Y-Êsai khua pô hưn êlâo anak êkei Y-Amôt nao kơ ñu leh anăn lač, “Snei Yêhôwa lač, ‘Mkra bruă sang ih, kyuadah ih srăng djiê, ih amâo srăng hlao ôh.’ ” ²Snăn Y-Hêsêkia wir hĕ ƀô̆ ñu phă mtih leh anăn wah lač kơ Yêhôwa, lač, ³“Hdơr bĕ ară anei, Ơ Yêhôwa, kâo kwưh kơ ih, klei kâo êbat leh ti anăp ih hŏng klei sĭt suôr leh anăn hŏng jih ai tiê, leh anăn ngă leh klei jăk ti anăp ală ih.” Leh anăn Y-Hêsêkia hia ênguôt snăk. ⁴Êlâo Y-Êsai kbiă mơ̆ng wăl sang ti krah, Yêhôwa blŭ kơ ñu, ⁵“Lŏ nao leh anăn lač bĕ kơ Y-Hêsêkia khua kơ phung ƀuôn sang kâo, ‘Snei Yêhôwa Aê Diê Y-Đawit aê ih lač: Kâo hmư̆ leh klei ih wah lač, kâo ƀuh leh êa ală ih. Nĕ anei kâo srăng bi hlao ih. Ti hruê tal tlâo ih srăng đĭ nao kơ sang Yêhôwa. ⁶Leh anăn kâo srăng lŏ thiăm pluh êma thŭn brei ih lŏ dôk hdĭp. Kâo srăng bi mtlaih ih leh anăn ƀuôn anei mơ̆ng kngan mtao Asiri, leh anăn kâo srăng mgang ƀuôn anei kyua kâo pô leh anăn kyua dĭng buăl kâo Y-Đawit.’ ” ⁷Y-Êsai lač, “Mă ba sa klŏ boh hra, leh anăn brei arăng mă leh anăn dưm ti anôk tiêng, čiăng kơ ñu dưi hlao.”
⁸Y-Hêsêkia lač kơ Y-Êsai, “Ya jing klei bi knăl kơ Yêhôwa srăng bi hlao kâo leh anăn kơ klei kâo srăng đĭ nao kơ sang Yêhôwa ti hruê tal tlâo?” ⁹Y-Êsai lač, “Anei jing klei bi knăl kơ ih mơ̆ng Yêhôwa, klei Yêhôwa srăng ngă klei ñu ƀuăn leh: êyui srăng nao phă anăp pluh knhuang mơ̆ amâodah kdŭn phă tluôn pluh knhuang?” ¹⁰Y-Hêsêkia lŏ wĭt lač, “Jing sa klei ênưih kơ êyui nao phă anăp pluh knhuang; jăk hĭn brei êyui kdŭn phă tluôn pluh knhuang.” ¹¹Leh anăn Y-Êsai khua pô hưn êlâo kwưh kơ Yêhôwa; leh anăn Yêhôwa bi kdŭn êyui pluh knhuang, hŏng klei anăn yang hruê kdŭn phă tluôn ti mmông Y-Ahas.

