Thơ A-sáp
1Thượng Đế đăng đường ngự ngai thánh Và xử đoán giữa các thần:
2“Các ngươi phân xử bất công đến bao giờ? Và thiên vị người gian ác mãi mãi sao?
3Hãy xử công minh cho những người cô thế, trẻ mồ côi,
Bảo vệ quyền lợi người bị áp bức, tuyệt vọng,
4Giải cứu người nghèo khổ, khốn cùng,
Ra khỏi tay bọn cường hào ác bá!"
5Thế nhưng họ chẳng bao giờ hiểu biết,
Họ mò mẫm trong bóng tối âm u,
Nền tảng thế nhân vì thế phải lung lay.
6Ta xác nhận: "Các ngươi là thần,
Tất cả là con trai của Đấng Chí cao.
7Tuy nhiên, các ngươi sẽ chết như người phàm,
Và ngã xuống như các vương hầu khác."
8Thưa Thượng Đế, xin vùng dậy xét xử thế gian,
Vì tất cả các dân tộc dều thuộc về Ngài.

A Plea for Justice
A Psalm of Asaph.
1God ⚓stands in the congregation of the mighty;
He judges among ⚓the gods.
2How long will you judge unjustly,
And ⚓show partiality to the wicked?
Selah
3Defend the poor and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and ⚓needy.
4Deliver the poor and needy;
Free them from the hand of the wicked.
5They do not know, nor do they understand;
They walk about in darkness;
All the ⚓foundations of the earth are unstable.
6I said, ⚓“You are gods,
And all of you are children of the Most High.
7But you shall die like men,
And fall like one of the princes.”
8Arise, O God, judge the earth;
⚓For You shall inherit all nations.
