơdŏ anŭn yơh, laih anŭn arăng či mă pơđuaĭ hĭ anih lŏn gơñu mơ̆ng kŏng ngăn kơnung djuai ƀing ơi adon gơmơi yơh.”
5Giŏng anŭn, ƀơi tơlơi Yahweh pơđar, Môseh brơi tơlơi pơtă anai kơ ƀing Israel, “Ƀing kơnung djuai Yôsêp pơhiăp djơ̆ yơh.
6Anai yơh jing tơlơi Yahweh pơđar kơ ƀing ană đah kơmơi Zelophad: Ƀing gơñu dưi pơdŏ hăng hlơi pô ƀing gơñu khăp tơdah ƀing gơñu kơnơ̆ng pơdŏ amăng kơnung djuai ama gơñu đôč.
7Ƀu hơmâo lŏn kŏng ngăn pă ôh amăng ƀing Israel či lŏm kơ kơnung djuai anai ƀôdah kơ kơnung djuai adih, yuakơ rĭm ƀing Israel či djă̱ pioh lŏn kơnung djuai gơñu mơ̆ng ƀing ơi adon ñu yơh.
8Rĭm đah kơmơi jing pô mă tŭ kŏng ngăn khŏm pơdŏ hăng pô amăng kơnung djuai ama ñu, tui anŭn rĭm ƀing Israel či mă tŭ kŏng ngăn ơi adon ñu yơh.
9Ƀu hơmâo kŏng ngăn pă ôh či ba mơ̆ng kơnung djuai anai nao pơ kơnung djuai adih, yuakơ rĭm ƀing Israel či djă̱ pioh lŏn kŏng ngăn hơmâo mă tŭ laih.”
10Tui anŭn, ƀing ană đah kơmơi Zelophad ngă tui hăng tơlơi Yahweh pơđar laih kơ Môseh.
11Anăn ƀing ană đah kơmơi Zelophad jing HʼMahlah, HʼTirzah, HʼHoglah, HʼMilkah laih anŭn HʼNoah; ƀing gơñu pơdŏ hăng ƀing ană đah rơkơi met wa gah ama gơñu.
12Ƀing gơñu pơdŏ amăng kơnung djuai Manasseh jing ană đah rơkơi Yôsêp, laih anŭn lŏn kŏng ngăn gơñu ăt dŏ glaĭ amăng djuai ama gơñu wơ̆t hăng amăng kơnung djuai ơi adon gơñu mơ̆n.
13Anŭn yơh jing khul tơlơi pơđar laih anŭn khul tơlơi phiăn Yahweh brơi laih mơ̆ng Môseh kơ ƀing Israel ƀơi khul anih tơdron dap Môab jĕ krong Yurdan klă̱ anăp hăng plei pơnăng Yerêhô.

Inheritance of Zelophehad’s Daughters
1The family heads of the clan of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh, who were from the clans of the descendants of Joseph, came and spoke before Moses and the leaders, the heads of the Israelite families.
2They said, “When the Lord commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.
3Now suppose they marry men from other Israelite tribes; then their inheritance will be taken from our ancestral inheritance and added to that of the tribe they marry into. And so part of the inheritance allotted to us will be taken away.
4When the Year of Jubilee for the Israelites comes, their inheritance will be added to that of the tribe into which they marry, and their property will be taken from the tribal inheritance of our ancestors.”
5Then at the Lord’s command Moses gave this order to the Israelites: “What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right.
6This is what the Lord commands for Zelophehad’s daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within their father’s tribal clan.
7No inheritance in Israel is to pass from one tribe to another, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal inheritance of their ancestors.
8Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father’s tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of their ancestors.
9No inheritance may pass from one tribe to another, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits.”
10So Zelophehad’s daughters did as the Lord commanded Moses.
11Zelophehad’s daughters—Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milkah and Noah—married their cousins on their father’s side.
12They married within the clans of the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in their father’s tribe and clan.
13These are the commands and regulations the Lord gave through Moses to the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
