Lời than thở vì đất nước bị tàn phá
Huấn ca của A-sáp
1Đức Chúa Trời ôi! Vì sao Chúa bỏ chúng con luôn luôn?
Tại sao cơn giận Chúa nổi phừng cùng bầy chiên của đồng cỏ Ngài?
2Xin nhớ lại hội mà Chúa đã lập từ xưa,
Bộ tộc mà Ngài đã chuộc để làm cơ nghiệp của Ngài;
Cũng xin nhớ đến núi Si-ôn là nơi Chúa đã ngự.
3Xin Chúa quá bước đến những nơi đổ nát hoàn toàn:
Kẻ thù đã phá hủy hết mọi vật trong nơi thánh.
4Các cừu địch Chúa gầm thét giữa nơi hội họp;
Chúng dựng cờ lên để làm dấu hiệu.
5Chúng giống như người đốn cây cầm rìu giơ lên
Chặt đám rừng rậm kia.
6Bây giờ chúng dùng rìu và búa
Đập bể tất cả vật chạm trổ.
7Chúng đã phóng hỏa đốt nơi thánh của Chúa,
Triệt hạ và làm ô uế nơi ngự của danh Ngài.
8Chúng tự nhủ: “Chúng ta hãy nghiền nát chúng.”
Chúng đã đốt các nhà hội của Đức Chúa Trời trong xứ.
9Chúng con chẳng còn thấy các dấu lạ,
Cũng không còn nhà tiên tri nào nữa;
Và giữa chúng con cũng chẳng ai biết việc nầy sẽ kéo dài bao lâu.
10Đức Chúa Trời ôi! Kẻ chống nghịch sẽ sỉ nhục Ngài cho đến chừng nào?
Kẻ thù cứ xúc phạm danh Ngài mãi sao?
11Sao Chúa rút tay lại, tức là tay phải của Ngài?
Xin vung tay ra và tiêu diệt chúng đi!
12Dầu vậy, từ nghìn xưa, Đức Chúa Trời là Vua của con
Ngài thi hành sự cứu rỗi trên khắp đất.
13Chúa đã dùng quyền năng Ngài mà rẽ biển ra,⚓
Đập nát đầu của quái vật dưới nước.
14Chúa chà nát đầu Lê-vi-a-than,⚓⚓
Ban nó làm thực phẩm cho dân⚓ sống trong hoang mạc.
15Chúa khiến suối và khe phun nước,
Và làm cho các sông lớn phải cạn khô.
16Ngày thuộc về Chúa, đêm cũng thuộc về Chúa;
Ngài đã thiết lập mặt trăng⚓ và mặt trời.
17Chúa đã định các ranh giới của đất,
Làm nên mùa hè và mùa đông.
18Lạy Đức Giê-hô-va, xin nhớ rằng kẻ thù đã sỉ nhục,
Và một dân ngu dại đã xúc phạm danh Ngài.
19Xin chớ phó sinh mạng bồ câu của Chúa cho loài dã thú;
Cũng đừng quên mãi mãi cuộc sống của kẻ khốn cùng, là dân Chúa.
20Xin Chúa đoái đến giao ước của Ngài,
Vì các nơi tối tăm của đất đều là nơi đầy bạo hành.
21Nguyện kẻ bị áp bức không trở về trong hổ thẹn;
Nguyện kẻ khốn cùng và người thiếu thốn ca ngợi danh Ngài.
22Lạy Đức Chúa Trời, xin trỗi dậy bênh vực lý lẽ của Ngài.
Xin nhớ lại bọn ngu dại hằng ngày chế nhạo Ngài.
23Xin đừng quên tiếng la hét của kẻ thù Chúa,
Sự ồn ào của kẻ phản nghịch Ngài cứ mãi dâng lên.
1O God, why have you rejected us forever?
Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
2Remember the nation you purchased long ago,
the people of your inheritance, whom you redeemed—
Mount Zion, where you dwelt.
3Turn your steps toward these everlasting ruins,
all this destruction the enemy has brought on the sanctuary.
4Your foes roared in the place where you met with us;
they set up their standards as signs.
5They behaved like men wielding axes
to cut through a thicket of trees.
6They smashed all the carved paneling
with their axes and hatchets.
7They burned your sanctuary to the ground;
they defiled the dwelling place of your Name.
8They said in their hearts, “We will crush them completely!”
They burned every place where God was worshiped in the land.
9We are given no signs from God;
no prophets are left,
and none of us knows how long this will be.
10How long will the enemy mock you, God?
Will the foe revile your name forever?
11Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand?
Take it from the folds of your garment and destroy them!
12But God is my King from long ago;
he brings salvation on the earth.
13It was you who split open the sea by your power;
you broke the heads of the monster in the waters.
14It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan
and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.
15It was you who opened up springs and streams;
you dried up the ever-flowing rivers.
16The day is yours, and yours also the night;
you established the sun and moon.
17It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth;
you made both summer and winter.
18Remember how the enemy has mocked you, Lord,
how foolish people have reviled your name.
19Do not hand over the life of your dove to wild beasts;
do not forget the lives of your afflicted people forever.
20Have regard for your covenant,
because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.
21Do not let the oppressed retreat in disgrace;
may the poor and needy praise your name.
22Rise up, O God, and defend your cause;
remember how fools mock you all day long.
23Do not ignore the clamor of your adversaries,
the uproar of your enemies, which rises continually.
