Ê-phê-sô

¹Hãy viết cho nhà lãnh đạo⚓ Hội thánh Ê-phê-sô:
“Đây là thông điệp⚓ của Đấng cầm bảy ngôi sao trong tay phải và đi lại giữa bảy giá đèn bằng vàng. ²Ta biết công việc con, nỗi lao khổ và lòng nhẫn nại của con. Ta biết con không thể dung thứ kẻ ác; con đã thử nghiệm những người mạo xưng là sứ đồ và lột mặt nạ của họ. ³Con đã nhẫn nại chịu khổ vì danh Ta, không biết mỏi mệt.
⁴Nhưng Ta khiển trách con vì con đã đánh mất tình yêu ban đầu, khi con mới theo Ta. ⁵Hãy nhớ lại con đã sa sút từ đâu, phải ăn năn và làm những việc con đã làm ban đầu. Nếu không, Ta sẽ sớm đến, cất bỏ giá đèn con khỏi chỗ nó. ⁶Tuy nhiên con còn một ưu điểm: con ghét công việc của phái Ni-cô-la mà Ta cũng ghét nữa.
⁷Ai có tai hãy lắng nghe lời Thánh Linh kêu gọi các Hội thánh: Những người chiến thắng, Ta sẽ cho ăn trái cây hằng sống trong Vườn của Thượng Đế.”⚓

Si-miệc-nơ

⁸Hãy viết cho nhà lãnh đạo Hội thánh Si-miệc-nơ:
“Đây là thông điệp của Đấng Đầu tiên và Cuối cùng, Đấng đã chết và sống lại: ⁹Ta biết nỗi gian khổ, sự nghèo thiếu của con — nhưng thật ra con giàu có. Ta cũng nghe lời vu cáo của những kẻ mạo danh con cái Thượng Đế⚓ mà thật ra là hội viên của Sa-tan.
¹⁰Đừng sợ những nỗi gian khổ sắp đến. Này, Quỷ vương sẽ thử thách con, tống giam một vài người vào ngục tối; và con sẽ bị khủng bố trong mười ngày. Hãy trung thành với Ta dù phải chết; Ta sẽ cho con mũ miện của sự sống vĩnh viễn.
¹¹Ai có tai hãy lắng nghe lời Thánh Linh kêu gọi các Hội thánh: Những người chiến thắng sẽ không bị chết lần thứ hai.”

Bẹt-găm

¹²Hãy viết cho nhà lãnh đạo Hội thánh Bẹt-găm:
“Đây là thông điệp của Đấng có thanh gươm hai lưỡi sắc bén: ¹³Ta biết thành phố con là ngai của Sa-tan. Tuy nhiên, con đã giữ vững đức tin, không chối bỏ danh Ta, ngay cả lúc An-ty-ba nhân chứng trung thành của Ta bị giết tại Bẹt- găm, là nơi Sa-tan ở.
¹⁴Nhưng Ta phải khiển trách con vài điều: con có những người theo đường lối của Ba-la-am, người đã dạy Ba-lác cách quyến rũ dân Y-sơ-ra-ên phạm tội gian dâm và ăn của cúng thần tượng. ¹⁵Con cũng có những kẻ theo phái Ni-cô-la. ¹⁶Vậy, hãy ăn năn, nếu không Ta sẽ sớm đến, dùng thanh gươm ở miệng ta đánh dẹp bọn đó.
¹⁷Ai có tai, hãy lắng nghe lời Thánh Linh kêu gọi các Hội thánh: Những người chiến thắng, Ta sẽ cho ăn ma-na⚓ giữ kín. Ta sẽ cho mỗi người một viên đá trắng ghi tên mới Ta đặt cho, ngoài người nhận không ai biết được.”

Thi-a-ti-rơ

¹⁸Hãy viết cho nhà lãnh đạo Hội thánh Thi-a-ti-rơ:
“Đây là thông điệp của Con Thượng Đế, Đấng có mắt sáng như ngọn lửa, chân như đồng tinh luyện trong lò: ¹⁹Ta biết những việc con làm với tình yêu thương, đức tin, tinh thần phục vụ và lòng nhẫn nại. Con sẽ còn làm nhiều hơn nữa.
²⁰Nhưng đây là điều Ta khiển trách: con dung túng cho Giê-sa-bên, kẻ tự xưng là nữ tiên tri, nhưng dạy dỗ và quyến rũ các tôi tớ Ta phạm tội gian dâm và ăn của cúng thần tượng. ²¹Ta đã cho nó thì giờ ăn năn, nhưng nó không chịu từ bỏ tội gian dâm. ²²Vậy, Ta sẽ khiến nó chịu đau đớn kinh khiếp trên giường bệnh, cũng như những kẻ gian dâm với nó, trừ phi chúng nó ăn năn.
²³Ta sẽ trừ diệt con cái nó, và mọi Hội thánh sẽ biết Ta là Đấng thăm dò lòng dạ loài người; Ta sẽ báo ứng mỗi người tùy công việc họ làm.
²⁴Riêng những người tại Thi-a-ti-rơ không chịu theo tà thuyết này — không học đòi điều họ gọi là “lẽ thâm thúy của Sa-tan” — Ta sẽ không để các con mang gánh nặng gì khác, ²⁵miễn là các con giữ vững điều mình có cho tới khi Ta đến.
²⁶Những người nào chiến thắng và tiếp tục làm công việc Ta đến cuối cùng, Ta sẽ cho quyền thống trị các nước. ²⁷Họ sẽ cai trị bằng một cây trượng sắt và đập tan chúng nó như đồ gốm, cũng như Ta đã nhận quyền thống lĩnh nơi Cha Ta. ²⁸Ta cũng sẽ cho họ ngôi sao mai.
²⁹Ai có tai, hãy nghe lời Thánh Linh kêu gọi các Hội thánh!”

To the Church in Ephesus

¹“To the angel⚓of the church in Ephesus write:
These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands. ²I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. ³You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.
⁴Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. ⁵Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. ⁶But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
⁷Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

To the Church in Smyrna

⁸“To the angel of the church in Smyrna write:
These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again. ⁹I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. ¹⁰Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.
¹¹Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.

To the Church in Pergamum

¹²“To the angel of the church in Pergamum write:
These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword. ¹³I know where you live—where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city—where Satan lives.
¹⁴Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. ¹⁵Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. ¹⁶Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
¹⁷Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

To the Church in Thyatira

¹⁸“To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. ¹⁹I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.
²⁰Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. ²¹I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. ²²So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. ²³I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
²⁴Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, ²⁵except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
²⁶To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— ²⁷that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’⚓—just as I have received authority from my Father. ²⁸I will also give that one the morning star. ²⁹Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
