1Tus uas ncaj ncees puam tsuaj,
thiab tsis muaj leejtwg quav ntsej,
cov uas xyaum zoo raug muab ntes coj mus lawm
thiab tsis muaj leejtwg txawj nkag siab.
Rau qhov tus uas ncaj ncees tuag
mas nws raug muab coj tawm
hauv qhov uas txom nyem lawm.
2Nws nkag mus rau hauv qhov uas kaj siab lug lawm.
Cov uas ua lub neej ncaj ncees
kuj tau so hauv nws lub chaw pw.
3“Nej cov uas yog pojniam txawj ua neeb tej tub
thiab cov uas yog tus ua nkauj ua nraug
thiab tus poj muag cev tej tub ki
cia li txav los ze ntawm no.
4Nej thuam luag leejtwg?
Nej rua ncauj luag thiab hlev nplaig rau leejtwg?
Nej tsis yog cov neeg fav xeeb
thiab cov neeg dag li menyuam lov?
5Nej kub siab lug mus sib deev
hauv tej qab ntoo xeeb
thiab hauv txhua tsob qab ntoo ntsuab,
nej muab nej tej menyuam tua⚓
rau hauv tej kwj ha thiab hauv tej qab tsuas.
6Nej li feem mas yog tej dab
ntawm tej pob zeb du du hauv hav dej,
tej dab ntawd yog nej li feem ntag.
Nej hliv cawv txiv hmab haiv laig
thiab coj qoob loo mus xyeem rau tej dab ntawd.
Twb muaj tej no, kuv tseem yuav hloov siab
tsis rau txim rau nej lov?
7Saum ib lub roob loj thiab siab
nej mus ua chaw pw
thiab nej coj qhov txhia chaw
nce mus xyeem rau dab qhov ntawd.
8Nej twb rhais ntxais rau nraum nej qhov rooj
thiab ntawm nej tus npuab rooj,
vim nej tso kuv tseg nej thiaj tshem
nej daim pam vov saum nej lub txaj pw,
nej nce mus pw rau saud
thiab kho chaw dav dav li.
Nej nrog lawv hais hum
thiab nej nyiam nrog lawv pw
thiab nej saib qhov uas lawv liab qab.
9Nej pleev roj tsw qab thiab tshuaj
tsw qab ntxiag mus nrhiav dab Maulej.
Nej tso neeg mus nrhiav deb deb li,
txawm yog hauv tub tuag teb
los nej tseem txib neeg nqes mus thiab.
10Txawm yog kev deb deb
ua rau nej txog siav kawg,
los nej twb tsis hais tias, ‘Tag kev vam lawm.’
Nej tseem muaj kev txhawb
kom nej rov muaj zog nej thiaj tsis tsaug leeg.
11“Nej ua siab puas tsus ntshai leejtwg
nej thiaj dag kuv tsis nco txog kuv
thiab tsis xav txog kuv mentsis li?
Yog kuv qos ncauj ntev los lawm
nej thiaj tsis ntshai kuv lov?
12Kuv yuav hais txog nej tej kev ncaj ncees
thiab tej uas nej ua,
tiamsis tej ntawd pab tsis tau nej.
13Thaum nej thov hu,
kuj cia nej tej dab mlom coob ntawd l
os cawm nej los maj!
Cua yuav muab tej dab mlom ntawd
ntsawj mus, ib nyuag nthwv cua xwb
yuav nqa kiag tej ntawd mus.
Tiamsis tus uas cawm siav rau hauv kuv
yuav tau lub tebchaws ua nws tug,
thiab yuav tau kuv lub roob uas dawb huv
ua qub txeeg qub teg.”
Yawmsaub yuav pab thiab kho nws haiv neeg tej mob
14Yuav muaj lus hais tias, “Tsub av,
tsub av kom siab, thiab npaj txojkev,
cia li tshem tej uas tsuam kuv haiv neeg txojkev.”
