Nau Tât Yor Nau Rluk
1Rhuay hĭt jêh ƀư ƀâu ôm dak ƀâu ah nơm njêng păng; tâm ban âny lĕ nau rluk nkhơng dơi ƀư oh nau blau mĭn jêh ri nau yơk.
2Play uih bunuyh blau mĭn gŭ pama (nâm bu ntĭt nuih 'hâm du huê nuyh blau mĭn ntrôl păng peh nau di);
bi ma play nuih du huê bunuyh rluk gŭ mpeh pachia (nâm bu ntĭt ƀiălah nuih n'hâm du uê rluk ntrôl păng mpeh nau vĭ jêh.
3Nđâp ơlah păng rluk hăn ta trong, păng mâu eh nau mĭn ôh,
jêh ri păng lah ma ăp nuyh pô aơ păng êng nuyh rluk.
4Tơlah ơm chiă uănh hao ji nuih ma may, lơi may du h tă bơh ntŭk may; yorlah nau rdơ̆ rbăn may neching lơi gay bah au tih toyh.
5Geh u nau mhĭk gâp saơ tâm dâng măt ar, nâm bu du huê nơm chiă uănh ƀư au vĭ-vĭr.
6Nau luk gŭ ta kalơ, jêh ri phung ndrŏng gŭ tâm dâng.
7Gâp ĕ saơ jêh phung dĭk bu ncho she, jêh ri phung kôranh brô̆ jâng nâm bu ĭk bu.
8Mbu ơm kuyh ntu mra tô̆p tâm ntu nây, jêh ri du mlâm bih (bêih) mra chôk nơm ôk mpir.
9Mbu ơm rlă lŭ trơn ntŭk păng, mra geh nau sôt lŭ ntŭn, jêh ri nơm rlah long mâu lăng rlăp geh au mhĭk đăk long nây.
10Tơlah măt ung lĕ ƀât jêh, tơlah bu mâu theng h, păng mra nsan dŏng nau dăng suan âk ơn; ƀiălah nau blau mĭn kơl bu geh nau dơi.
11Tơlah bih (bêih) hôk ê-lor bu nđơih păng ăn ơih, ôri nơm nđơih mâu jêng khlay ôh.
12Nau ngơi bơh âr mbung bunuyh blau mĭn, ngơi ăn tât au bu yô̆ ma păng, ƀiălah mpiăt bunuyh rluk ngơi ƀư rai ăng nơm.
13Nau ngơi bơh âr mbung păng ngơi, ntơm saơm jêng luk, jêh ri nglĕ dŭt jêng moih djơh găn
14Bunuyh rluk hay ngơi k nau; nđâp tơlah pônây, păng âu gĭt ôh nau mra tât; jêh ri mbu nơm oh mbơh nau mra geh ma păng kăndơ̆?
15Kan bunuyh rluk ƀư ŏt raah păng nơm, yorlah păng mâu gĭt a ntŭk trong hăn rlet ma ƀon toyh.
16Hơi n'gor ri, rêh ni ngăn ma may; tơlah geh hađăch hôm-e kon se, jêh ri phung kôranh mau gŭ nhêt sa ntơm ơh ang ôi!
17Hơi n'gor ri, Maak ngăn ma may, tơlah hađăch may jêng bunuyh kon me (noi lư nam), jêh ri phung kôranh may geh nau nhêt sa di ông,
gay geh nau ngăch prăl, mâu di ôh ŭch a nhŭl ndrănh!
18Yor ti ƀlao ah chor ngih dĭng văm; yor ti ăp năm mâu ư ngih vâl dĭng truh.
19Bu nkra ndơ hêt sông sa prăp ma nau pâl rlưn, jêh ri dak play kriăk ƀâu ƀư maak au rêh; geh prăk rêl kơl lĕ ntil nau bu ŭch.
20Nđâp tâm au mĭn may lơi rak rtăp hađăch ôh; nđâp tơlah tâm jrô may bêch tâm an lĕ lơi rtăp rak bunuyh kuăng ndrŏng; yorlah sĭm mpăr kalơ trôk mra rƀiah bâr gơi may, jêh ri du mlâm mpa geh ntĭng năr ra mbơh nau nây.

1Dead flies putrefy the perfumer’s ointment,
And cause it to give off a foul odor;
So does a little folly to one respected for wisdom and honor.
2A wise man’s heart is at his right hand,
But a fool’s heart at his left.
3Even when a fool walks along the way,
He lacks wisdom,
⚓And he shows everyone that he is a fool.
4If the spirit of the ruler rises against you,
⚓Do not leave your post;
For ⚓conciliation pacifies great offenses.
5There is an evil I have seen under the sun,
As an error proceeding from the ruler:
6⚓Folly is set in great dignity,
While the rich sit in a lowly place.
7I have seen servants ⚓on horses,
While princes walk on the ground like servants.
8⚓He who digs a pit will fall into it,
And whoever breaks through a wall will be bitten by a serpent.
9He who quarries stones may be hurt by them,
And he who splits wood may be endangered by it.
10If the ax is dull,
And one does not sharpen the edge,
Then he must use more strength;
But wisdom brings success.
11A serpent may bite ⚓when it is not charmed;
The babbler is no different.
12⚓The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But ⚓the lips of a fool shall swallow him up;
13The words of his mouth begin with foolishness,
And the end of his talk is raving madness.
14⚓A fool also multiplies words.
No man knows what is to be;
Who can tell him ⚓what will be after him?
15The labor of fools wearies them,
For they do not even know how to go to the city!
16⚓Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child,
And your princes feast in the morning!
17Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobles,
And your ⚓princes feast at the proper time—
For strength and not for drunkenness!
18Because of laziness the building decays,
And ⚓through idleness of hands the house leaks.
19A feast is made for laughter,
And ⚓wine makes merry;
But money answers everything.
20⚓Do not curse the king, even in your thought;
Do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom;
For a bird of the air may carry your voice,
And a bird in flight may tell the matter.
