Yauj teb

1Mas Yauj teb tias,
  2“Nej yuav tsim txom kuv lub siab
   thiab nej tej lus muab kuv zuaj ntev li cas?
  3Nej twb hais saib tsis taus kuv kaum zaus lawm.
   Qhov uas nej ua txhaum rau kuv
   nej tsis txaj muag lov?
  4Txawm yog kuv yuam kev ua txhaum tiag,
   los txojkev txhaum nyob ntawm kuv.
  5Yog nej tsab ua loj saib tsis taus kuv tiag,
   thiab ntxab ntxawm qhov uas
   kuv poob qes los nkaug kuv,
  6cia li paub tseeb tias Vajtswv qhau kuv cai,
   thiab nthuav nws lub vas vij kuv.
  7Saib maj, kuv qw hu tias,
   ‘Raug tsim txom heev,’
   tiamsis tsis muaj leejtwg teb,
  Kuv hu nrov, tiamsis tsis muaj leejtwg
   tu plaub ncaj.
  8Nws xov laj kab thaiv kuv lawm
   kuv thiaj hla mus tsis tau,
   thiab nws ua rau kuv txojkev tsaus ntuj nti.
  9Nws hle kuv lub meej mom,
   thiab hle lub mom muaj meej saum kuv taubhau.
  10Nws rhuav tshem kuv rau txhua fab,
   kuv thiaj ploj tag,
  thiab nws dob kuv txojkev vam
   ib yam nkaus li dob tsob ntoo.
  11Nws txojkev npau taws tshwm plaws rau kuv,
   thiab nws muab kuv suav tias
   yog nws li yeeb ncuab.
  12Nws cov tub rog tuaj txhij,
   lawv tib chaw vij ntaus kuv,
   thiab lawv ua yeej vij kuv lub tsev ntaub.

  13“Nws ua rau kuv tej kwvtij txav deb kuv,
   thiab cov uas txeev paub kuv
   kuj zoo li lwm haiv neeg lawm.
  14Kuv cov txheeb ze thiab kuv tej kwvluag zoo
   kuj tso kuv tseg lawm.
  15Tej qhua hauv kuv tsev tsis nco qab kuv lawm,
   kuv tej nkauj qhev suav tias kuv yog neeg lwm tebchaws,
   lawv saib kuv zoo li lwm haiv neeg.
  16Kuv hu kuv tus qhev, tiamsis nws tsis teb kuv,
   kuv yuav tsum tsa
   kuv lub qhov ncauj taij thov nws.
  17Kuv ua pa tsw ntxhiab rau kuv tus pojniam,
   kuv ntxim ntxub rau kuv niam tej tub.
  18Txawm yog tej menyuam yaus
   los saib tsis taus kuv,
   thaum kuv sawv tsees lawv kuj thuam luag kuv.
  19Kuv tej kwvluag sawvdaws ntxub kuv,
   thiab cov uas kuv nyiam
   kuj tig hlo ntawm kuv lawm.
  20Kuv tej pob txha lo kuv daim tawv nqaij,
   kuv dim plaws txoj nyuag siav xwb.
  21Au kuv tej kwvluag 'e,
   thov khuvleej kuv, thov khuvleej kuv lauj,
   vim Vajtswv txhais tes kov kuv.
  22Ua cas nej caum kuv yam li Vajtswv caum?
   Ua cas nej tseem tsis qhuav siab rau kuv?

  23“Kuv xav kom muab kuv tej lus khaws cia,
   kuv xav kom muab sau rau hauv ntawv.
  24Kuv xav kom muab cwjmem hlau
   thiab txhuas los txam
   rau hauv phab zeb kom nyob mus ib txhis.
  25Kuv paub tseeb tias tus uas txhiv kuv
   muaj txojsia nyob,
  mas thaum kawg nws yuav
   sawv nres nroos hauv lub ntiajteb.
  26Thaum kuv daim tawv nqaij
   raug puam tsuaj li no lawm,
   los kuv lub cev nqaij tseem yuav pom Vajtswv,
  27yog tus uas kuv tus kheej yuav pom ntag,
   kuv lub qhov muag yuav pom tsis yog lwm tus pom.
   Kuv lub siab tsis muaj zog lawm.
  28Yog nej hais tias, ‘Peb yuav caum nws li cas?’
   thiab hais tias,
   ‘Tej uas nws raug no yog tim nws,’
  29mas nej cia li ntshai hniav ntaj,
   rau qhov txojkev npau taws
  coj hniav ntaj los txiav txim,
   kom nej thiaj paub tias muaj kev txiav txim tiag.”

Job

1Then Job replied:
  2“How long will you torment me
   and crush me with words?
  3Ten times now you have reproached me;
   shamelessly you attack me.
  4If it is true that I have gone astray,
   my error remains my concern alone.
  5If indeed you would exalt yourselves above me
   and use my humiliation against me,
  6then know that God has wronged me
   and drawn his net around me.

  7“Though I cry, ‘Violence!’ I get no response;
   though I call for help, there is no justice.
  8He has blocked my way so I cannot pass;
   he has shrouded my paths in darkness.
  9He has stripped me of my honor
   and removed the crown from my head.
  10He tears me down on every side till I am gone;
   he uproots my hope like a tree.
  11His anger burns against me;
   he counts me among his enemies.
  12His troops advance in force;
   they build a siege ramp against me
   and encamp around my tent.

  13“He has alienated my family from me;
   my acquaintances are completely estranged from me.
  14My relatives have gone away;
   my closest friends have forgotten me.
  15My guests and my female servants count me a foreigner;
   they look on me as on a stranger.
  16I summon my servant, but he does not answer,
   though I beg him with my own mouth.
  17My breath is offensive to my wife;
   I am loathsome to my own family.
  18Even the little boys scorn me;
   when I appear, they ridicule me.
  19All my intimate friends detest me;
   those I love have turned against me.
  20I am nothing but skin and bones;
   I have escaped only by the skin of my teeth.

  21“Have pity on me, my friends, have pity,
   for the hand of God has struck me.
  22Why do you pursue me as God does?
   Will you never get enough of my flesh?

  23“Oh, that my words were recorded,
   that they were written on a scroll,
  24that they were inscribed with an iron tool on lead,
   or engraved in rock forever!
  25I know that my redeemer lives,
   and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
  26And after my skin has been destroyed,
   yet in my flesh I will see God;
  27I myself will see him
   with my own eyes—I, and not another.
   How my heart yearns within me!

  28“If you say, ‘How we will hound him,
   since the root of the trouble lies in him,
  29you should fear the sword yourselves;
   for wrath will bring punishment by the sword,
   and then you will know that there is judgment.