Y-Hêsêkia Jum Phung Dĭng Ktang Mơ̆ng Ƀuôn Ƀaƀilôn

¹²Hlăm ênuk anăn Y-Merôdak-Baladan anak êkei Y-Baladan mtao Ƀaƀilôn tiŏ nao phung dĭng ktang mâo hră leh anăn dŏ myơr kơ Y-Hêsêkia, kyuadah gơ̆ hmư̆ leh Y-Hêsêkia mâo klei ruă. ¹³Y-Hêsêkia jum digơ̆ hŏng klei jăk, leh anăn ñu bi êdah kơ digơ̆ jih jang sang ngăn drăp ñu, prăk, mah, êa ƀâo mngưi, êa ƀâo mngưi yuôm, sang dưm mnơ̆ng ñu bi blah, jih jang mnơ̆ng mâo hlăm hjiê ñu; amâo mâo sa mnơ̆ng hlăm sang ñu amâodah hlăm jih ƀuôn ala mtao ñu Y-Hêsêkia amâo bi êdah ôh kơ digơ̆. ¹⁴Leh anăn Y-Êsai khua pô hưn êlâo nao kơ mtao Hêsêkia leh anăn lač kơ ñu, “Ya phung êkei anăn lač, leh anăn mơ̆ng anôk diñu hriê kơ ih?” Y-Hêsêkia lač, “Diñu hriê mơ̆ng sa boh čar kbưi, čar Ƀaƀilôn.” ¹⁵Gơ̆ lač, “Ya diñu ƀuh leh hlăm sang ih?” Y-Hêsêkia lŏ wĭt lač, “Diñu ƀuh leh jih jang mnơ̆ng hlăm sang kâo; amâo mâo ôh sa mnơ̆ng hlăm hjiê kâo, kâo amâo bi êdah kơ diñu.”
¹⁶Snăn Y-Êsai lač kơ Y-Hêsêkia, “Hmư̆ bĕ klei Yêhôwa blŭ: ¹⁷ Nĕ anei hruê srăng truh tơdah jih jang mnơ̆ng mâo hlăm sang ih leh anăn ya mnơ̆ng phung aê ih mkăm leh truh kơ hruê anei, arăng srăng mă ba kơ čar Ƀaƀilôn; amâo mâo sa mta mnơ̆ng srăng ăt dôk ôh, Yêhôwa lač. ¹⁸ Leh anăn đa đa phung anak êkei ih pô arăng kkiêng leh kơ ih arăng srăng mă ba; leh anăn digơ̆ srăng jing phung dĭng buăl kriâo hlăm sang mtao Ƀaƀilôn.” ¹⁹Y-Hêsêkia lač kơ Y-Êsai, “Klei Yêhôwa blŭ ih hưn leh anăn jing jăk.” Kyuadah ñu mĭn, “Si amâo jăk tơdah srăng mâo klei êđăp ênang leh anăn klei hơĭt hlăm ênuk kâo?”

Klei Y-Hêsêkia Djiê

(II KYD 32:32-33)

²⁰Bruă mkăn Y-Hêsêkia ngă, leh anăn jih klei ktang ñu, leh anăn klei ñu ngă ênao êa leh anăn mbông êa leh anăn mđoh bi truh êa hlăm ƀuôn, amâo djŏ hĕ arăng čih leh hlăm hdruôm hră Klei Yăl Dliê kơ Phung Mtao Yuđa? ²¹Leh anăn Y-Hêsêkia djiê nao dôk mbĭt hŏng phung aê ñu; leh anăn Y-Manasê anak êkei ñu kiă kriê čuê ñu.

Hezekiah’s Life Extended

¹In ⚓those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’ ”
²Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, ³⚓“Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
⁴And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the Lord came to him, saying, ⁵“Return and tell Hezekiah ⚓the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: ⚓“I have heard your prayer, I have seen ⚓your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. ⁶And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and ⚓I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.” ’ ”
⁷Then ⚓Isaiah said, “Take a lump of figs.” So they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
⁸And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, ⚓“What is the sign that the Lord will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of the Lord the third day?”
⁹Then Isaiah said, ⚓“This is the sign to you from the Lord, that the Lord will do the thing which He has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees or go backward ten degrees?”
¹⁰And Hezekiah answered, “It is an easy thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees; no, but let the shadow go backward ten degrees.”
¹¹So Isaiah the prophet cried out to the Lord, and ⚓He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down on the sundial of Ahaz.

The Babylonian Envoys

¹²⚓At that time Berodach-Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that Hezekiah had been sick. ¹³And ⚓Hezekiah was attentive to them, and showed them all the house of his treasures—the silver and gold, the spices and precious ointment, and all his armory—all that was found among his treasures. There was nothing in his house or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.
¹⁴Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say, and from where did they come to you?”
So Hezekiah said, “They came from a far country, from Babylon.”
¹⁵And he said, “What have they seen in your house?”
So Hezekiah answered, ⚓“They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”
¹⁶Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord: ¹⁷‘Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, ⚓shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,’ says the Lord. ¹⁸‘And ⚓they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; ⚓and they shall be ⚓eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.’ ”
¹⁹So Hezekiah said to Isaiah, ⚓“The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good!” For he said, “Will there not be peace and truth at least in my days?”

Death of Hezekiah

²⁰⚓Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah—all his might, and how he ⚓made a ⚓pool and a tunnel and ⚓brought water into the city—are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? ²¹So ⚓Hezekiah rested with his fathers. Then Manasseh his son reigned in his place.
