Lees Txim thiab Zam Txim

  1Cov neeg uas tau zoo nyob kaj
   siab lug
  yog cov uas tus TSWV tsis suav hais tias
  muaj txim rau qhov nws zam lawv lub txim lawm.
  2Tus neeg uas tau zoo nyob kaj siab
   lug yog tus uas tus TSWV
  tsis suav hais tias nws tau ua
   txhaum thiab nws tsis ua neeg dag ntxias.

  3Thaum kuv tsis lees kuv tej kev txhaum,
  kuv tsis muaj zog, rau qhov kuv quaj tas hnub.
  4Tus TSWV, koj rau txim rau kuv
   nruab hnub hmo ntuj,
  kuv lub zog yaj ntshis ib yam li tej
   hws uas lub caij ntuj qhua tshav ntuj ziab qhuav lawm.

  5Thaum ntawd kuv lees kuv tej kev
   txhaum rau koj,
  kuv tsis zais tej uas kuv ua txhaum ib qho li,
  kuv lees kuv tej kev txhaum huv tibsi rau koj,
  thiab koj zam tagnrho kuv tej kev
   txhaum huv tibsi mus.

  6Yog li ntawd, thov cia cov neeg uas
   hwm koj
  thov koj thaum lawv xav kom koj pab lawv,
  thaum muaj kev txomnyem huam tuaj,
   tej ntawd yuav los tsis txog lawv.
  7Koj yog kuv lub chaw nkaum,
  koj yuav cawm kuv kom dim ntawm txojkev puastsuaj.
  Kuv yuav hu nkauj nrov nrov qhuas koj txojkev cawm dim,
  rau qhov koj yog tus tsomkwm kuv.

  8Tus TSWV hais tias, “Kuv yuav qhia
   txojkev uas koj yuav taug rau koj,
  kuv yuav qhia koj thiab ua koj tus
   tuavxam.
  9Tsis txhob ruam ib yam li tus nees lossis tus neeszag
  uas yuav tsum muab hwmtxee los looj thiab muab xauv
   sam nws qhovncauj thiaj cob tau.”

  10Cov neeg siab phem yuav raug kev
   txomnyem,
  tiamsis tus TSWV txojkev hlub yuav
   tsomkwm cov neeg uas cia siab rau nws mus li.
  11Nej cov uas yog neeg ncaj ncees,
   cia li txaus siab thiab zoo siab,
  rau qhov tus TSWV tau pab nej lawm.
  Nej cov uas mloog nws lus, cia li qw
   zoo siab.

Of David. A maskil.
  1Blessed is the one
   whose transgressions are forgiven,
   whose sins are covered.
  2Blessed is the one
   whose sin the Lord does not count against them
   and in whose spirit is no deceit.

  3When I kept silent,
   my bones wasted away
   through my groaning all day long.
  4For day and night
   your hand was heavy on me;
  my strength was sapped
   as in the heat of summer.

  5Then I acknowledged my sin to you
   and did not cover up my iniquity.
  I said, “I will confess
   my transgressions to the Lord.”
  And you forgave
   the guilt of my sin.

  6Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
   while you may be found;
  surely the rising of the mighty waters
   will not reach them.
  7You are my hiding place;
   you will protect me from trouble
   and surround me with songs of deliverance.

  8I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
   I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
  9Do not be like the horse or the mule,
   which have no understanding
  but must be controlled by bit and bridle
   or they will not come to you.
  10Many are the woes of the wicked,
   but the Lord’s unfailing love
   surrounds the one who trusts in him.

  11Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous;
   sing, all you who are upright in heart!
