1Chúa Hằng Hữu!
Chúa đầy khoan nhân, chân thật.
Nguyện vinh quang quay về Danh Chúa,
Xin đừng về danh dự chúng con.
2Đừng cho các dân tộc hỏi nhau:
"Thần chúng nó bây giờ ở đâu?"
3Thượng Đế chúng con ngự trên trời,
Toàn năng làm mọi việc tuyệt vời.⚓
4Còn thần chúng nó bằng bạc vàng,
Chế tạo do bàn tay loài người;
5Có miệng không nói năng,
Và mắt không thấy đàng,
6Tai xa lạ âm thanh,⚓
Mũi nào biết hôi tanh,
7Tay lạnh lùng vô giác,
Chân bất động khô cằn,
Họng im lìm cứng ngắt.
8Người chế ra hình tượng,
Và người thờ tà thần
Đều giống như hình tượng!
9Y-sơ-ra-ên, khá tin cậy Thượng Đế,
Đấng cứu trợ! Thần che chở!
10Nhà A-rôn, hãy tin cậy Ngài,
Đấng cứu trợ! Thần che chở!
11Người kính sợ Chúa,
Hãy tin cậy Ngài!
Đấng cứu trợ, Thần che chở!
12Chúa Hằng Hữu ghi nhớ chúng ta,
Và ban phúc dồi dào.
Ngài ban phúc cho Y-sơ-ra-ên
Và dòng họ A-rôn.
13Chúa ban phúc cho
Người kính sợ Ngài
Vô luận lớn nhỏ.
14Nguyện cầu Thượng Đế
Giáng phúc triền miên
Cho các anh em
Và cho con cháu
15Anh em hưởng phúc
Từ Chúa oai quyền,
Lập địa tạo thiên.
16Chúa ngự trên trời,
Đất cho loài người
Làm nơi cư ngụ.
17Người đã chết làm sao ca tụng Chúa,
An giấc rồi, nín lặng cả thiên thu.
18Nhưng chúng con luôn luôn tôn vinh Ngài,
Từ nay cho đến muôn đời về sau. Ha-lê-lu-gia!

The Futility of Idols and the Trustworthiness of God
1Not ⚓unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth.
2Why should the Gentiles say,
⚓“So where is their God?”
3⚓But our God is in heaven;
He does whatever He pleases.
4⚓Their idols are silver and gold,
The work of men’s hands.
5They have mouths, but they do not speak;
Eyes they have, but they do not see;
6They have ears, but they do not hear;
Noses they have, but they do not smell;
7They have hands, but they do not handle;
Feet they have, but they do not walk;
Nor do they mutter through their throat.
8⚓Those who make them are like them;
So is everyone who trusts in them.
9⚓O Israel, trust in the Lord;
⚓He is their help and their shield.
10O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
11You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord;
He is their help and their shield.
12The Lord has been mindful of us;
He will bless us;
He will bless the house of Israel;
He will bless the house of Aaron.
13⚓He will bless those who fear the Lord,
Both small and great.
14May the Lord give you increase more and more,
You and your children.
15May you be⚓blessed by the Lord,
⚓Who made heaven and earth.
16The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s;
But the earth He has given to the children of men.
17⚓The dead do not praise the Lord,
Nor any who go down into silence.
18⚓But we will bless the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore.