15Rau qhov tus uas siab kawg,
tus uas nyob ib txhis tsis kawg,
tus uas lub npe hu ua Dawb Huv
hais li no tias, “Kuv nyob qhov chaw
uas siab thiab dawb huv,
thiab nrog tus uas lees nws qhov txhaum
thiab txo nws lub hwjchim nyob,
yuav txhawb tus uas txo hwjchim tus ntsuj plig
thiab txhawb tus uas lees
nws qhov txhaum lub siab.
16Kuv yuav tsis tawm tsam mus ib txhis,
thiab kuv yuav tsis chim mus li,
rau qhov neeg tus ntsuj plig
yuav qaug zog ntawm kuv xubntiag,
yog cov neeg uas kuv pub muaj txojsia nyob.
17Kuv chim vim yog lawv txojkev siab hlob
ua txhaum muaj txim,
kuv thiaj ntaus lawv thiab fee plhu
thiab chim lawm.
Tiamsis lawv tseem tig rov qab mus
ua raws li lawv lub siab nyiam.
18Kuv twb pom tej uas lawv ua tag lawm,
mas kuv yuav kho kom lawv zoo.
Kuv yuav coj lawv thiab yuav nplij lawv lub siab,
thiab kuv yuav ua rau cov uas quaj ntsuag
muaj lus qhuas ntawm lub qhov ncauj.”
19Yawmsaub hais tias,
“Muaj kev thaj yeeb,
kev thaj yeeb rau cov uas nyob deb
thiab cov uas nyob ze.
Kuv yuav kho kom lawv zoo.”
20Tiamsis cov neeg limhiam
zoo yam nkaus li dej hiavtxwv
ntas mus ntas los, tsis txawj tus li,
thiab tej dej ntawd do kom
tej txo thiab tej tog khaub tog tsuag sawv tuaj.
21Kuv tus Vajtswv hais tias,
“Cov neeg limhiam
yuav tsis muaj lub siab tus li.”

1The righteous perish,
and no one takes it to heart;
the devout are taken away,
and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away
to be spared from evil.
2Those who walk uprightly
enter into peace;
they find rest as they lie in death.
3“But you—come here, you children of a sorceress,
you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!
4Who are you mocking?
At whom do you sneer
and stick out your tongue?
Are you not a brood of rebels,
the offspring of liars?
5You burn with lust among the oaks
and under every spreading tree;
you sacrifice your children in the ravines
and under the overhanging crags.
6The idols among the smooth stones of the ravines are your portion;
indeed, they are your lot.
Yes, to them you have poured out drink offerings
and offered grain offerings.
In view of all this, should I relent?
7You have made your bed on a high and lofty hill;
there you went up to offer your sacrifices.
8Behind your doors and your doorposts
you have put your pagan symbols.
Forsaking me, you uncovered your bed,
you climbed into it and opened it wide;
you made a pact with those whose beds you love,
and you looked with lust on their naked bodies.
9You went to Molek⚓ with olive oil
and increased your perfumes.
You sent your ambassadors⚓ far away;
you descended to the very realm of the dead!
10You wearied yourself by such going about,
but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’
You found renewal of your strength,
and so you did not faint.
11“Whom have you so dreaded and feared
that you have not been true to me,
and have neither remembered me
nor taken this to heart?
Is it not because I have long been silent
that you do not fear me?
12I will expose your righteousness and your works,
and they will not benefit you.
13When you cry out for help,
let your collection of idols save you!
The wind will carry all of them off,
a mere breath will blow them away.
But whoever takes refuge in me
will inherit the land
and possess my holy mountain.”
Comfort for the Contrite
14And it will be said:
“Build up, build up, prepare the road!
Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.”
15For this is what the high and exalted One says—
he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place,
but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly
and to revive the heart of the contrite.
16I will not accuse them forever,
nor will I always be angry,
for then they would faint away because of me—
the very people I have created.
17I was enraged by their sinful greed;
I punished them, and hid my face in anger,
yet they kept on in their willful ways.
18I have seen their ways, but I will heal them;
I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners,
19creating praise on their lips.
Peace, peace, to those far and near,”
says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”
20But the wicked are like the tossing sea,
which cannot rest,
whose waves cast up mire and mud.
21“There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
