论推罗的信息

¹论推罗的默示。

哀号吧，他施的船只！
因为推罗已成废墟，没有房屋存留，
他们从基提地来的时候，得到这个消息⚓。
²沿海的居民，西顿的商家啊，
当静默无声。
你差人航海⚓，
³在大水之上，
西曷河的粮食、
尼罗河的庄稼是推罗的进项，
它就成为列国的商埠。
⁴西顿，你这海洋中的堡垒啊，应当羞愧，
因为大海说⚓：
“我未经历产痛，也没有生产，
未曾养育男孩，也没有抚养女孩。”
⁵推罗的风声传到埃及时，
他们为这风声极其疼痛。
⁶你们当渡到他施去，
哀号吧，沿海的居民！
⁷这就是你们那古老欢乐的城市吗？
它的脚曾带人到远方居住。
⁸谁定意推罗有这样的遭遇呢？
它本是赐冠冕的，
它的商家是王子，
生意人是世上尊贵的人。

⁹这是万军之耶和华所定的，
为要贬抑一切荣耀的狂傲，
使地上一切尊贵的人被藐视。
¹⁰他施⚓啊，
你要像尼罗河一样在你的地泛滥，
不再有腰带的束缚了。⚓
¹¹耶和华已经向海伸手，
震动列国；
他出令对付迦南，
要拆毁其中的堡垒。

¹²他说：“受欺压的少女西顿⚓哪，
你必不再欢乐。
起来！渡到基提去，
就是在那里也不得安歇。
¹³看哪，迦勒底人之地，这国民如今已不复存在。亚述人使它⚓成为住旷野者的居所。他们建筑自己的瞭望楼，拆毁它的宫殿，使它成为荒凉。
¹⁴哀号吧，他施的船只！
因你们的堡垒已成废墟。
¹⁵到那时，推罗必被忘记七十年，就是一位君王的年数。七十年后，推罗的景况必如妓女之歌：
¹⁶“你这被遗忘的妓女啊，
带着琴周游城内，
弹得美妙，唱许多歌，
好让人记得你。”
¹⁷七十年后，耶和华必巡视推罗，使它再度获利⚓，与地面上的世界各国贸易⚓。 ¹⁸它的收益和获利都要归耶和华为圣，不再私自屯积存留；因为它的收益必归给住在耶和华面前的人，使他们吃饱，穿华丽的衣服。

Proclamation Against Tyre

¹The ⚓burden against Tyre.
Wail, you ships of Tarshish!
For it is laid waste,
So that there is no house, no harbor;
From the land of Cyprus it is revealed to them.
²Be still, you inhabitants of the coastland,
You merchants of Sidon,
Whom those who cross the sea have filled.
³And on great waters the grain of Shihor,
The harvest of the River, is her revenue;
And ⚓she is a marketplace for the nations.
⁴Be ashamed, O Sidon;
For the sea has spoken,
The strength of the sea, saying,
“I do not labor, nor bring forth children;
Neither do I rear young men,
Nor bring up virgins.”
⁵⚓When the report reaches Egypt,
They also will be in agony at the report of Tyre.
⁶Cross over to Tarshish;
Wail, you inhabitants of the coastland!
⁷Is this your ⚓joyous city,
Whose antiquity is from ancient days,
Whose feet carried her far off to dwell?
⁸Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, ⚓the crowning city,
Whose merchants are princes,
Whose traders are the honorable of the earth?
⁹The Lord of hosts has ⚓purposed it,
To bring to dishonor the ⚓pride of all glory,
To bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
¹⁰Overflow through your land like the River,
O daughter of Tarshish;
There is no more strength.
¹¹He stretched out His hand over the sea,
He shook the kingdoms;
The Lord has given a commandment ⚓against Canaan
To destroy its strongholds.
¹²And He said, “You will rejoice no more,
O you oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon.
Arise, ⚓cross over to Cyprus;
There also you will have no rest.”
¹³Behold, the land of the ⚓Chaldeans,
This people which was not;
Assyria founded it for ⚓wild beasts of the desert.
They set up its towers,
They raised up its palaces,
And brought it to ruin.
¹⁴⚓Wail, you ships of Tarshish!
For your strength is laid waste.
¹⁵Now it shall come to pass in that day that Tyre will be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king. At the end of seventy years it will happen to Tyre as in the song of the harlot:
¹⁶“Take a harp, go about the city,
You forgotten harlot;
Make sweet melody, sing many songs,
That you may be remembered.”
¹⁷And it shall be, at the end of seventy years, that the Lord will deal with Tyre. She will return to her hire, and ⚓commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth. ¹⁸Her gain and her pay ⚓will be set apart for the Lord; it will not be treasured nor laid up, for her gain will be for those who dwell before the Lord, to eat sufficiently, and for fine clothing.
