¹Lạy CHÚA, xin xét cho tôi
Vì tôi sống liêm khiết,⚓
Tôi đã tin cậy nơi CHÚA,
Không hề lay chuyển.
²Lạy CHÚA, xin xem xét và thử thách tôi,
Xin rèn luyện lòng dạ, tâm trí tôi.
³Vì tình yêu thương Ngài ở trước mặt tôi,
Tôi bước đi trong chân lý của Ngài.
⁴Tôi không ngồi chung với người gian trá,
Cũng không giao thiệp với kẻ đạo đức giả.
⁵Tôi ghét bọn người gian ác,
Và không ngồi chung với những kẻ dữ.
⁶Lạy CHÚA, tôi rửa tay tôi trong sự vô tội,
Và đi quanh bàn thờ Ngài.
⁷Tôi cất tiếng cảm tạ,
Và loan truyền mọi công việc diệu kỳ của Ngài.
⁸Lạy CHÚA, tôi yêu mến đền Ngài ở và nơi vinh quang Ngài ngự.
⁹Xin chớ cất linh hồn tôi đi cùng với những người tội lỗi,
Cũng đừng cất mạng sống tôi chung với những kẻ khát máu.
¹⁰Là những kẻ có tay gian ác,
Tay phải chúng đầy của hối lộ.
¹¹Còn tôi, tôi sống liêm khiết.
Xin cứu chuộc và thương xót tôi.
¹²Chân tôi đứng vững trên đất bằng,
Tôi sẽ ca tụng CHÚA trong các hội chúng.

A Prayer for Divine Scrutiny and Redemption

A Psalm of David.

¹Vindicate ⚓me, O Lord,
For I have ⚓walked in my integrity.
⚓I have also trusted in the Lord;
I shall not slip.
²⚓Examine me, O Lord, and prove me;
Try my mind and my heart.
³For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes,
And ⚓I have walked in Your truth.
⁴I have not ⚓sat with idolatrous mortals,
Nor will I go in with hypocrites.
⁵I have ⚓hated the assembly of evildoers,
And will not sit with the wicked.
⁶I will wash my hands in innocence;
So I will go about Your altar, O Lord,
⁷That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving,
And tell of all Your wondrous works.
⁸Lord, ⚓I have loved the habitation of Your house,
And the place where Your glory dwells.
⁹⚓Do not gather my soul with sinners,
Nor my life with bloodthirsty men,
¹⁰In whose hands is a sinister scheme,
And whose right hand is full of ⚓bribes.
¹¹But as for me, I will walk in my integrity;
Redeem me and be merciful to me.
¹²⚓My foot stands in an even place;
In the congregations I will bless the Lord.
