Dùng ống sáo
1Xin Chúa nghiêng tai nghe tiếng con,
Lưu ý đến điều con thầm nguyện.
2Lạy Thượng Đế, Vua Chí Cao!
Xin nghe con kêu nài,
Vì con cầu khẩn với Ngài.
3Từ sáng sớm, con đà lên tiếng,
Trình bày khẩn nguyện và đợi chờ.
4Vì Chúa không hài lòng tội lỗi,
Người ác làm sao sống với Ngài?
5Kẻ kiêu căng tìm đường trốn tránh,
Chúa khinh ghét mọi người bất công,
6Tiêu diệt bọn điêu ngoa dối trá,
Gớm ghê phường hiếu sát, gạt lường.
7Về phần con,
Nhờ thiên ân vô hạn,
Cung kính vào thánh đường,
Sợ sệt thờ phượng Chúa.
8Xin dẫn con theo đường ngay thẳng,
Vì kẻ thù rình rập chung quanh⚓,
Thương xót con, mở lối chỉ đường.
9Môi miệng họ trơn tru thơn thớt,
Nhưng lòng đầy nham hiểm gươm dao,
Cớ họng mở ra như cửa mộ,
Lưỡi đẩy đưa tán tỉnh lọc lừa.
10Chúa ôi, xin ra tay hình phạt,
Cho họ sa vào bẫy họ cài,
Trục xuất họ, vì tội vô kể,
Tội tranh chấp, nghịch thù Thượng Đế.
11Xin cho dân Chúa hưởng an vui,
Luôn reo mừng nhờ Chúa bảo toàn,
Và người kính yêu Ngài, hoan hỉ.
12Chúa giáng phúc trên người công chính,
Ân huệ Ngài phù hộ chở che.

A Prayer for Guidance
To the Chief Musician. With flutes. A Psalm of David.
1Give ⚓ear to my words, O Lord,
Consider my meditation.
2Give heed to the voice of my cry,
My King and my God,
For to You I will pray.
3My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
⚓In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
4For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness,
Nor shall evil dwell with You.
5The ⚓boastful shall not ⚓stand in Your sight;
You hate all workers of iniquity.
6You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;
The Lord abhors the ⚓bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy;
In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
8⚓Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies;
Make Your way straight before my face.
9For there is no faithfulness in their mouth;
Their inward part is destruction;
⚓Their throat is an open tomb;
They flatter with their tongue.
10Pronounce them guilty, O God!
Let them fall by their own counsels;
Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions,
For they have rebelled against You.
11But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You.
12For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
